The Haystack Cafe

We ordered the Haystack grilled chicken salad, Satay Bali Blueberry pancake, mixed berry smoothie & glow juice. The grilled chicken salad was well-balanced yet so healthy! The Satay Bali chicken skewers-oh my goodness! Massive fan of the satay flavour and unreal juiciness from the chicken, the Asian salad added a nice component with the crunchiness from the beansprout and herbs made it refreshing. FYl they serve massive portions! To finish off the meal; the blueberry pancake was unreal 10/10. Thank you for the food and service ! (:

What an unexpected gem. A great Cafe set in the industrial area. Very nicely set out, relaxing ambience and soothing background music. Love the garden beds, filled with agave and frangipanis. Very inviting place to sit and take in the scenery while having a bite to eat. Fast friendly service. Prices are decent. Loved the food. We will back

The Indonesian dishes were super delicious. The chicken curry was very flavourful, the beef rendang was incredibly tender, and my dad particularly loved the gado gado, which had a generous amount of tofu. Not to mention, the food was presented so beautifully. The cafe also has plenty of space with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff were very friendly.

I always stop by after my baby’s swimming lessons, and this place never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious and the service is warm and welcoming every single time. I’ve made my way through much of the Indonesian menu, and every dish has been absolutely amazing — full of flavour and beautifully presented. It’s quickly become a post-swim favourite and a spot I genuinely look forward to visiting.

Absolutely love Haystack Cafe in Wanneroo! The Indonesian food is truly authentic and bursting with flavour — a real hidden gem. They also offer a great breakfast menu and classic café options, so there’s something for everyone. Open Wednesday to Sunday from 7am to 3pm, it’s perfect for a morning coffee or a relaxed lunch. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Highly recommended!
