The Hamlet

I stayed at the Hamlet Geneva for five month in 2025. My experience was a very good one. The location is outstanding, just next to the famous historic Bourg-de-Four, and close to the St. Pierre Cathedral. The interior design is fantastic and largely personally created by a family member including distinct paintings. The staff is definitely above average, and I'd like to specially mention Anaëlle, the chief of staff, who had the overview and was in charge at any time: very friendly, kind, reliable, organized, customer centered. Also the other staff were available, and even helped with business tasks. I can whole heartedly recommend this place - six stars out of five!

We’ve stayed at The Hamlet twice with our young family, each time for two months, and every visit has felt like coming home. The team knows your name, greets you like old friends every time you walk through the door, and genuinely cares about making your stay exceptional. The accommodations are exquisite—a beautifully restored historic building in the heart of the Old Town, just steps from Place du Bourg-de-Four. Inside, everything is modern and elegant: top-of-the-line appliances, tasteful mid-century furniture, and a perfect blend of old-world architecture and contemporary comfort. The location couldn’t be better—surrounded by charming cafes, restaurants, and all the character that makes Geneva special. Whether you’re a solo traveler or a family, The Hamlet is incredibly accommodating. They go above and beyond in so many thoughtful ways—stocking your apartment with high-end snacks, drinks, and chocolates, helping with errands like dry cleaning, and even ordering specific appliances on request. One unforgettable moment: on our son’s birthday, we returned to the apartment to find balloons, a cake, and presents waiting—and we hadn’t even mentioned the occasion. That level of care is rare and speaks volumes. We can’t recommend The Hamlet highly enough. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

The Hamlet is my home away from home in Geneva and I can’t say enough about it. I have been going there since 2020, twice per year, and have tried a number of their apartments. Everything I state below has been consistently true during each and every one of my visits. Let’s start with location: in the heart of Old Town Geneva, there is no more beautiful area, amid cafes, restaurants, shops, and the Cathedral. The spaces, furnishings and amenities are excellent. You have everything you need and not one thing extra. The beds are extremely comfortable, the towels soft, the kitchen perfectly appointed. The Aesop products in the bathroom are delicious. The minimalist decor is elegant and soothing. The Square offers a wonderful common area to work, have meetings, and socialize. A fabulous Pilates instructor is available to guests, and the partnership with L’Usine is perfect for those who prefer a gym. The apartments are cleaned daily and expertly. Finally, the service is five stars. Anything you need, the Hamlet team will help you get. They are helpful, discreet, and kind.

From the moment of our booking, we were welcomed with exceptional personal service. The staff at The Hamlet contacted us prior to arrival to assist with any special requests and travel arrangements (as we were coming from Chamonix). On the day of arrival, Melody personally greeted us and provided a lovely tour of the The Square, library, and wellness space. She then escorted us to the two-bedroom townhome with views of Old Town. The apartment is luxurious and well-equipped. There is no better location in Old Town, and The Hamlet has thought of every detail to ensure an elevated experience! During our short stay, both Melody and Anaelle were extremely attentive to our requests and questions. I hope to return soon!

I was in Geneva from Miami for a meeting and had the pleasure of using the library space at The Hamlet. The atmosphere was perfect—quiet, elegant, and thoughtfully designed for focus and productivity. It truly elevated our meeting experience. The staff was outstanding—attentive, welcoming, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the day. It was an absolute pleasure working in such a well-maintained and inspiring space. Highly recommend for anyone needing a quality meeting venue in Geneva!

The Hamlet is the perfect accommodation when visiting Geneva. Located centrally in the Old Town these amazing recently renovated apartments will satisfy the most fussy guest. We had a Courtyard Prestige One Bedroom Apartment for five nights which had every feature we required. The two level design gave you a generous bedroom and bathroom on the lower level with the large upper kitchen/lounge/dining area giving you ample room and privacy. The staff were excellent, our contacts Anaëlle and Melody were extremely friendly, courteous and helpful. Restaurant and destination suggestions were perfect and greatly enjoyed by my wife and I. I must also congratulate the Housekeeping Staff who ensured our apartment was always spotless. The Hamlet certainly met all our expectations.

The Hamlet is an exceptional place to stay in old town, Geneva. The staff are amazing and go to great lengths to provide everything needed for a welcoming and wonderful stay. The amenities are excellent! The area surrounding the Hamlet is magical with beautiful streets, historic buildings, small shops and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our six nights at the Hamlet during the Christmas season!
