The Hannaford at Pike & Madison

Pretty cool dive-y style bar. One of few places in Covington open after 1am in the weekend. Good crowd, busy, fun vibes. They also have screens with sports streaming.

A very good bar in Covington, especially for happy hour. They make great cocktails and have a huge bourbon & rye selection. It's on Madison near some good restaurants, so it's great before or after dinner. There's nice seating along the windows.

A dive bar type of place with a cozy basic atmosphere. Drinks are cheap for a downtown bar in Covington KY. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is not served but several restaurants are nearby or one can bring food into the bar. Happy hour is unparalleled for it seems to cover all types of drinks. This is not the usual for places that have happy hour. Seating is ample plus space exists to stand.

Great bar to hang out with friends. Little loud, but what do you expect from a bar. I really enjoyed myself.

Cool place to enjoy a drink with a date or a few friends. I visited to have a nice bourbon cocktail while working on my laptop. I was pleased to find strong Wi-Fi connection and a bar with outlets at almost every seat. Many whiskies and liquors to choose from for a small place. The beer list is short but thoughtful and appears to change frequently. Some watch outs: The music they played was a bit too boppy than it should have been given the surroundings (for my taste), but at least it wasn’t too loud (Northern Kentucky preference?). Also, the cocktail list leaned a bit too sweet (even allowing for summer).

I'd say we had poor service, but we actually had no service. After sitting at the bar for 12 minutes, watching the bartender pour himself shots and tell stories to a couple of the 7 or 8 other people in the bar, we left. It was pitiful.

Great vibe! Loved that you can feel classy or casual.
