Nice clean bedding and showers. Friendly staff. All rooms open into an open lounge. Community kitchen complete with cups & pots etc. Lovely rooftop garden and bar area. Safe parking inside the locked garage. Value for money and safe! Will visit again.

Great place to be, beautiful decor, friendly staff, beautiful views on the balcony, the area is safe (police are patrolling). The problem was wifi, there's no connection at all upstairs, its good for people who need to interact more but not for business travellers who need to check their emails. Looking forward into visiting again very soon

Had a great stay here. Nice to be in the city. Secure parking for my car 🚗 great vibe on the rooftop bar. Loads of space in the living area with the coolest decor to get up to anything. A must stay if backpacking through durban.

Is super cool hostel we're all ages are welcome. They have events happening on the rooftop during the week or weekend. They have fantastic parking. And is very affordable to visit and explore the country. I would not overlook this as it is a fantastic experience. The only sad thing is that there's so much load shedding in Durban that it gets a bit hot sometimes. But the hospitality and services provided make up for everything

This hostel is filled with families which leads to being filled with kids running around. Most rooms have no abilities to have the doors locked which was the most uncomfortable part of the stay. The main person we saw regularly that was working seemed very unwelcoming and as if she had an attitude with us the moment we knocked on the door. The other two receptionist we saw were great but seemed to be more of a back up. This place literally just feels as if your staying in a huge families house that doesn't really want you there, staring at you any time they get the chance, with a bunch of kids running around day and night. Good things is nothing was found to be missing even though we had anxiety about no locks. Also they do have a security guard that sits in the lobby once reception closes at 10. A positive thing is that it is pretty close to the beach but more on the end of where the strip ends and also very close to Shaka Marine World.

I find myself gravitating to this awesome backpackers every year I visit Durban. The accommodation is neat and tidy. A lot of traveller's seeking a peace of mind. Usually meet a lot of great people over here. There's a rooftop with good music, a laundry service and it very close to Ushaka Marine and a reliable transport system. Check it out!

It's clean, friendly, beautiful, big. BUT HAS some mosquito or insects that wouldn't quit biting. I hope it's not bed bug. Seems clean enough. i love the privacy coz it's Huge. perfect place to be a hermit. Ive never seen a more antisocial hostel ever.

Scenic views from the rooftop, excellent entertainment on offer daily and very clean toilets and area. Well priced bar and convenience of uShaka Marine less than 200m away and the beach 500m. Durban couldn't be enjoyed any better for this price!
