The Happy Ranch Horse Farm

A really wonderful morning riding through the countryside, seeing Cambodian villages and visiting the temple. Our guide, Kong, was fantastic and a pleasure to talk to on the trip. The horses are well cared for and the staff are knowledgeable and very kind. We are experienced riders and horse owners in the UK and it was wonderful to experience this in Cambodia.

Awesome experience for my whole family!!! The ranch was clean and the horses were well kept and look happy. Staff were very helpful, we felt safe throughout the 1 hr ride. Highly recommend to try even if you have no prior experience.

Horses are very well cared for. Watched them tack up and check the horses girth wasn’t pinching and every horse was in a snaffle. They genuinely care for the horses here. After the ride each horse was gently hosed, groomed and hoofs cleaned. No complaints regarding welfare that we could see. Our guide was kind and took care of my less experienced son, teaching him trot and balance better (as he doesn’t listen to me). If you can truly ride then you can trot/canter. As an ex trekking guide I know many clients say they can ride but once on the horse are a liability due to lack of skill. This company cares about their horses and don’t accommodate tourists wanting a faster ride and causing accidents due to poor riding. A++ all around. Sadly the ranch had been surrounded by development over the years and the quaint urban area has swallowed the ranch. Still lovely trails once through the roads.

Pleasant 3 hour ride in and around Siem Reap. Well kept and behaved horses. Highly recommend checking out The Happy Horse ranch.

I absolutely loved my 2h ride, especially thanks to my guide Keng. He was really nice and spoke good English. He made an effort to explain about the surroundings, support me with my horse riding and also take a few pictures/videos of me riding. The rice fields and lotus fields are stunning and I really enjoyed being able to trot with my horse. 🩵

They were really good with supporting the non-riders in our group. The farm facilities are amazing and people that care for the horses clearly look after them to an exceptionally high level.

Did the 3h country trail ride with beautiful and well cared horses. The staff are friendly and experienced. Along the ride we went passed villages, rice paddy fields, and a temple complex, while the staff shared with us some things about Cambodian village life. It was a joy to see many young children waving to us excitedly (and dogs). The ride is suitable for complete beginners like myself. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap. A time well spent as the experience was therapeutic. Kudos to the staff and beautiful horses for the ride , thank you :)

Booked a 2 hour ride it was just amazing. Beautiful ranch with well looked after horses and ponies. My guide was King, he was absolutely amazing! He made it such an unforgettable experience so thank you! Good value for money and kindly organised transfer (additional fee) for me their and back. Really recommend this place, more people need to know about it!
