The Harmonie Vienna, BW Premier Collection by Best Western

Harmonie Vienna was the absolute best. Incredibly friendly staff and lovely hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming lady on reception whose entire demeanour was professional, helpful and appreciative of our business. Every staff interaction over the following 4 days was the same. The hotel is impeccably clean, ideally located, tastefully decorated and full of finishing touches in the rooms that make for a perfect stay. The complimentary afternoon tea from 3-6 is a special touch that allows for a break in sightseeing and welcome relaxation in the comfortable lounge. The breakfast is fresh with plenty of options and service during breakfast was also exceptional. Highly recommend The Harmonie Vienna and would definitely stay there again.

We have travelled to 10-12 major countries in Europe and this was by far the best hotel in Europe(great value for money). We will definitely stay in the same hotel if we visit Vienna again. The breakfast(included in the price) was very tasty and had lot of variety. The staff at the breakfast area and at the reception was very friendly. The person at the reception even loaded my luggage in the van when departing the hotel for the airport and he had also fixed an electrical issue in the room within 10 minutes of reporting it. The location is also great - in a quiet street but at the same time within 15 minute walking distance to the city center. Also has few decent restaurants within walking distance. They also serve free pastries and Tea every day from 2/3pm to 6pm and the pastries were very tasty. Strongly recommend this hotel in Vienna.

The hotel itself was beautiful and excelled in service - from the lovely afternoon tea and cakes reception to speedy help with all our requests. Someone even helped us arrange breakfast boxes to go and book a last-minute day tour after our previously booked tour fell apart. You can also buy public transportation tickets right from the front desk staff. The breakfast buffet was just phenomenal, with attentive table service for custom coffees. Standard room was rather small with no particular view to speak of, but nicely and efficiently laid out and quiet. Very cute.The bathtub was unusually narrow - injured myself against the faucet getting out of it- and there was no bidet which I was surprised not to see in a nicer Austrian hotel, otherwise it had the convenience of both a tub and shower, good lighting and the heated towel racks were a nice touch. We had initial issues with our iron misfunctioning, found the door a little difficult to shut/lock completely (you had to pull shut hard so we accidentally left it ajar one night) and found the room service menu limited and a bit eclectic, but that’s really the only critique we had. The location is quiet and safe, largely residential with a few little restaurants, pharmacy and grocery store a short walk away. It was about a 10-12 minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn station, which was a bit of a drag after a long day of walking, but manageable. Only a few stops away from the heart of Vienna. The hotel itself is on a narrow one way street, which I thought might be an issue with unloading and loading luggage, but it was fine, being a more quiet street tucked into a neighborhood. Overall, great value for our money, with attentive staff really working hard to ensure a good experience for guests. With the proximity to transportation being my only hesitation, I would absolutely stay at this hidden gem again!

Lovely hotel situated in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was immaculate and the housekeeping team were very thorough. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choice which set us up for the day. We booked a transfer from/to the airport through the hotel for €60 and this made things a lot easier. All the staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna for a short break.

We really enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. Location is pretty good - within walking distance of some of the best attractions, and also in a quirky neighbourhood that is worth exploring for a few hours.||Breakfast is super. Quite a small buffet but the quality is evident. ||Staff are great. Had a super conversation with the two folks on reception at the time we checked in - trying to find the best patisserie in town (clue it’s definitely not Hotel Sacher). ||If there’s a downside, the bathroom / shower was a bit dated. I really don’t like an over-bath and there was so much room there was no need for it, could easily have had a walk in shower.

Excellent location in the university area, fairly quiet; the room was very quiet, despite being close to the elevator. Comfortable bed, very spacious and comfortable room, excellent cleanliness. But the real highlight is the reception staff, always very helpful. In this regard, Ms. Sarolta deserves special mention, as she was extremely professional, courteous, and available to accommodate my every need throughout my stay.||I have just a point regarding the shower in the tub, but that's only my preference. Furthermore, the breakfast is certainly generous, but the buffet space is a bit small, and during busy periods, it can be difficult to access. But take this only as a spark, not undermining my stay.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet street but within easy reach of the city centre. A very warm welcome on our arrival and the lady on the desk gave us lots of information both about the hotel and how to get around the city. Everyone working on the hotel were extremely pleasant and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Our room was lovely and included a sofa for relaxation although we were out so much that we didn’t really use it much. If I was to level one criticism it’s that the breakfast area where the food was displayed was a little bit cramped, especially if using the toaster. |A special treat was the complimentary tea and cakes in the afternoons. |I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to visit Vienna and would book in again if we returned to the city.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Harmonie Vienna. The accommodation is of a very high standard, with comfortable rooms and an excellent selection available on their breakfast buffet offering. We found the staff to be particularly accommodating, helpful and very friendly. There were a few little disappointments, for example, to shower, one must step in to the bath, which we would suggest would not be the choice of elderly guests. Also, for those who might enjoy the odd night in, there is not an evening dinner offer. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay in beautiful Vienna and we can recommend the Harmonie hotel, it facilities and its excellent staff as a great location from which to enjoy the delights of the City..

The Harmonia Vienna is among the very best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The service and professionalism of the staff put them right at the top with other fine hotels I have visited. Over and over again they did their utmost to find us info, make restaurant recommendations, prepare a breakfast to go for us on an early morning departure...they were unrelenting in their excellence. The location is roughly a kilometer walk from central Vienna in a quiet mostly residential area. Rooms were nicely decorated and the bathroom was good sized. On my next visit to Vienna I probably won't consider staying anywhere else. I also feel the need to single out front desk employee Georg who personally assisted us several times and set the tone for our stay when we checked in. Der Service und die Professionalität der Angestellten haben sie mit anderen Hotels, die ich besucht habe, an die Spitze gebracht. Immer und immer wieder taten sie ihr Bestes, um uns Informationen zu finden, Restaurantempfehlungen zu machen, ein Frühstück zu kochen, das uns am frühen Morgen abholte ... sie waren unerbittlich in ihrer Exzellenz. Die Lage ist ungefähr einen Kilometer vom Zentrum Wiens entfernt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet und das Badezimmer hatte eine gute Größe. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Wien werde ich wahrscheinlich nicht in Betracht ziehen, woanders zu übernachten. Ich empfinde es auch als notwendig, den Rezeptionisten Georg, der uns persönlich mehrmals unterstützt hat, herauszustellen und den Ton für unseren Aufenthalt festzulegen, als wir eingecheckt haben. Just wanted to take the time to write a quick update on this Hotel which has some the friendliest and helpful staff of any hotel we have stayed at. We had stayed here a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so choosing The Harmonie again was an easy decision. The hotel is situated a little out of the center but the neighborhood is quiet and away from the hectic pace in the center. Also the transportation system in Vienna is excellent, the tram stop is just a two minute walk away. From there you can get anywhere in the city. The Hotel rooms and bathrooms are good size, very clean and well appointed. WIFI is free and fast. There is afternoon tea and a snack available, you may take this for granted, Don't because after a day of walking and sightseeing the afternoon tea and cake was something to look forward to. What sets the Harmonie apart is the friendly and helpful staff who help with everything, questions on transportation, sights, dining, customs, maps, you name it and the staff will take the time to help. We hope to visit Vienna again (our favorite city in Europe) and for sure we will be staying at The Harmonie!

Giving the slant to 5 stars. Staff was Excellent from reception, room stewards, to buffet staff. On par with Japan service. Paid for a suite but modest by suite standards but price was reasonable. Breakfast was good with self serve buffet which included prosecco and fresh made juices. I used the gym which was very small but not common among many hotels in the area.

Our stay at The Harmonie was perfect. We asked for a room with a bath, and we got it. The room was lovely and very clean. Three minute walk to the tram that takes you to everything like the art history museum and the biggest shopping street. The whole area is beautiful and quiet. The people working at the front desk gave us great tips for food and helped us with all questions. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and varied. We had to leave early to go to the airport and the amazing staff opened the breakfast earlier for us. That is good service!!! Loads of great restaurants immediate vicinity. This is the perfect hotel for a long weekend in Vienna, and I'm quite picky too be honest.

It gives us great pleasure to hop on the happy wagon about this hotel and its truly superior staff. The staff is amongst the best we have had the pleasure of interacting with anywhere in the world. Stefan stands out as "concierge exceptional!" Marvelous breakfast each morning, tea and cake in the afternoon, and lots of other perks. Could not pay this price for better. We read reviews on lots of sites before booking this hotel and the rave reviews were all 100% accurate. Well done Harmonie Wein!!!!

A really great small motel off the beaten path in Vienna but still convenient to the center of the city and most attractions. My room was modern, spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent a/c in the heat of the Viennese summer. Breakfast was awesome, with an amazing variety of food items, all fresh and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and responsive. When I got there from the airport, it seemed that the hotel was not convenient and I was going to change to a closer-in place. But the tram and the bus were right up the street, and I liked the quiet ambience of the residential neighborhood.

Nice, quiet, well appointed rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! Not too far from the the hustle and bustle, with decent restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there on my next visit. A real value!

Stayed here recently for a business trip, 3 nights. Rooms and facilities are modern, clean and I would rate the hotel as one of the best I've stayed in. The staff are very nice and welcoming and happy to help with any questions you have about the area. The location is perfect and on a nice quiet street so you get a good nights sleep yet you are within walking distance or short train/tram ride to all the major attractions/restaurants/etc. If coming back to Vienna for a personal stay I will be booking this hotel.
