The Hari Hong Kong (Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Hong Kong’s vibrant energy is intoxicating but everyone wants a little downtime, and for that, The Hari is perfect. The hotel’s location in Causeway Bay and Wan Chan means it’s close to the action, but inside, it’s restful refinement at its best. The 210 rooms, including three suites, are polished sanctuaries, courtesy of the sharp eye of interior designer Tara Bernerd. Wood paneling, linen wallcoverings, and stylish furnishings create warm and inviting spaces, while windows frame views of the iconic skyline just outside. And while there are certainly plenty of places just steps away, the hotel’s two restaurants and two hip hangouts might just convince you to never leave." - Tablet Hotels

We were able to stay at The Hari for 5 nights earlier this January, and really enjoyed our stay. We found the service friendly and professional - particular call outs are the team at breakfast at Luciano's, the dinner staff at Zoku one night, and the housekeeping staff. The rooms are a generous size for a modern HK hotel - though I will say that the toilet cubicle is on the small side. We liked the glass separator doors that separate the bedroom and the bathroom, and speaking of the bathroom, the Hari's rooms have probably the best shower in any hotel we've ever stayed in. The bed is comfortable, the sheets are in great condition, clean and crisp, and the towels are generous in size. There are separate A/C zones for the bedroom and the bathroom/entry area, and the rooms are well lit. And the rooms are *quiet*. Our kids were in the next room, and do like to play their music. We could not hear their music at all. Our rooms were also right near the lift lobby, and the room doors are very thick and solid, so I did not notice any noise from people going to or from their rooms on our floor. The hotel's location is excellent. Short walks to the harbour-front, a block away from Hennessy Rd. Central and Causeway Bay are also short walks away. We will definitely come back to The Hari on our next visit to Hong Kong.

We stayed two nights at the Hari when we broke out journey to New Zealand. The concierge staff made a great first impression, which was quickly reinforced by the check in experience. The room was compact but well appointed, and the bed comfortable with premium linen. The shower pressure was great. The hotel is centrally located in Wan Chai with easy access to public transport, including the iconic Star ferry for cross harbour trips. Breakfast was great. We ate in the Lucciola restaurant one evening and thought the steak was excellent, although the lobster tail and prawn sauce spaghetti was a little disappointing. The hotel is great value and has a great vibe, we would definitely stay here again if we travel through Hong Kong.

We stayed in the Hari suite for almost two weeks and it was a first class experience. The service was seamlessly tailored from the start to the end. Everyday was like a pleasant little surprise. Thank you so much for the hotel and the team who truly welcomed us. Although the hotel was conveniently located in the very city centre, it was very quiet in the suite. I liked it had a small sink in the kitchen which was rare for a hotel suite. And the view from the huge beautiful terrace(having a terrace is extremely rare for a hotel room in HK as well) was stunning. You can have both of the sea view and the city view. The sky darkened, lights illuminated, I was literally soaked into the Hong Kong’s famous electric vibe. The suite itself was spacious, clean, and tasteful. We’ll definitely choose this place again when we visit HK in the future. Only a drawback was that the in room dining choices for lunch and dinner were somewhat limited. But it wasn't a big problem since there were so many restaurants in the area.

We stayed four nights at the Hari Hotel in Hong Kong and we had a great experience. The staff was always welcoming and attentive. The room, a premium corner room on the 19th floor was very stylish, clean and with a lovely view. The location is excellent, in between two metro stations and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping areas in Wan Chai and Causeway Bay. First night at the Hari we had dinner at Zoku and it was a wonderful experience! The ambience, the food and the staff was really amazing. I highly recommend it.

Just checked out after a 2 week stay here. WOW - the service was one of the best experiences we have ever had in a hotel. Staff were attentive and quick and all happy. The rooms on the small side (that’s HK) but super clean. Daily housekeeping, fresh towels etc. couldn’t have asked for anything else. I’d stay here again.

Tje bed was very comfortable, particularly because of the high quality bedding and pillows. The gym was clean and came eith all the latest technogym equipment anyone serious needs.

A Truly Wonderful Stay at The Hari Hong Kong Staying at The Hari Hong Kong was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is beautifully designed — refined, chic, and styled with such taste that it feels like stepping onto a Vogue photoshoot set. The warm, kind, and discreet welcome from the receptionist made all the difference. After a 14-hour flight, he immediately understood how tired I was and kindly arranged a room so I could rest right away — an invaluable gesture that I deeply appreciated. Breakfast was simply fantastic — every morning, a true feast for the senses. The Hari has definitely earned a place on my personal top list of hotels to return to during my business trips. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

The Hari Hotel is a fantastic 5 star hotel that truly lives up to it's reputation. The room was amazing with lovely city views. Although I did not try the restaurant food on this trip. I will be using the Hari as a base for any future visits in the future. 5 star quality like that of your more upscale places but more affordable. With both tram and MTR stations no more than 5 minutes away, getting around Hong Kong was very easy and as a first time visitor to Hong Kong extremely convenient. I loved everything about The Hari and will definitely be coming back again.
