On the Grid : The Happy Pig

"Don’t let the name fool you — we’re not looking at a Tex-Mex restaurant, but at a very refined and conceptual one. The menu actually is as short as a haiku and is often changed. It usually contains traditional Bulgarian dishes prepared in a new and unexpected way. The same twists are applied to the exquisite cocktails menu. Food+cocktails — we’re in!" - Next Digital Creative

Atmosphere was pretty good and had English music playing and some Danish. Only thing is the dance floors are quite small and the stairs up and down are a massive hazard (the person infront’s heel kicked my drink and bruised my lip + drink all over me)

With some friend wanted to get into the bar, but the security guard first reaction was to ask us where we were from, we said Argentina, and he told us to go to Mambo (Latin Pub). It's the first time I have lived this experience in Copenhaguen. We felt discriminated. I do not recommend.

Nice place. Prices raised significantly after night pay app showed up in Copenhagen nightlife, but it's a common thing around all Copenhagen bars. Still nice place.

I visited Den Glade Gris on a Wednesday evening for a music bingo with my colleagues. It was really fun, the host was extremely welcoming and entertaining! He kept making sure that we were taken care of and having a good time.

One of the worst places I have ever been to. Only gave a 5 star so my review is visible. First we paid to get in, okay no problem. Then they forced us to pay to hang out jackets and as for me and my girlfriend, they forced us to take our light sweaters off. We did not want to take them off and had no need to, but we were forced to. When I pointed it out to the coat lady that other people were wearing jackets she sent the rude manager around to harass us. She kept coming around again and again and ONLY asking US for our jackets (even though we already took them off), and completely ignoring the other people in the bar with actual BIG jackets, some even a few feet away from her. Then to make things worse, the place was a mess and service for a drink hard to get. The floor was a mess in alot of places with employees who could care less and the bathroom had mold and pee everywhere and I will upload pics to show. Overall beyond terrible.

Violent experience with a rude security guy. He pushed me and had a very aggressive attitude. He kicked me out because I did not want to take off my jean jacket (not winter jacket) and leave it in the wardrobe. Can’t hold it in your hand either. I read other comments about security forcing people to take off jackets and light sweaters. Very silly rule if you ask me.

If you want to watch Mamchester United's game in the city this is your place. Amazing atmosphere and a lot of fans in every game. Alcohol is cheap and supporting free ;)

Google maps says it’s closed Sundays. Found out it very much wasn’t after watching the Utd game surrounded by scousers at an Irish bar. Learn from my mistake, go and check in person!
