From the moment we toured The Hamilton Manor, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding—and our experience exceeded every expectation. The space itself is stunning, but what truly sets this venue apart is the team behind it. From planning to execution, they were organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life. Every detail was handled with care, which allowed us to fully enjoy our day without stress. On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our guests were comfortable and that the timeline flowed perfectly. We received countless compliments on the venue, the atmosphere, and how smooth everything felt. We are so grateful to The Hamilton Manor - especially Diana, Kristen, Olivia, and Carmen - for creating such an unforgettable experience and would recommend them without hesitation to any couple planning their wedding.

The Hamilton Manor was nothing short of incredible! We got married Oct. 24th, 2025. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect—warm, elegant, and full of excitement. Every unique space of the grounds created the ideal backdrop for our day. The food was outstanding. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was and how much they ate! It truly felt like a fine dining experience, not just “wedding food.” The service was phenomenal. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, organized, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely taken care of from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful or well-run venue. Highly recommend this place to any couple looking for an unforgettable wedding experience!

My husband and I could not be happier with our experience at The Hamilton Manor! From the very first tour to the moment our wedding day ended, everything was absolutely flawless. The entire planning process was smooth and stress-free — every person we worked with was kind, professional, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. They were always quick to respond, incredibly organized, and made us feel so supported through every step. The venue itself is breathtaking — elegant, timeless, and truly magical. From the grand ballroom to the beautifully manicured gardens, every space felt luxurious yet warm and welcoming. On our wedding day, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran seamlessly. We didn’t have to worry about a single detail — they handled everything with such grace and precision that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Our guests are still raving about the food! The cocktail hour was an absolute hit — everyone couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the selection and presentation were. The entrées were just as incredible, and so many of our guests said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. We are endlessly grateful for our experience at The Hamilton Manor. Our wedding day truly felt like a dream come to life. We would recommend this venue to any couple looking for an elegant, timeless, and unforgettable place to celebrate their love!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Hamilton Manor. From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and our wedding day exceeded every dream we had. First and foremost, working with our coordinator Diana was an absolute joy. She is kind, organized, calm, and endlessly gracious—exactly the person you want guiding you through such an important day. Her confidence and attention to detail made the entire planning process feel manageable and reassuring, and on the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. We were able to truly relax and enjoy every moment knowing we were in such capable hands. The owners of Hamilton Manor were also incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made a huge difference throughout the planning process. Every question, request, and adjustment was met with warmth and professionalism. The day-of staff—especially Hannah and Lloyd—were phenomenal. Attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind, they made sure everything (and everyone) was taken care of. The entire staff was outstanding, and their teamwork showed in how smoothly the day unfolded. Nothing felt rushed or out of place—it truly ran like a well-oiled machine. Our guests are still talking about how stunning the venue was. The décor, the atmosphere, and the holiday touches were absolutely magical. In fact, so many of our friends and family have used photos from our wedding as their Christmas card photos, social media profile pictures, and keepsakes—that’s how beautiful the setting was. The cocktail hour was abundant and delicious, with an impressive spread that wowed our guests, and the dessert display was just as memorable. And the food overall? Outstanding—truly restaurant-quality and beautifully presented. Hamilton Manor delivered an experience that was elegant, warm, joyful, and unforgettable. Our family and friends were blown away, and we will be cherishing memories of this day for the rest of our lives. If you are considering this venue for your wedding or event, look no further—you will be in the very best hands.

My husband and I couldn't be happier to write this review for The Hamilton Manor. We got happily married on 10/9/25. We had looked at a total of 6 other venues around the state of NJ and after we toured The Hamilton Manor we knew right away this was the place for us. Our guests are still reaching out over a week later to tell us how beautiful the venue was and how great the food was. From the bride and groom's perspective, our day was absolutely perfect, not a single complaint as everything was as smooth as can be. Erin, Kristen, Hannah & Lloyd, helped make everything go smoothly and accommodated all of our needs and wants to make our day so special. We had used Limelight Entertainment as our DJ, Marquee Photo & Video, Ivy on Main as our florist, and Palermo's bakery for cake. The Hamilton Manor offers a little bit of everything for everyone. Anyone looking for a wedding venue in NJ we strongly encourage you to add The Hamilton Manor to your list. We are extremely thankful for the entire Hamilton Manor team and all the vendors that made our day so special.

October 16th, 2025, will be a day that my husband and I will never forget. Not just because we held our wedding at the Hamilton Manor on that day, but the staff, especially Diana, Kristen, Hannah, and Lloyd, made it a day to remember. From locking in on the day three years ago, Diana was always there. She was extremely easy to talk to and was always so excited for us as our wedding day was approaching. She was not only our wedding director, but truly was a friend during the entire process. When my husband and I were shopping around for a wedding venue, all that I had asked for was rustic but romantic, and the Hamilton Manor DELIVERED. The barn was the most beautiful place to get married in, and the lanterns were a bonus! But the reception area was breathtaking- it truly brought tears to my eyes because HM brought my vision to life. On the wedding day, it was truly seamless. From the personal photos taken during the time our photographer was taking photos of my husband and I outside, to the organization of our LARGE bridal party before the ceremony. NOT TO MENTION!!! The cocktail hour was phenomenal. All of our guests have ranted and raved over the food, and it couldn't have been a more amazing experience. I will say, many of my guests have spoken very highly of LJ- saying how respectful and attentive he was. But Kristen and Hannah were also SO amazing. They both attended to every ask that I had before the ceremony, and I am eternally grateful. HM- We hope to be back as a guest for a future wedding. Thank you for everything!

We just had our wedding this past Friday at the Hamilton manor. Everyone has raved about our wedding. The cocktail hour and food is 10/10. My family is European so that was a big thing and everyone was shocked at how amazing the food was. The staff LJ and Gail were marvelous. LJ was on top of my husband and I all night was the vibe of the party. Anything we needed we had in the next minute. Gail hyped the dance floor up she was the sweetest lady. I had Ella as my coordinator and she was the best always reached out and communicated. The amount of stuff that is included in your package is amazing. Thank you again Hamilton.

Our wedding at The Hamilton Manor (July 2025) was truly the best day of our lives—and that’s thanks in no small part to the incredible team who made every single moment smooth, seamless, and so special. From the moment we toured the Manor, we just knew. The property is stunning, but it was Erin—who gave us our initial tour—who sealed the deal. She was kind, patient, and incredibly clear. Every detail of the sales process was laid out with honesty and transparency, which immediately earned our trust and made us feel confident in our decision. Throughout the planning process, we had the pleasure of working with Diana, who is a total gem. She’s organized, responsive, sweet, and so knowledgeable. People often say wedding planning is stressful… but honestly? It never felt that way with Diana and the team. They had us so well-prepared that all we had to do was show up and enjoy. (Huge shoutout to Cala’s Floral Boutique and TMT Weddings for helping bring the day to life.) The day itself was flawless. Diana introduced us to our incredible bridal attendant Caitlyn, who was by our side the entire night—anticipating every need and making us feel completely taken care of. She even stepped in as the “bad cop” when we needed help politely moving our photographers along so we could get back to the party—handled with total grace. We were also lucky enough to interact with the owners, Joe and Melissa, throughout. They are genuine, present, and clearly pour their hearts into this venue. That love is reflected in every team member you encounter. The service staff was next-level. From our head server Shania—who made us feel like royalty—to every server who personally delivered meals to guests by name and dietary need, it felt like five-star hospitality. “Jacob, you have the shellfish allergy—here’s your plate.” “Ashley, you’re gluten-free—this one’s yours.” Huge thanks to our amazing servers: Gail, Marisol, Willy, William, Santiago, Nymere, Allison, Raimar. You each helped make the night so memorable. The bartenders were absolute stars—fun, fast, and full of personality. They kept the energy high and the vibes festive, making every guest feel welcome and cared for. People talked about them just as much as the food and music. And of course, our maître d’, Lloyd, was the heartbeat of the evening—floating all night to ensure everything ran smoothly. He just got it—no instructions needed. You could feel his experience and care in every moment. The cocktail hour was legendary. There was SO much variety—from the carving station to the slider bar, the pasta station to the Italian stuffed breads—and that’s just scratching the surface. Guests were blown away by how much there was, and how delicious every single bite tasted. It wasn’t just quantity—it was quality, too. Dinner was equally impressive. The salads were fresh and vibrant, and the entrées were unforgettable. We had the braised short rib with shrimp skewers—rich, juicy, and full of flavor. Our vegan guests were raving about the cauliflower piccata—hearty, savory, and totally satisfying. Dessert was a dream. We chose the Italian pastry table and Boardwalk Bar—playful, indulgent, and a huge crowd-pleaser. And the cake! We went with Palermo’s Bakery and wow… I don’t even like cake, and I could’ve cried at the tasting. It was perfectly moist, rich without being too sweet, and just incredible on the wedding day. We had a live band (shoutout to EBE Talent), and they flowed seamlessly with the Manor’s team. It was clear everyone was working toward the same goal: to create an unforgettable experience. I know I’m biased, but I genuinely believe our wedding was the best I’ve ever been to—and so many of our guests said the same. The Hamilton Manor doesn’t just host weddings—they care about them. Every detail, every interaction, every moment was full of intention and heart. If you’re considering this venue, don’t think twice. It’s not just a beautiful space—it’s a team of people who will treat your day like it matters to them as much as it does to you. We are forever grateful.

Yelp
I was here for a wedding recently. The place is beautiful. The ceremony was held in this barn like structure they have beside their main building. You never felt cold with all the heaters and in addition, they provided blankets in case you wanted. There was also hot chocolate served outside the barn after the ceremony. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The space for the cocktail hour and reception in the main building was just as beautiful. Huge open rooms all adorned by the bride and groom with sweet touches. I will say the food left a lot to be desired though. It seemed that most of the things were overcooked. Case in point the most, when they brought out my fiilet mignon. Should have been cooked medium rare. It came out well done. I took 2 bites and just pushed it aside. There also was a hair on my vegetables. You can actually see it in the photo. Nice place, not great food.

Yelp
Wedding venues are the most difficult the rate on Yelp. Reason being menu choices aren't made by the facility, the host makes the menu and sometimes it's just not a great experience The location is beautiful with a "barn" for the ceremony which was beautiful, a large bar for pre ceremony cocktails, a large cellar for the cocktail hour and a tremendous ballroom for the reception. Plenty of parking. The entree was excellent, one of the best I have had at a wedding. Rosemary chicken, short ribs, mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Everything on the plate was delicious. The cocktail was for the lack of a better description was boardwalk food, pizza, sliders, Stromboli, French fries, onion rings, pasta, steak. Nothing was great. The desserts were above par, tasty pastry and cookies. The wedding cake wasn't good. The cocktails weren't great, very light on the alcohol. Solid 3.5 stars possibly better depending on choices.

Yelp
We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Hamilton Manor. The venue is beautiful, the wedding ran smoothly and every aspect was perfect. The price was very reasonable for such an amazing place. We especially loved that each part of the wedding - from photographs, to ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception - had its own space. Would definitely recommend to anyone newly engaged couples looking for their wedding venue!

Yelp
I had the distinct pleasure of attending my nephew's wedding reception at the Hamilton Manor on April 4th. The venue is beautiful but the attentiveness of the staff is exceptional. The staff at the venue made sure every single person at the event had a wonderful time. I would be remiss if I didn't point out the wonderful service and attention that we received from our waitress Gail!! She was spectacular and saw to it that everyone at our table felt special. If you are looking for a memorable experience for all in attendance you won't go wrong if you consider the Hamilton Manor for your event!!

Yelp
Went for a wedding over the weekend and had Danny as one of our bartenders, he was absolutely phenomenal. The drinks were fast but delicious and it was genuinely the best aperol spritz I've ever had. The whole staff was phenomenal, 10/10!

I can't say enough great things about The Hamilton Manor! My bride and groom were so very well taken care of, and as a wedding photographer ( www.danielnydick.com) , I have to tell you they do a WONDERFUL job here!

Yelp
Was here for a wedding tonight and had a wonderful experience. Everyone on the staff had their hands full and all of them were very thorough in making sure everybody had a great experience. Cocktail hour was very organized and all of the food was absolutely delicious. I don't have any pictures but the bacon wrapped dates were my favorite. Special shout-out to Trinity who was a great server throughout all of the commotion from the wedding party. Congratulations Justin and Mackenzie

Yelp
This place is amazing. Family and friends said it was by far the best wedding they have ever experienced. From the venue, staff, scenery, top shelf drinks, and OMG the food. Best experience ever.

Yelp
We came here for a wedding last Sunday. Ceremonial area was nice but cold - the heaters weren't really sound much. Cocktail hour was ok, I'm guessing it was the basement of the manor because we went down. Lighting was bad - wish it wasn't so yellow and dark. Food was ok for cocktail hour. There was nothing that made anyone go WOW for. The actually reception was a lot nicer. Big and open. The food on the other hand was a miss. Chicken had no taste and was stuffed with so much spinach and the salmon did not taste good. Dessert time was better - the Venetian table had a lot of choices. As much as I wanted to love this place, I didn't. It has its pros and cons - seemed like there were more cons though. Lastly, the service seemed depressed all night. No one really smiling. It's like they were there because they had to be. We been to many weddings and this is probably the only place I felt a bit like we (the guest) were a bother! Customer service is key, especially with a wedding venue. This place may want to change their menus and check their staff.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. I ordered the filet medium and was served an overdone steak way way past medium. And when asked for a replacement was told we only cook it one day. Had i been told that when i ordered i would of selected a different dish so now I have no dinner because I wasnt even offered a replacement meal. Would never recommend

Yelp
I am the Mother-of-the Bride. The venue is beautiful. The people are awesome, professional and at your service. The Chicken Milanese was unacceptably overcooked and dry. My guests have more class than to send back their meal at the wedding, which is what I was told they should have done. I was assured the chicken was made fresh that day. I'm sure it was. It was overcooked that day. I was mortified. The bride remains unaware of the situation, because she would be devastated to know her guests were less than satisfied.

Yelp
Don't go to google for reviews! They delete all their negative reviews! This is the real Hamilton manor. STAY AWAY!!!! Please do you and your family/friends a favor and DO NOT book this venue!!! If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would give them negative 1,000000! These people are pure scumbags that only care about making a profit. I understand they are running a business and need to make money, but they will not work with any couple that is being effected by covid AT ALL. Just look at all of their negative comments regarding the virus! If you search other wedding venues, there are plenty of other beautiful places that don't have negative comments regarding covid. WARNING: newly engaged couples... when looking for a venue, steer clear from places that have negative comments about covid cause they will screw you over in a heartbeat. We asked them if we could change our date for our wedding because we knew that things would not be getting better with covid and they told us, "absolutely not. We don't do that here. If you don't make your next payment then your date is up for grabs" so we said ok we want to cancel. Once we told them we want to cancel and want our money back, they told us they don't give money back and wouldn't even offer any other service. Now we have an attorney involved. So please please please. I know this place is beautiful, but the owners will put a fake face on and try to impress you on how "nice" they are while touring their venue. ITS FAKE!!!! There are plenty of other beautiful venues that will actually care about you during this pandemic!

Yelp
Super customer service & even better staff!!! They handled every detail of my sons wedding with excellence. The site is exquisite

Yelp
Wonderful time attending a wedding at the Hamilton Manor. The staff service was very attentive to all requests. We had an opportunity to meet Shawn, who never stopped overseeing the event. Extremely professional and personable. I highly recommend this venue for events.

Yelp
This review is lengthy. If you are thinking of getting married here I would read this review in full so you can see what kind of people the owners of this venue are. I am writing this review to warn future brides and parents of couples. Many people warned me about this venue and explained that all of their couple's are just a dollar sign to them, I didn't listen and I am now paying for that. I have given this venue since January 2022 to make things right, instead they have completely ghosted me and have been ignoring me since. Their contract states that all payments and deposits are non refundable and I understand that but in my case they sold my date RIGHT AWAY to another couple and still kept ALL of my money (I paid more than half). If I had known that they were not going to give me any money back I would have had the party anyways since I had paid more than half already but instead they completely ghosted me after I called them about canceling. I called my event coordinator at the end of December 2021 crying to explain to her what had happened to me. I told her how my ex fiance was cheating on me while I was in the hospital with our son for a week, crashed our car, stole all my money, and left me and my sons making me a single mother of two small boys. I completely understand none of that is their problem but the fact that they knew all of this information and played me... just shows what kind of people they are. I spoke to the owner and in mid conversation of me try to explain what had happened to me he cut me off and said "I don't care about the backstory, I am just here to answer questions". I then asked him if I would be able to sell my date to another couple so I can get my money back because I know many venues are willing to do this and he told me they do not allow people to do this. I then asked "if I canceled would I get any money back?" he tricked me and said that I would need to send an email saying "i'm canceling" and he said this would just start the process of them being able to see if they could sell my wedding date to another couple and then they would call me to tell me if I would get money back. At the end of the phone call he said that I can reach out to the event coordinators at any time for follow ups and questions. Once we got off the phone I received an email from the event coordinator saying "To move the process along, please send me an email saying your canceling and releasing your wedding date of Sunday July 10, 2022 at The Hamilton Manor" I responded with "Would I be able to sell my date to someone so I can get my money back?" (again I would have had the party anyways if I received a truthful answer) and she responded "I do not have any information on that. I first would need an email stating that you're releasing the date in order to begin the cancellation process to find out" and so I sent the email "I am canceling" after this email.. CRICKETS. No confirmation, NO CANCELLATION CONTRACT, no updates.. Nothing. Also, I wanted to help sell my date so I made a post on a facebook group about me trying to sell my date and asked people if they would let me know if they were interested so I can stay in the loop. Many reached out to me saying the date was taken which means my date was sold almost instantly and The Hamilton Manor never reached out to me to tell me. I emailed my event coordinator, the owner did tell me I can reach out to the coordinators for updates and I said "I have not heard back from you about signing a cancellation contract and if you found someone to take my date, If you found someone to take my date, can I please have my money back?". She responds with "I am no longer your point of contact now that you've canceled. Please direct all questions to Joe the owner". CANCELED? I never signed a cancellation contract nor received any confirmations. I was told if I sent that email it would just start the process and then they would let me know if there was a possibility of getting my money back. I then nicely stating that I never signed a cancellation contract and prefer everything to be in writing. She then gave me the owners email and I have not heard back from him at all. This has been since January of 2022. Again, I understand they said payments are non refundable but they sold my date instantly and had another wedding on that date keeping my almost $20,000. There is no reason that a wedding venue who is fully booked every single year Thursday-Sunday needs to keep a struggling single moms money. I expected at least half back, or even a response would have been nice as well instead this just proves that we are all just another dollar sign to them. RUN FAST.

Yelp
Went to a wedding here a couple of weeks ago and have to say the service was terrible. I didn't get what I ordered and when I told the waiter it wasn't t my choice I more or less was told Too bad. This is so wrong I'm sure the bride and groom Paid a lot of money to have their wedding there and what's the sense to pre order if you don't get why you wanted in the first place..This is not a way to run a wedding their help Needs to be retrained on the way they treat the guest

Yelp
There are no words adequate enough to explain how PERFECT Hamilton Manor as a venue and it's workers are for a wedding- I just married the love of my life on 5/25/2018 at Hamilton Manor and have nothing but great things to say. Bear with me, as I bet this will go longer than I intend- but it's only because I feel that passionately about making sure HM and its staff receives enough praise that they rightfully deserve for helping us have the best day of our lives! First, Melissa Salzano was our main coordinator, and I can't find enough kind words to describe her! She is just the most genuinely nice and thoughtful person... combine that with her dedication to her job and her brides/grooms at the venue, and you have the perfect person helping you plan your big day! She answered every email (and even when I sent a few separate emails in a row as the day got closer and I would randomly remember things to ask!) she never acted like it was troublesome but instead was always reassuring, helpful, and excited to help in anyway! Melissa made me feel like I had nothing to worry about the entire planning process as well as the actual big day. I felt well taken care of and as if I were her only bride (which we all know Hamilton Manor is getting beyond popular and they probably have a bride or two every single weekend all year!!) Melissa, if you are reading this, THANK YOU times a million!!!! I tell everyone how sweet you are and how you made me even more excited than I already was for my wedding, just because of how calm of a presence you were the entire year of prepping before our big day. Hamilton Manor as a whole venue just is incredibly beautiful. It's not fake and gaudy like some venues we had toured. It's elegant, fancy but not overdone, rustic but with charm and modern elements, and just absolutely perfect for me and my now husband (!!!!) ! We felt at home the second we saw this venue. The wooden ballroom with chandeliers are second to none. The food is truly fantastic (can we give it up for the chefs?! Ive never tasted a better chicken in my life.. chicken Milanese for those of you deciding what to eat .. get that haha!!) The day of coordinator, Corinne, was also so sweet and made Bryce and me feel so special and calm on our wedding day. She helped with all the little details alongside Melissa! These ladies are amazing and genuine... but back to the venue, everyone we encountered was beyond helpful and kind. The food, drinks, package, ceremony site, ballroom, cocktail hour cellar, and barn are all stunning! All our guests raved about our venue for all counts! We had guests from all over the country spanning to California as well as my cousins from Norway! I don't think they'll ever stop talking about The Hamilton Manor and how this venue helped complete our perfect day in all ways! I wish I could better describe the service, people , and venue, because that's how much I love it. Bryce and I are SO grateful and did not have a single hitch all day!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Yelp
Just hosted a bridal shower here on 3.7. Everyone took care of us. From the time we walked in, each person I passed was friendly and asked, "how can I help you?". The room was set up nicely. The food was fantastic. The eggplant rollatini changed my whole perspective on eggplant...I loved it! The staff gave us a cart and helped us get our presents out. You can see that the staff works well as a team. I would definitely consider this place for another event!

Yelp
The Hamilton Manor is a modern and spacious facility with a variety of well-appointed ballrooms appropriate for weddings, corporate galas and trendy Sweet 16s. The Manor is one of the only venues in the area that can accommodate up to 500 guests in its Grand Ballroom. More recently, the Manor has expanded its outdoor facilities with a covered barn and new outdoor wedding gazebo - making it the ideal venue for a wedding held during temperate times of the year. Looking beyond the gorgeous facilities, owner/operators Andre and Erin Salzano provide personalized service that the large hotel chains can simply not duplicate. Meghan Daly, who manages many of the events at the Manor, is super experienced and knows how to run a seamless party. Whether attending an event at the Hamilton Manor as a guest, or working there as an events DJ, the Hamilton Manor always provides an exceptional experience. I highly recommend the Hamilton Manor to anybody looking for a classy venue with great food and service.

Yelp
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! These people are downright corrupt. Don't trust them on your walk through about them "treating you like family" They will break your contract if anything goes wrong and basically force you to make a decision on if it's worth getting an attorney and dealing with the time and headache that it brings. I was in a position to leave where I would only have lost a few thousand with them. I feel bad for every bride that has to waste their time and hard earned money. My wedding wasn't for close to a year away and they blamed COVID for taking 2 hours and an after party away from us which is IN THE CONTRACT and one of the main reasons we chose them. Using a temporary national emergency to make a permanent business decision a year away and not offer refunds is just flat wrong. We gave push back and their CEO called and EVENTUALLY offered us $7.50 a person. I doubt they offered it to everyone unless you really complained. So if they didn't offer it and you're stuck in your contract, give them push back to give you more money. I know another bride whose original date was soon and what a shame with what they are going through. Go somewhere who has more experience than them. Other venues are handling this situation with class. If I could give any advice to a new bride looking for a venue it would be that you and your fiancé deserve a good night and people you can trust on one of the best days of your life. This place is not it. I can promise you from experience and all the other brides who are going through what I am would probably tell you the same. DON'T BOTHER.

Jack B.

Yelp
I was at a wedding there over this past weekend. I was shocked at the lack of attention to covid protocols. Perhaps it is up to the families hosting the wedding to establish rules (vaccinations, etc.) and safe activities for their guests (which they did not). But most of the Manor staff was unmasked, hand sanitizer and extra masks were hard to find, and there were apparently no capacity limits for social distancing in the event rooms (e.g., cocktail-hour basement room was packed). It was a covid-spreading event if I ever saw one! Be careful.

Yelp
Really, really awful experience with uncaring, greedy people who do not care about their clients. A wedding should be a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Hamilton Manor made my experience a nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

E M.

Yelp
The worst people ever run this joint. Taking full advantage of the global pandemic to rip off brides and grooms. Requires people who have a wedding in spring 2020 to pay in full to be able to rebook only for Thursdays in the coming year.

Yelp
I was recently wed at The Hamilton Manor (7.12.19) and it was a blast -- simply the best! Our wedding coordinator was Erin and she just understood everything even at my most awkward of questions! Everything at The Hamilton Manor is just easy -- simply put! I am accustomed to Italian, New York weddings, and this impresses without breaking the bank. The food is phenomenal (remember, I'm Italian and know things about food), the drinks were great, the atmosphere fantastic, the grounds beautiful, and honestly my wedding was just the best. Im serious -- not just because it was my own -- THIS. WAS. THE. BEST. VENUE. EVER. If you are looking for a rustic place that still gives you the menu and attention of a catering hall, you want to book here. If you end up booking here, let me know and invite me because I want to go again!

Yelp
Was in a wedding there, which all went very seamless and very well coordinated. It was a beautiful day UNTIL we witnessed blatant stereotyping and racism. There is no need for details, just know their were assumptions made, and they unfortunately pinned it on the only colored man on the dance floor. Their security staff really made poor choices to end the night and in doing so acted VERY unprofessional.

Yelp
I attended a party in the Oak Room at Hamilton Manor. There were about forty of us in attendance. The Oak Room is probably one of their smaller rooms and it was the perfect size for our group. The ambiance is gorgeous. From the oak appointed interior and bar to the tin ceiling, it really works. There were ten people at our circular table and it was set very nicely, including two pitchers of ice water and a stemmed glass for everyone. We poured some water and waited for everyone to be seated and so on. At this point a waiter brought a bottle of white to the table and walked away. We looked at each other and thought, "Where are the wine glasses?" "What if you want red wine?" After several minutes without the wait staff coming by, a couple of us chugged our water and used those glasses for wine. When one waiter stopped by we told him about the lack of glasses. He apparently relayed that to a colleague and a waitress showed up and dropped off four wine glasses. I presume she could only carry two in each hand but never returned. We had to flag down a third waiter to explain we needed more glasses. Finally he came with the missing glasses and I asked him if he had any red. He said, "Oh yeah" and returned with the red. Meanwhile the white was empty so we had to ask for more white. At the same time busboys are taking dishes away prematurely without asking, "Are you done with that bread dish sir?" We ran out of water and asked that they refill it. The waitress took the decanters and didn't return. Finally that too got sorted out. That's pretty much how the night went service wise. It seemed that the wait staff were very inexperienced. This is a catering venue. That is all they do. No excuse for poor service. Perhaps management should consider schooling their help a bit better. Eventually things got better or I drank enough wine not to care; one of those. Except for the soggy salad that was seemingly prepped at 8 AM the food was the redeeming factor, at least good enough to earn them an extra star. The family style food was very good, came out hot, and there was plenty of it; a beef dish and a salmon entrée with crisp steamed veggies. I attended a wedding reception here not long after they opened and don't remember those service issues. Maybe we had the A Team. If they can get that together a four star rating may be in order.

Yelp
I've eaten here a couple times, and really not a fan. The first time was last Valentine's Day with my wife. The place wasn't very full, yet we waited for our food forever. We both ordered appetizers. My wife had asked if there was cheese on the one she ordered (she can't eat cheese) and the server said no. It came out smothered in it. So she asked for something else (which took another half hour). Probably another half hour after that our main course came. We must have been there some where between two and two and a half hours total, and maybe 30 minutes of that was spent with actual food in front of us. The food itself was hit or miss. I'll admit, the appetizer I got and the 2nd one (sans the cheese) my wife got were both really good. However, we both ordered steak for the main course, and it really wasn't very good at all. Tasted kind of like banquet food, like when it's prepared en masse and then left under heating lamps for too long. We were ordering off a prixe fix menu, so it wasn't too costly. But I saw the prices on their regular menu. Really not worth it to me to pay full price. The second time I was there was because they were having a show and a buddy of mine was performing. We had made a reservation, but that got messed up so we weren't seated with our other friends who were there to see him. Tried to order drinks and food, but the waitress disappeared. Eventually we caught up to her, and it turned out they had a bar menu for the event (burgers, chicken wings, that sort of thing). When we finally got our food, it was pretty good. But this isn't the kind of place I think you go to for burgers and wings (especially for what they want to charge you for it).

Yelp
I went here for a friend's wedding, they had the cocktail hour downstairs and the reception upstairs. The food was ok, there were servers passing and a buffet set-up inside another area, the bar was a good size but they need 2 attendees for a wedding that has more than 100. The reception area was a good ballroom size and did a good job. We had a buffet option here and I didn't really enjoy much except for the turkey so I did leave hungry. I think there are better spots for an event around here but they did a good job if you do decide on having it here, I would hire a DOC to supervise.

Yelp
This place is way over priced for what it offers. It has horrible food, that's dressed up to look fancy. Horrible bartenders, and even worse music.

Yelp
Based on the large event I hosted with 250+ guests, I can only rave about this place. Melissa made the planning process easy, was exceptionally accommodating, and dealt with changes up to the last minute. The guests enjoyed the food, the service was efficient and the venue is beautiful. I suggest having your next event here!!

Yelp
We recently had our son's and new daughter's wedding at the Hamilton Manor and it truly was an AMAZING experience. Everything went seamlessly and my husband and I cannot say enough positive things about the staff especially Colleen. She was fantastic! Led us through the day with a smile at all times. We have been to many weddings over the years and are happy to say that we received only wonderful and positive compliments from our family and friends on the venue and the food. The venue was spectacular! The ceremony was held at the Gazebo and the Cocktail hour at the Barn. We have attended many weddings where the cocktail hour venue is so compact that you cannot move. There was a ton of space at the Barn and seating was available for all our 150 guests. The Ballroom was stunning! The food was delicious from the cocktail hour to dinner to dessert and the Venetian Table. Absolutely no complaints. It was a spectacular wedding experience!

Yelp
My husband and I had the most AMAZING wedding experience here, and totally unbiased although it was our own wedding because every single thing went seamlessly! We have been in and went to so many weddings where things were off or went wrong but we only received wonderful and positive compliments from friends and family. Everyone was amazed at the venue and service, and mostly happy that everything was so spacious as there's many times you go to weddings and the cocktail hour is soooo cramped and people can barely stand in the room together and walk around. We had cocktail hour in the barn and it was just perfect. Everything was perfect, the food was delicious from cocktail hour to dinner to dessert. Timing went well, the ballroom was beautiful. Absolutely no complaints. We had a spectacular wedding experience!

Yelp
I had been to the Hamilton Manor before for drinks in their nice basement lounge when it first opened up. This time I returned to attend a business meeting for a professional organization. The venue was OK. They put us back in the basement again since there was another function going on upstairs in the main area. The issue was that the upstairs function was very loud and there seemed to be some jumping going on since our meeting was frequently interrupted by thumping. They probably need to soundproof the rooms better if they're having multiple events. For dinner, they offered choices of beef tenderloin, chicken and eggplant rolatini. I took the eggplant which was very good. My colleagues who took the chicken were served quite a bit later. In fact, they forgot to serve some people and needed to be reminded. In summary, the food was good, the service----not so good. In fact, when the meeting was over and everyone was leaving, they brought out dessert. Of course no one was there to eat it. A small group of colleagues convened at the bar for a night cap, but was told the bar was closing at 9:00 so we needed to get a quick one and leave.

Yelp
Staff was absolutely incredible. The barn, ballroom and cocktail hour space were all beautiful and gave off different unique vibes throughout the night. The manor was unlike any other venue I have been too!

Yelp
Very poor customer service!!! I had to place 3 phone calls to schedule a time to view the venue for my bridal shower. After 2 weeks of multiple attempts to schedule an appointment via phone calls and emails, the person on the phone, Andre, was rude to me. That was more than enough evidence for me to utilize a different venue for my special event. I wouldn't waste my time.

Yelp
don't put any money down unless sure because they do not refund anything. very unprofessional joe was nasty arrogant. unfortunately I lost $5000.00 and was told he would give discount on date was supposed to use so we are paying for someone else wedding. and they are making interest on deposit. very poor customer service. would never recommend this venue Hamilton manor. beware

Yelp
Why pay thousands of dollars to be treated like shit by the owners? I've never felt so disrespected in my life, my family recently had a sweet 16 & the management was awful, they didn't know how to speak to their guest at all in a professional manner acting ignorant & rude as hell constantly nagging the guests pestering them over the smallest things. I was very disappointed in the way the Hamilton manners owners conducted themselves, never again. Wasn't worth the money or the headache. Find a better place for your party or wedding.

Yelp
I attended a wedding here this past weekend and I felt terrible that the bride and groom had to endure such horrible service on their special day. There are too many things to say about how poor the experience was, but I'll keep it as short as possible. - The non alcoholic beverages came out of the cheapest tap they could find. Cranberry juice was excessively watered down and the sodas were FLAT! (Specifically during cocktail hour) - The staff seemed noticeably irritated to be working there. (specifically bar staff. I didn't see one person with a smile on their face) - The food felt mass produced and was mediocre at best. The menu was: Chicken Parm, Beef Tenderloin and two types of pasta. I don't eat meat, so I had the eggplant parm brought especially for me, which was decent, but my fiancé had the chicken and I could see it was soggy from the tomato sauce and just looked like cafeteria food. Tiramisu was provided as a desert and was still partially frozen! I will say the wedding cake was VERY tasty. (The only real treat on the menu) Some of the dishes were severely scratched and they tried to hide this by placing other plates on top of them. Can anyone say tacky?? - The worst part of the entire event was that there was an event taking place downstairs that had extremely loud music playing with strong base that interfered SEVERELY with the reception. The most traumatic part was while the maid of honor and best man were trying to give a toast to the couple and the minister wanted to say a prayer our glasses were LITERALLY shaking from the noise in the room downstairs. There was no subtlety to it. The excessively loud music felt as though it was in our very room. This lasted for at least an hour of the reception until the party downstairs exited the building. All of the guests were affected and I can only imagine how humiliating it must have been for the bride and groom. This place seemed pretty and new, however it oozed over-priced wedding factory. I'm hoping this place makes some dramatic changes to it's service. Otherwise, I'm really hoping no one I know chooses this place as a wedding venue in the near future. Apologies this review is so negative, but it was just my experience at ONE event at this facility. It may have just been a bad day for them. Hoping so

Yelp
I recently attended a party here and felt terrible for the host and hostess. The staff here is the worst I've ever seen. The attitude they threw around was as bad as it can get and to think that it's as expensive as it is and the management isn't even bothered to handle the staff situation. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Yelp
I called for a project because I was so excited to host an event at their venue and they were absolutely 0 help to me on the, acting completely uninterested and were so rude towards me. Very upset because I attended a sweet sixteen there several years before and had higher expectations of the service.

Yelp
This place has the potential to be very good. Great location, nice atmosphere, good space, but needs some tweeking on service and attitude.

Yelp
My wedding was here, and while it was truly a special day, this venue was a HUGE disappointment for the way my guests were treated. Upon arrival into cocktail hour, my guest we're scoffed at being told cocktail hour isn't ready yet by the owner. A few guest approached me after the wedding and explained they thought it was so rude how they were spoken to. What a way to start your wedding. Then the hall told me they would ask guests what they would like for dinner even though pre determined food counts were required. The night of our wedding, waiters walked around only offering fish or beef to certain tables even though we had three other options. Some guests weren't able to get what they requested, after we specifically recommended pork to our guests. Close family told me the next day the waiters were rude about this and even said oh no you can't get the pork there's only one at this table, even though we were told guests can change their mind and there is room for error. I paid a fee per plate so my guests could eat what they want and this wasn't the case, not sure how they could get away with this. Last, we wanted to have our after party in the barn and when elderly people tried to get in without ID, including my 45 year old sister and 78 year old aunt, they weren't allowed. The bouncers were extremely rude to them. The owners kept explaining this was policy, which I would understand if my younger cousins who were pretty girls didn't just get in without ID. After the wedding, we reached out to a few people from the hall and they could truly care less I guess because they already had our money. The owners aren't nice people and this place might be pretty on the outside, but they're ugly on the inside. I'm so upset that I have to even write this review because this hall was once our favorite vendor but the truth needs to come out

Yelp
Let me be clear, my 3 stars is for the sales/customer satisfaction which is lacking. The venue is beautiful, of course, but the "2nd to none" attitude is going to their heads. I had my mother put down a small deposit to hold a wedding date because I was still searching. Living in California, planning a NJ wedding isn't easy and yes they did give us a break on the deposit because they're not total thieves. Unfortunately I did decided on another venue, smaller and more intimate. After some thought they offered to use half the deposit toward my bridal shower if I booked there. Not to mention that a major reason why I chose another place is because HM would open their Cellar doors to the public the night of our wedding, and not allow us use of the terrace...until after I opted out they put those offers on the table to win back my business but it was too late my mind was made up. After confirming a date for the bridal shower, first finding out if they had it available (which they did) we started making plans accordingly. It came down to the wire and my family was organizing everything for me only to find out HM had gone against their word and released the date! They said they "never heard back" from my parents. If that's the way you do business, then I should have scrapped them a long time ago for not "getting back to me". My parents had to scramble and find another place to host my shower. Luckily I have family that works for Paris Caterers and they hosted a beautiful day for us. I'm so glad I decided not to book HM. Regardless of aesthetics, Andre was a little pushy for my taste. I felt like I had to be on my high alert for sales tactics and a bride shouldn't have to deal with that kind of stress. They do run a beautiful venue, they need a little work on their customer service though.

Lynnea K.

Yelp
I would NEVER go back to this venue. They were extremely disrespectful to the bridal party and guests. The bartenders service was HORRIFIC not only physically but verbally as well. For instance, they said that one of the girls was "not cute enough to serve" and further said how one of the gentleman was "to dorky" to serve. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I wish I could say this was made up but this is the honest truth. Their staff went out of their way to disrespect their guests. Long story short, this place deserves NO customers and I would NOT recommend a wedding/ any event here to anyone !!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
I attended an event over the weekend at the Manor and I was honestly amazed. The food was fabulous, the servers were professional as well as knowledgeable. At the end of our party we were offered a tour which we of course took. I didn't realize how versatile the various rooms available could be, the attention to detail was unbelievable. I must say, the next party I have will be at The Hamilton Manor, no doubt.

Connie O.

Yelp
I attended a banquet and was unhappy with the service. The servers were cleaning, completely clearing our table of everything, including water glasses, you were in the middle of drinking. They would walk by and take the glass without question. When I asked the server if I could have my water back he said "No, your party's over." Apparently we went over our time and they were trying to force us out. My daughter (who was not sitting with me) said the same thing happened to her. She wondered (as a nine year old) why the server didn't tell her they were sorry they had to clean up now since the party is over prior to taking her glass she was still drinking. Very rude service.
