This hotel is located in city centre so all shops and restaurants are very close, there is no need in car cause you can walk everywhere you need. Parking though is a bit far so just be aware. Rooms are very nice and cozy, I think they have some renovations done, so it did look very fancy. Carpet floors are a bit dusty though, especially behind the chairs and bedside tables. We had breakfast included and we really enjoyed that. Food was lovely, big choice of option, great service. Stuff was very friendly and polite. But we were disappointed with stuff at the desk, and not once but twice. During checking in and out we had experience with unpleasant and mean stuff. I hope they just had bad day and they are not treating all guests like this. First and last experience is very important. Unfortunately our wasn’t the best!

Stayed there for one night in a twin room, room was very spacious, modern decor, bed very comfortable, breakfast very good, table service provided for the breakfast, table very well laid out. Hotel is very well located in the heart of the city. Located in Eyre Square, parking nearby with a discount because being a guest of the hotel. Galway is a beautiful city.

We loved our stay in Galway and the Hardiman was at the center of everything. Our room was lovely and our sons was real old world. The breakfast was never ending but the best part was the people. Everyone from the desk to housekeeping was so welcoming. This hotel is centrally located in town a short walk to parking and good room rates to boot. We will be back.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and of course it was beautiful and everyone was sweet. Alex, working at the time in the bar of MacNeill's I think it is called which is connected to the hotel, and Jordan her manager truly made our trip though and helped us improve our experience in Galway all together. They engaged in great conversation and helped us get in connection with a tour guide for the cliffs of Moher. They made us feel so special giving us drink suggestions and filling us with personal experiences living in Ireland for which we were eager to hear. From then on, every time we saw them, they greeted us with warm smiles and conversation, even going as far as to directly help us with breakfast and such. I would stay at this hotel again just to see my two new bffs again! They rocked.

Excellent location! The room service was excellent and the rooms were Fantastic and lovely decorated!! Would definitely recommend on staying here. The only negative I would say I experienced was the “four course meal” food portions were very small and disappointing, However, Mac Neil’s downstairs was amazing the staff were so lovely and the food even better!

Had an amazing experience today in this hotel. We brought a large group of senior citizens from our community to Galway for the Christmas Markets. The hotel was out base for our Christmas lunch and they were incredible. The food was absolutely beautiful and the service from the staff was spot on. They were all really nice and very accommodating. Would highly recommend for a group booking.

I was a bit nervous having read reviews previous to our arrival .....We had a fabulous experience !! We arrived ( all 20 +) on a bus earlier than check in on Dec.26, everything ran smoothly and everyone was promptly in their room. I am pretty sure the Hardiman had 5 weddings in 5 nights !! Yes, there were a few little bumps like shutting down a bar because of plumbing issue, but that was resolved and opened the next day. The breakfast is lovely you are greeted with a smile, hot coffee and an irish breakfast. the atmosphere is so relaxed and lovely.....you can find a perfect spot to have tea and read or have a drink and chat. The rooms are a bit smaller than expected but the location to everything is great ! Great experience during a busy time of year ! Cheers

The Quality of the food on offer has brought down our review to three stars. Otherwise, the hotel is in a very good location with excellent staff and the food is nicely presented. Galway is a lovely city to visit with lots of crack in the pubs.
