Me and my mother arrived in Tampa on September 19th, 2025, and was looking for a place to eat seafood at St. Pete’s. I researched the area and found the Helm to be rated more highly than most seafood places. My mother and I live on Long Island, New York. We are surrounded by water and have some of the best seafood restaurants. Upon entering, we were greeted not by a waitress, but an Angel named Lindsey. Her smile could melt an iceberg in winter. Her enthusiasm for telling us all the specials and even incorporating her favorites made our luncheon that much more special. The restaurant had a beautiful nautical theme, and the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the appetizers special which was Bone Marrow with oysters cooked in a garlic and herb butter served with a side salad over rock salt. It was most scrumptious and I hope it comes back as a special. We shared a pile of Crab Fries that profound and a meal in of itself. We then ordered what many would call a lobster feast. My mother ordered the hot lobster roll with a jalapeño and pineapple coleslaw. I ordered a cold lobster roll with a side salad and a au gratin side dish that I wish I was eating right now. Me and my mother ordered to share the lobster grilled cheese. My mother, who is a phenomenal chef said “this exceeds my expectations.” The best part of the restaurant isn’t just the food, but the beautiful staff member that made it magical. Lindsey’s smile and enthusiasm to serve her customers were the true highlight of this luncheon. Bravo to her and the amazing chefs that made such and impact on both my mother and I, who travel and dine in many states. The Helm Seafood Parlour is without a doubt one of my top 3 if not top 1 best seafood restaurant I have experienced. Elizabeth and Joseph Nabet.
