It’s is a good place to chilling and rest. Their service was good and fast, either we are late for check in, they still quick processing. Overall clean and feel comfortable. They place have full of plant and wood, there will be dead leaves, and traces on the wood. But that was too nice to feel, cause that’s was real and healing. Feel with your heart the creation that comes from happy 8. will come back again💕

Booking a room here was the worst decision I made. The only advantage is the location; everything else is completely lacking. The soundproofing is terrible, and a nearby restaurant had people singing until 1 or 2 a.m., with the volume so loud it felt like a concert without any control. The cleanliness is also poor. There is dust in the corners of the room, and the bedding has a musty smell and holes. The only toiletries provided were shower gel and shampoo. The WiFi is like nonexistent. There's no elevator, which is not ideal for groups without younger people (I initially didn’t think this was an issue, but with everything else being so bad, it became one). This place doesn’t even deserve to be called a three-star hotel, nor is it worth the price. At best, it’s just a conveniently located place with beds (though I wouldn’t call it a place where you can sleep, because the poor soundproofing and that damn karaoke bar kept us from getting any proper rest).

1) Location of the hotel is superb , near to tourist spot. 2) The hotel bed /mattress really too hard , not suitable for people who’s used to soft mattresses. 3) There’s a karaoke/ pub operates until 2 am + . The sound pollution really causing I only able to sleep by 2 - 3 am and wake up by 5 am due to the comfortable of the mattress. 4) Rooms facilities are insufficient for people with many luggages and families as you have to carry up your luggage up to 3rd floor 5) Service by staff is just so so , but consider passed as they at least inform on the necessary details such as after 10.30 pm they will close the gate and pass over the information.

A very nice, cozy and clean room in a beautiful building in the old town. The guy at the reception was very kind and helpful. If you come to Ipoh this is the perfect place to stay!

We got ourselves a family room with sea view, location is great plus is next to a great seafood restaurant Aircond was most welcomed but shower equipment need repair and sound proofing is non existent, worst was all family rooms are double decker and the wooden steps are steep and lack handles so I hv to almost come down facing back, lastly all our toilets are accessible by monkeys so we hv our toiletries being messed up

I had a terrible stay in the hotel. First, the bed was so HARD to lay on. I couldn't sleep the whole night because the bed was too hard. The hotel also don't have wifi or tv or even some basic necessity like shampoo like other hotels from the same price range. The only good with this hotel is the location, since it is located near to the tourist attraction. Second, the hotel is located near to a bar where people karaoke at night until 1-2 a.m., couldn't get a proper rest since it was SO LOUD. The room was also not sound proof as I CAN HEAR PEOPLE NEXT TO OUR ROOM TALKING. Thirdly, the safety of the hotel was also one of my concern. The windows are not tight. It can be simply open from the outside. Strong winds might also open the window up. No safety locks on the window, only those old types of locks which are not safety. IT IS VERY BEAUTIFUL FROM THE PICTURE BUT IT IS SO TERRIBLE WHEN YOU COME HERE TO HAVE A STAY.

Location is amazing as it is right smack in the middle of Ipoh Old Town which made a lot of the attractions within walking distance of said hotel. However, that also meant that there was loud karaoke & music playing in the nearby streets until around 2am in the morning but this is really out of the control of said boutique shoplot hotel. Water pressure was excellent & the hotel itself is filled with art. Unfortunately, the bed mattress was rather thing & hard. Pleased to report that there is a hairdryer provided in the ensuite bathroom.Due to room sound insulation and lack of mattress comfort, I shall consider other hotels in the future for future Ipoh trips (if any) for a more pleasant night's rest.
