The Harmonie Vienna, BW Premier Collection by Best Western

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel, which features stunning interior design throughout. Our superior room was spacious, comfortable, and a perfect retreat—especially during a heatwave, when the excellent air conditioning and high-quality blackout blinds made all the difference.||Breakfast was absolutely delicious each morning. The breakfast staff were always incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist us. They were consistently friendly, cheerful, and smiling—such a lovely way to start the day.||The reception staff were also fantastic—always happy to help with booking taxis, providing directions, and offering general assistance whenever we needed it. Their friendly and professional approach made everything easy and stress-free.||Housekeeping was first class. Our cleaner kept the room spotless each day and even went out of her way to tidy up after us—something we truly appreciated.|Another delightful touch was the complimentary tea and cake served each afternoon, which added a warm and welcoming charm to our stay.|Highly recommended for both comfort and exceptional hospitality!

I recently stayed with my family at The Harmonie Vienna, BW Premier Collection, and we had a truly wonderful experience. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day, with fresh towels provided daily. Breakfast was a real highlight, with the selection changing each morning so there was always something different to look forward to. The staff were exceptional – warm, friendly, and always happy to help, which made us feel right at home. The location was perfect too: close enough to easily explore Vienna, yet in a peaceful area for a good night’s rest. We’d gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Harmonie Vienna. The accommodation is of a very high standard, with comfortable rooms and an excellent selection available on their breakfast buffet offering. We found the staff to be particularly accommodating, helpful and very friendly. There were a few little disappointments, for example, to shower, one must step in to the bath, which we would suggest would not be the choice of elderly guests. Also, for those who might enjoy the odd night in, there is not an evening dinner offer. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay in beautiful Vienna and we can recommend the Harmonie hotel, it facilities and its excellent staff as a great location from which to enjoy the delights of the City..

Wonderful hotel that is comfortable, welcoming, great service, and a delicious breakfast! We also love the location near Lichtenstein park and some great restaurants. You don’t feel crowded by tourists. We’ve stayed there for 3 summers in a row and will definitely go back again.

Short story - this is a lovely hotel, which feels like a home from home. We would like to return to Vienna in the future (not during an August heatwave!) and we absolutely would book the Harmonie again without any hesitation.|Here's the full details - where we highlight points of improvement, these are very minor and do not diminish from our 5 star review.|The Harmonie is a beautiful hotel on a very quiet side road. We stayed in one of the superior double rooms, which was very well apportioned, with good floor space, cupboard space and good sized bathroom. The windows had good blackout curtains and electronically operated shutters, which ensured a very dark room for sleeping. The air conditioning is robust and kept the room very comfortable in spite of very high daytime temperatures when we visited. There is a pillow menu as well, which we completely forgot about until the day before check out, so didn't have an opportunity to try out.|We made use of the gym and the hotel bar. The gym is small in line with the size of the hotel, but has the equipment required for a solid workout. The hotel bar was decorated nicely, however the ambiance of the bar area definitely could have been improved by the use of some gentle background music, particularly in the evening. The drinks were reasonably priced and there was a good selection. The hotel also offers free coffee and cake in the bar area in mid-afternoon every day; a nice touch which we made use of once, it was self service with a range of teas and cakes, which were nice, however for such a coffee focused city, the coffee being instant coffee sachets was a touch underwhelming (incidentally it was above average by the standards of instants, but nowhere near as good as coffee pods), but still an extra perk most hotels don't offer, so still overall a strong positive.|The breakfast selection was good and quality was good, and included smoked salmon, kombucha and sparkling wine, something we generally associate more with a five star hotel, rather than four star. The buffet area is a little tight, especially on the weekend at the peak time, so do expect some queuing if you are going to have breakfast at 9.30 on a Saturday! On quieter days, you could also order some made to order items from the table as well.|Customer service was relentlessly excellent with every member of staff we came into contact with. The gentleman who checked us in was so informative, giving excellent advice as first time visitors to Vienna. |Finally, in terms of location, the hotel is very close to a tram stop and bus stop. The tram takes you into the centre of the city. It's a short tram journey to link up to the metro system and connections between different public transport systems is very straightforward. Alternatively it's about a 25 minute, mostly flat walk into the city centre.|As stated at the start, this is an excellent hotel, which I would absolutely return to on a future trip to Vienna

This was the finest hotel we stayed at on our recent trip to Europe. Our room was very clean. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and the afternoon tea and cakes was a wonderful added touch. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood yet we were an easy walk to the Vienna city center and museum quarter. Plus we could catch a tram two blocks away. I said when we left that I’d like to live in this hotel, it’s that good.

From the moment we checked in, every single member of staff made us feel incredibly welcome with warm smiles, genuine friendliness, and that personal touch that makes all the difference.||From check in to breakfast service, and even returning after a full day out to find our room spotlessly clean, the attention to detail was top notch.||The hotel is just a short walk from the U2 station Schottentor (currently closed at the time of our stay). We instead enjoyed a pleasant 10 minute walk to Schottenring main station. You could take the tram, but honestly, walking helps work off that amazing breakfast.||Speaking of breakfast… wow. The choice is unbelievable, with something for every taste, and endless jugs of freshly brewed coffee brought straight to your table. Not mentioning the FREE afternoon tea with endless cake and tea!||A truly excellent stay and we will definitely be back.

Very nice hotel with excellent service. A little outside the center of town but important sites were easily accessible via public transportation. Front desk service exceptional. Rooms were clean and modern, but I found them a little small with limited room to store clothes. Bathroom was clean and modern although I found the bathtub/shower a little narrow and uncomfortable. I would stay at this hotel again. I thought it was an excellent value.

The Harmonia Vienna is among the very best hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The service and professionalism of the staff put them right at the top with other fine hotels I have visited. Over and over again they did their utmost to find us info, make restaurant recommendations, prepare a breakfast to go for us on an early morning departure...they were unrelenting in their excellence. The location is roughly a kilometer walk from central Vienna in a quiet mostly residential area. Rooms were nicely decorated and the bathroom was good sized. On my next visit to Vienna I probably won't consider staying anywhere else. I also feel the need to single out front desk employee Georg who personally assisted us several times and set the tone for our stay when we checked in. Der Service und die Professionalität der Angestellten haben sie mit anderen Hotels, die ich besucht habe, an die Spitze gebracht. Die Lage ist ungefähr einen Kilometer vom Zentrum Wiens entfernt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet und das Badezimmer hatte eine gute Größe. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Wien werde ich wahrscheinlich nicht in Betracht ziehen, woanders zu übernachten. Ich empfinde es auch als notwendig, den Rezeptionisten Georg, der uns persönlich mehrmals unterstützt hat, herauszustellen und den Ton für unseren Aufenthalt festzulegen, als wir eingecheckt haben. Just wanted to take the time to write a quick update on this Hotel which has some the friendliest and helpful staff of any hotel we have stayed at. We had stayed here a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it so choosing The Harmonie again was an easy decision. The hotel is situated a little out of the center but the neighborhood is quiet and away from the hectic pace in the center. Also the transportation system in Vienna is excellent, the tram stop is just a two minute walk away. From there you can get anywhere in the city. The Hotel rooms and bathrooms are good size, very clean and well appointed. WIFI is free and fast. There is afternoon tea and a snack available, you may take this for granted, Don't because after a day of walking and sightseeing the afternoon tea and cake was something to look forward to. What sets the Harmonie apart is the friendly and helpful staff who help with everything, questions on transportation, sights, dining, customs, maps, you name it and the staff will take the time to help. We hope to visit Vienna again (our favorite city in Europe) and for sure we will be staying at The Harmonie!

Giving the slant to 5 stars. Staff was Excellent from reception, room stewards, to buffet staff. On par with Japan service. Paid for a suite but modest by suite standards but price was reasonable. Breakfast was good with self serve buffet which included prosecco and fresh made juices. I used the gym which was very small but not common among many hotels in the area.

Our stay at The Harmonie was perfect. We asked for a room with a bath, and we got it. The room was lovely and very clean. Three minute walk to the tram that takes you to everything like the art history museum and the biggest shopping street. The whole area is beautiful and quiet. The people working at the front desk gave us great tips for food and helped us with all questions. The breakfast was delicious, healthy and varied. We had to leave early to go to the airport and the amazing staff opened the breakfast earlier for us. That is good service!!! Loads of great restaurants immediate vicinity. This is the perfect hotel for a long weekend in Vienna, and I'm quite picky too be honest.

It gives us great pleasure to hop on the happy wagon about this hotel and its truly superior staff. The staff is amongst the best we have had the pleasure of interacting with anywhere in the world. Stefan stands out as "concierge exceptional!" Marvelous breakfast each morning, tea and cake in the afternoon, and lots of other perks. Could not pay this price for better. We read reviews on lots of sites before booking this hotel and the rave reviews were all 100% accurate. Well done Harmonie Wein!!!!

A really great small motel off the beaten path in Vienna but still convenient to the center of the city and most attractions. My room was modern, spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent a/c in the heat of the Viennese summer. Breakfast was awesome, with an amazing variety of food items, all fresh and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and responsive. When I got there from the airport, it seemed that the hotel was not convenient and I was going to change to a closer-in place. But the tram and the bus were right up the street, and I liked the quiet ambience of the residential neighborhood.

Nice, quiet, well appointed rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! Not too far from the the hustle and bustle, with decent restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay there on my next visit. A real value!

Stayed here recently for a business trip, 3 nights. Rooms and facilities are modern, clean and I would rate the hotel as one of the best I've stayed in. The staff are very nice and welcoming and happy to help with any questions you have about the area. The location is perfect and on a nice quiet street so you get a good nights sleep yet you are within walking distance or short train/tram ride to all the major attractions/restaurants/etc. If coming back to Vienna for a personal stay I will be booking this hotel.
