The Happy Wombat

Very nice place to have breakfast. We ordered eggs, bacon and egg roll and pancakes. The google reviews were excellent so we come to check it out and it was really tasty and delicious. Coffees were also good flavour. The local is clean and spacious with plenty of room and tables

A lovely one-hour wait for a subpar overpriced breakfast at a cafe with approx 70% capacity. The cups we were given to drink water with were filthy, I had to rinse and clean the cups before use. Cherry on top, we had our little dashund pup and were told we could only sit outside, the indoor area wasn't dog friendly. Next minute, a couple with an adult labrador sit inside AND they get their food way before we received ours. Staff doesn't seem to be coordinated and management is obviously not heavily involved in maintaining any standards. I wouldn't recommend, or go back.

Luke and his team are fabulous. Super tasty restaurant quality food in a relaxed welcoming environment. Yum wholesome menu including the classics done well. Great for breakfast time, lunch and dinner (no easy feat!) And the coffee is banging. But it’s the staff that are the star! Great work Ruby, Jodie, Emika, Kate & Georgia And the crew. I’ll be back.

The Happy Wombat was great! The service was five star, the wait staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely come back and we will definitely recommend The Happy Wombat to others! The restaurant is very clean with plenty of space so you don’t feel crowded.

The name says it all - Happy. The restaurant is for family to have a great meal together or colleagues to share social drinks together. Perfect place. You will find plenty of statue wombats around the restaurant. Your dog may have a place at the front with it own bowel as well. Understandably, the restaurant is very busy with limited wait staff, you got to be patient. If waited for too long for someone to find you a seat then just find the seat yourself. The staff are very friendly so they don't mind you make yourself comfortable. I was disappointed a little on the limited range of food available. Especially, not much choices available for vegans. However, the disappointment did not last long. The peri peri chicken pizza was full of flavour and very filling. For a non-meat lover to enjoy this pizza then it got to be great. Especially today's special is all pizzas for $17 each! The saving from the pizza covered for the overly priced juice. The overly priced juices is my only issue but then again it's a minor issue.

oh my goodness! is all we could say the whole way through my birthday dinner! best experience ever, the food was absolutely amazing, i would honestly have to say it was top 3 on my best meals ever list! especially recommend getting the honeycomb baked brie 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Mouth watering food tonight and every time. As always, you get what you pay for, and our meals were all delicious. Portion sizes were perfect. 👌🏽 love this place, would like to see a tweak to the menu to see what other fabulous meals the chefs can come up with because everything they put on the plate is amazing. Never any left overs..,

Came in for lunch with the family, plenty of space and quickly attended seated. Cocktails were lovely, coffee was decent. Kids loved the milkshakes, even when they got the wrong flavour, we were given an extra one to compensate. Friendly staff, good food, convenient location.
