The Harrison is good. Not spectacular, but really good. A great spot for a date. The service was excellent the first time I went, so-so the second time. The space was very comfortable. Good wine list, too. A good place to take family who are here from out of town that are perhaps not incredibly adventurous eaters, but appreciate good food.

There is a new chef at the Harrison and the food was out of this world. The arctic char was ridiculously delicious, perfectly cooked, melted away in your mouth but with a crispy skin, and a sauce you want to lick off the plate. We eat out in the city all the time and were really impressed. The bread is great, the olive oil was grassy and delish, a little dish of raw yellowtail was mouthwatering. The waiter was the perfect combination of attentive without being even remotely annoying, and put up with special service requests utterly gracefully. My one complaint is that I think the hostess should have worn something a little more expensive. When your front desk is wearing a $12 shift and flats it kind of puts the wrong message out there. The man at the front desk looked great in a suit and tie. I feel bad saying this because she's probably not paid enough to dress well; the restaurant should just buy her a simple black dress.

Great local spot. Bartending staff is friendly. Can get crowded, but the bar is comfortable for a meal. Outdoors seating is perfect during warm months. Rumor is it they're closing. Food has been a letdown of late.

I can't believe I had never heard about this place! The drinks were great and while waiting for a friend I got to try toasted nuts at the bar, which were very tasty. The ambiance was very warm, inviting and vibrant. The food is to die for. We cleaned the plate of everything I have. Definitely take server suggestions, they know what they're talking about. I definitely recommend this place!

This elegant restaurant has a very fast and friendly service. Very relax ambiance and kind people. The prices are a little high, but the quality compensated. We tried the eggs benedic and the mediterranean breakfast and both were delicious.

At The Harrison the food is done right. The dinner restaurant week menu has an amazing selection. The Chilled Corn Soup was a fresh and flavorful dish. It was given a light smokey flavor courtesy of the smoked trout. The Crispy Pork Belly was delicious and surprisingly cold dish that was absolutely different. The pork belly was amongst pieces of watermelon and vibrant cilantro. For the second course, the Almond Crusted Bluefish was a buttery and rich masterpiece. The perfectly cooked fish sat on top of an amazing leek puree and string beans. The Pulled Pork was great with crumbly and yummy cornbread and corn and black bean salad. The Sunday Sauce was a beautiful dish of pasta, sausage, and creamy mascarpone that rounded everything out. Both dessert selections were scrumptious. The Chocolate Tart with caramel and maldon sea salt was made even better as the sweetness was countered with the tartness of the crème fraiche. The Peach Melba was an awesome interpretation of the classic. It was an almond semi freddo along side peaches and raspberries. The service was very inviting, which always adds to the experience, making my meal at The Harrison incredible.

Stylish, understated and deliberately worn around the edges, The Harrison is Tribeca in microcosm. With realistic prices, very good food, and service to match, this corner restaurant exudes an old school atmosphere that does double duty as both a simple neighborhood kitchen and a destination place, one in which moneyed locals rub well-clad shoulders with corporate geldings from Citigroup, visiting celebrities and others in-the-know. Co-owned by chef Jimmy Bradley, the emphasis here is on stylized, rich comfort foods like wood-smoked pork chops, endive-and-pear salad with walnuts and blue cheese, prosciutto-wrapped sweetbreads, and crispy fried clams with coriander-flavored aïoli for dipping.
