This place was suuuuper nice! And real fancy! I'm not normally one that feels comfortable in classy, high end establishments - but everyone was so nice, welcoming, and friendly. And the room was the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in! It was so nice! Now, I'm like, dang I could get used to this! I loved it! And now I want to put fancy chairs in my office, I want fancy tea, and I want a robe like they had for me in my room - I loved it! I'm a real fancy man now thanks to the Hardiman! Haha! Next time I'm in Galway I won't stay anywhere else!

I had a wonderful stay at the Hardiman Hotel for business / pleasure. The hotel is very well located with major Galway attractions being very walkable. I had a standard double room which was very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very large. The room does not have a fridge or AC. We visited in September so the temperature ranged from the high 30s to 50s and the room actually felt toasty at night. The hotel staff were friendly and very nice - our room was not ready when we arrived prior check in so they brought our bags up to our room for us. Our room rate included breakfast which was decent - there was a buffet and you could order a few items from the kitchen. If you are very sensitive to noise, you may not like this hotel. We would hear footsteps above us. However, I would definitely recommend staying at the Hardiman.

I've stayed at The Hardiman several times over past few years and it never disappoints. Great location, food is excellent, as is the service. |For an extra treat, i prefer the well-proportioned deluxe doubles overlooking Eyre Square.

We stayed at the Hardiman for our 2 nights in Galway City, the 7th and 8th of October. The hotel is well-located in the center of the city and has an excellent arrangement with the nearby Hynes Garage for customers who prefer self-parking...€11 vs €30 for valet. The staff are friendly and professional, the lobby is lovely. The room we had lacked air-conditioing(known in advance)...the switches and plugs were a mystery, not so uncommon in older hotels...so which switch to turn off the heated towel rack or the overhead light...hmmm. The room itself had less than comfortable twin beds, pillows and comforters...the bathroom tub/shower a bit risky...Overall the room was well-underlit, and lacking **** credentials.

We really enjoyed our stay. As a family of four, our room was easily the best family hotel room we’ve had, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was superb too.

The Hardiman is a beautiful and historic hotel that offers both comfort and convenience right in the heart of Galway. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and designed with comfort in mind, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. A generous breakfast is included, with plenty of delicious options to start the morning off right. What really sets The Hardiman apart is its excellent service—the staff are warm, attentive, and always happy to help. We especially loved the cappuccinos, which became a highlight of our mornings. The hotel’s central location makes it the perfect base for enjoying everything Galway has to offer, from shopping and dining to exploring the city’s vibrant culture. A wonderful stay all around!

It was a special trip w my daughters and tho not originally assigned you were able to put our rooms across the hall from each other. It was so convenient and helpful to me. Suggestion. Please have a bottle opener available upon request. We had a special bottle of champagne to celebrate our outing but an opener was hard to come by. Thank you for all you did to accommodate us.

Beautiful location, stunning room, but the service at the Gaslight Brasserie was awful. As a qualified industry professional. The Catch of the day was frozen. The chef loves to throw salt into everything, including Salad !!!. There is a lack of management, and it shows. Apparently, there was a concierge, but we never saw them. We were overcharged for meals, parking and other items we did not have. When we checked our bill, we found over 200 euros had to be deducted. Nothing would bring me back. A 4 1/2 hours drive to get there, and it was wasted. It was our anniversary, and it was ruined.
