"For years, this lunch wagon was an underemphasized display piece within the mock American town known as “Greenfield Village” at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. However, it caught the eye of Richard “Diner Man” Gutman—the country’s foremost expert on diners—who informed the museum that their wagon was, in fact, the last-known lunch wagon in existence. In the 19th century, “night lunch” wagons like this one served nocturnal foodies their midnight fix. The horse-drawn carriages emerged as the masses slumbered, serving policemen, theatergoers, and night-shift factory workers. One of these workers, an engineer with the Edison Illuminating Company, was a young Henry Ford, who allegedly ate a hot dog and a coffee nightly from this very cart, known as the Owl Night Lunch Wagon. When he later formed the nostalgic Greenfield Village—an outdoor section of his namesake museum stocked with icons of 19th-century Americana—he acquired his favorite wagon and made it part of the landscape. The wagon’s historical significance slipped through the cracks as it became a little-noticed piece of the museum that sold popcorn to visitors. Gutman’s letter to museum directors in the early 1980s sparked a rigorous restoration campaign, which he oversaw, to return the Owl Night Lunch to its former glory. Today, the renovated wagon boasts a bright veneer, selling hot dogs and coffee once again. None" - lukefater

Yelp
I was in Detroit for the weekend and decided to visit the museum on my way to the airport. I was able to store my luggage in a locked secure room and no charge. It was such an easy process and I am so glad that I decided to visit. Not only do you see the history of the Ford vehicles but also the bus that Rosa Parks sat in and the history of the Klu klux klan etc. we must not forget history and make sure these things NEVER happen again!

Yelp
If you're in Dearborn, Michigan or just passing through and have some time, you need to visit this museum. Give yourself some time because there's a lot to see. They offer different packages and senior citizens get a discount, also AAA members. All the staff is very knowledgeable and if you got more time, they have some stories to tell. I learned a lot of new facts just by asking about certain items in the displays. If you're a history buff, car guy, you like old buildings, old machinery or just wanna dig deeper into the life of Henry Ford and the friends he had, this is the place to visit!!! Places to sit and eat is available and a gift shop. If you had the time, you could spend a good three full days here!! My pictures don't do it justice.

Yelp
Growing up on the other side of the country, I had never heard of the Henry Ford Museum. But someone mentioned it and said it was definitely a must-do if you're in the Detroit area! So we made it happen. Parked in one of the many parking lots and walked to the museum first. Definitely lots of school children there on a weekday. Lots of school buses around as well. But you pay to get in and then go to the museum! Lots of good Americana to see. Definitely a museum dedicated to innovation and progress. Loved all of the cars they had on display including non-Ford cars. I would say the museum was definitely worth it! But it's not something I'm in a hurry to go back to. It was a bit expensive and I feel like I saw all I needed to see one time. Plenty of restrooms around and a couple of cafes to de-stress. Lots of activities for kids as well. This place is massive though so give yourself at least 4 hours. One thing that confused me was they asked if I parked so they could charge me for parking. I was honest but it was all on the honor system so I feel like I could have said no and it would not have made a difference.

Yelp
This review is only for the museum as we didn't have time to check out the village. I had a great time exploring the museum with lots of fun and interactive exhibits. I got on a steam engine, made a paper air plane, and enjoyed the entire museum. The sheer size of the place is monumentous. Inside of the museum are numerous cars, entire trains, multiple full size airplanes, and even a house! The huge machines and generators were the most astounding, and they were also my favorite exhibit because the smallest number of people congregated there. I made it about 75% through the museum in the morning. We took a delay to eat lunch at the cafe. I had the hot ham & Swiss with a Faygo cream soda. I love that they showcased local brands for visitors. The remaining quarter of the museum went quicker than the rest because I wasn't as interested in the collection of American history odds and ends that included doll houses, furniture, and telephones. We did not watch any of the films or go on the factory tour because they were lengthy time commitments, but I would love to come back to check out those options and the village!

Yelp
This is an awesome museum - I came here with my parents on the Bank of America Museums on Us weekend (when admission is free) and we weren't expecting to spend a ton of time there but we ended up absolutely enthralled. The museum houses a few notable US artefacts like the car in which JFK was assassinated, the bus in which Rosa Parks refused to change seats, and the chair in which Lincoln was shot. In addition, there are a ton of old cars and nostalgic miscellany on display. In the center of the museum is the cutest vintage operational cafe/diner with very reasonable prices; we didn't end up eating in the museum as we wanted to get middle eastern food in Dearborn but it's a great option for families. Everything in the museum is presented well, the docents are eager to help, and there are some fun interactive elements. Overall a 5* museum, would absolutely return.

Yelp
I can't get over how interesting this museum is! Not really a children's museum though. Adults, seniors and some teens would enjoy this, but I see most kiddos just being bored. This is a ton of walking- just to do the museum. There are 3 different places: the outdoor park, the indoor museum, and the factory tour. We only saw the museum. 2 hours there and we could have stayed longer. There are wheelchairs available to borrow and a limited number of motorized carts for rent. Fully worth the admission price, although I thought $9 for parking was steep! Go past the museum to the farthest parking lot for the closest parking.

Colton L.

Yelp
Came here. Awesome place. I don't have much to write in this review, but I have a ton of photos to share. Also, visit the trains that you can enter. Awesome sauce. So much to see.

Jacob D.

Yelp
Although I did not tour this museum, I did catch the shuttle bus to the Rouge Factory Tour here (I wanted to, but restricted time wise). From what I experienced waiting for the bus, the employee that assisted us was very helpful and friendly. The entrance seemed very clean and inviting. Hoping to visit the museum if I visit in the future.

Mark N.

Yelp
A "MUST VISIT" if visiting Detroit because as my friend describes it, "an eclectic collection of whatever you desire paid by a bizzillionaire." We spent half a day, but it easily can take a few weeks to truly be able to appreciate and visit the place. Imagine being a kid with an unlimited bank account - you purchase whatever you want...and it stored and displayed here! The museum is divided by different themes/area - cars (from the Oscar Meyer Weiner car to Presidential limos; bus where Rosa Park refused to move; to NASCAR and F1 racing cars); trains (small model trains to steam locomotives); violins (several Stradivarius), signage (McDonalds, Howard Johnson); think about it, and it's probably in the museum. There's even a classic diner on site serving meals straight from the last century (1950/60s I think). We spent only a few hours in the museum as we also had a tour of the F-150 factory plant which is an awesome visit. The Innovation Museum is one that can take weeks to truly to appreciate...if living in the area, definitely worth considering purchasing an annual pass. Our group was unable to explore the whole property so I missed a whole bunch of ifif - I going back to explore the rest of the museum.

Cinthia K.

Yelp
This museum showcases an amazing array of items that have helped shape the U.S.'s industrial prowess over the centuries. I really enjoyed my afternoon here when I came to Detroit this past summer. You can easily spend hours wandering around, looking all the amazing displays and exhibits. There's even a retro diner/cafe in the middle of the museum and lots of mini plastic injection mold machines where you can get miniature plastic facsimiles of some of the displays (most popularly the Wienermobile). I would definitely say that this center is worth visiting if you're coming to Detroit. It's great for families and for fans of history, pop culture, kitsch, and art as well.

Diego A.

Yelp
I came into this museum, expecting a lot of Ford motor vehicle vintage stuff and walked out, incredibly surprised to learn that Henry Ford was a big-time collector of all sorts of stuff. This entire museum is more of an ode to American innovation and progress than anything else. All the sections were very impressive and engaging from start to finish. People were very friendly. We were greeted right off the bat by a gentleman, named Alan, who saw that we were clearly first timers. He explained to us the basics of how the museum was laid out and invited us to return for a free tour later. The tour was informative and peaked our interest for specific displays. Overall, this is a wonderful experience. We would love to have time to take the village tour and everything else that has to offer, after seeing the quality of the museum.

Yelp
7/2/23 The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation was really cool! I would recommend buying the tickets there so you don't have to pay the online transaction fee. It was a rainy day when we went and it seemed like everyone wanted to go to the museum that day. The line for tickets was long, and there was a lot of people there in general, BUT the museum itself is a large place so we didn't feel too overcrowded. Due to the timing, we unfortunately didn't get to go to the Greenfield Village, but would definitely love to check it out the next time I am in Michigan. Zach mentioned that he had been to this museum a few times and even coming back again with me, I could tell he was having a good time. We especially enjoyed the exhibit showing all the trends and technological gadgets going back in time. The website says that people spend on average 2-4 hours there, but I honestly could have stayed in the museum the entire day! It was so interesting to see the different vehicles from different time periods and how they've changed over time. The christmas ornament collection was really impressive as well. Looking forward to my next visit here!

Teresa W.

Yelp
We went here while vacationing in Michigan. This place is real cool Henry Ford was definitely rich he if he liked the building he bought the whole building had it taken apart and has a steam train here and had it redirected. He has Thomas Edison's house and you can see the lights that Thomas Edison installed. He also has the Heinz ketchup man that invented Heinz ketchup he has his house. Also. He has so many actual famous places here. The wright brothers bicycle shop. It's set back in time and everyone wears clothes from the 1800's and stay in character in the way they talk and act. You can ride in a real model t ford. Eat at the wiener Mobile café., they have a gift shop and they also have famous cars in the museum. They have the famous wiener Mobile are used to drive around back in the 60s and 70s

Yelp
This museum has a little bit of everything there was way too much to see in one day . The grounds even have displays and I didn't even get a chance to see them. I was only there for a few hours so I concentrated on the interior. I wasn't disappointed. I got to sit in Rosa Parks actual seat.I also saw the rocker Lincoln sat in on that fateful day in the theater. Of course Regan's motorcade car was there to be viewed too it being a Ford vehicle and all.Ford was a collector of many things . There's a cafe on site . I ordered a lavender latte and it was good and reasonably priced. The museum serves as a nice backdrop for an after hours wedding.A bride and her bridal party were on grounds that day so I had a chance to see a set up. I feel like if I returned to the museum it would still feel new to me. There is that much to see.

Amanda L.

Yelp
The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is one of the cooler and more unique museums that I've ever been to! It's cool that Henry Ford built this like an assembly plant and lends itself to how uniquely laid out this museum is. Everything is wide open spaces, rather than having a ton of rooms and walls blocking off different areas. It's fun and different and that is reason in and of itself to come here! There's also rotating special exhibits that will come through and right now there is a Julia Child exhibit! It is really well done and so informative! As a fan of Julia Child's, I loved getting to know even more about her life through the years and see her career packaged in new and fun ways! Overall, this museum is stunning! I haven't been here since I was a child on a school field trip and they have truly added so much more in! I'll be coming back soon as I only got to see a small part of the museum and there's just so much to be seen here still so I'll post another updated review when I've seen the whole museum!

Elisa M.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and allow the time you need to be able to experience everything that this museum has to offer! there is SO MUCH to see, that they 2 hours we gave ourselves wasn't enough time to truly enjoy and see everything within. So just a heads up, they charge you for parking ($9) but they do offer discounts (ask before you actually buy your ticket) and if you have more than a few hours they have multi day tickets allowing you to experience the village, the museum and the factory. Within the museum we got to see some great items from history - from presidential limos, the bus that Rosa Parks was arrested on, cars through out the years down to trains and planes. There is also artifacts from how this country was formed. And for an additional fee you can even see what it feels like to barrel down the race track and be a race car driver! I would actually come back just so I can take my time and take in all that the museum has to offer. Great experience!

Wen C.

Yelp
This museum is excellent. Henry Ford was a huge collector and quite prescient about what was important and should be preserved. His collection is massive, and ranges from small watches to whole buildings (in Greenfield Village). You could easily spend several days here. It's great for everyone of all ages. The museum is laid out in areas and organized by time (for example, transportation is organized from the first cars to modern racecars). I was suprised to see that they had Abraham Lincoln's assassination chair. If you go to Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC, they mention that the real chair is right here in Dearborn! The signage is high quality and gives a lot of context for what you are looking at. They also have a rotating exhibit so you can visit the museum over and over.

Olivia M.

Yelp
What an amazing museum! Though a little pricey, the place is HUGE and has a lot to offer. It's almost a little too much to take in. So much innovation in one place! I was inspired by walking through all of the different sections. So glad I got to visit. Can't wait to go back.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Oh wow! I guess I thought that the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation was just a museum about cars. I was wrong. It's a museum that celebrates all forms of transportation and technology modernization. You'll find exhibits about airplanes and flight innovations, race cars, farm equipment, locomotives and trains, neon and roadside signs, and more. They even have the bus that Rosa Parks rode, and the presidential vehicle that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in. It's a museum with an amalgam of all types of interesting and historical artifacts. I was surprised (and delighted) to find a temporary exhibit about Charles & Ray Eames and the furniture that they created. I also really liked an exhibit about the 1980s and 1990s, and all of the cool things that happened during those decades, everything from the beginning of MTV to the invention of Air Jordans. There are a lot of signs and things to read, but there are also many interactive exhibits that were perfect for kids, which I appreciated. We spent a lot of time in the paper airplane area, creating the perfect paper airplane and testing them out to see which one flew the farthest. We spent almost two hours here and didn't get to see everything. This museum is huge, so be prepared to do a lot of walking. Much of it is open and airy, with wide walkways and tall ceilings, so even though it was very crowded when we visited, it didn't feel stuffy or overwhelming.

Aracely C.

Yelp
I can't believe this museum exists! It is full of American history and decades of historical exhibits. I have only visited some small museums in East Lansing prior to moving here from California but I'm glad we decided to stop by this one with some of our friends that were visiting out of town. First, a lot of parking spaces are available. Even if you park a little farther way there are entrances you can enter and leads you to the tickets area. The building itself is beautiful and long lengthwise. You don't think from looking at the outside it houses what I was about to see. Ticket prices are a little pricey in my opinion. If you buy a year's membership it is less expensive, but I doubt we will be going that often anyways. The inside of the building is gorgeous, with a lot of chandeliers and long white hallways. Absolutely clean and gorgeous. Once you get to the entrance, they scan your ticket and take a map. Once you enter the museum you are in awe. We couldn't decide what to start with at first. We headed to the Presidential cars. Amazing collection, from Kennedy's limousine where he was assassinated to Teddy Roosevelt's carriage. Later we headed to the train station area. Amazing! I can't believe they had a Chesapeake and Ohio Railway locomotive in there. There is so much to see and do. There is the Rosa Parks bus which has been restored to a Wright Flyer replica. We only spent about 2.5 hours and there was still so much to see. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are ever in Detroit. I will be returning!

Debbie T.

Yelp
I forgot what a gem that we have in this museum. It seemed like it's gotten bigger. We had so much fun. The Hallmark Christmas Ornament room was really great. I could have spent quite a bit longer there. So many great memories.

Michelle F.

Yelp
The Henry Ford Museum is a great indoor place to see a cavalcade of historic automobiles, invented engines of the times and the men that invented them. There are so many artifacts so be prepared to spend the whole day here. There are several Presidential motorcade cars including Kennedy's. They have the car that broke the land speed record and also Ford icons; the Model T and many others. They also have many things not directly related to the auto industry like the actual chair Abraham Lincoln was assassinated in, Martin Luther King historic pieces of memorabilia and a whole lot more! They have a nice lunch cafe inside where you can take a break. There are plenty of places to sit and relax when you need a break located all throughout the museum.

Kemal K.

Yelp
It's like being back in history, walking the same path as our yester years. What a great museum to transport back in time, will come back again, it's too big to tour in one day!

Mary A.

Yelp
What a museum!!! Definitely allow hours to wander. I mistakenly thought it would focus on autos but not the case. There is a little bit of everything. One of my favorite sections was memorabilia from different generations. It was a fascinating walk down memory lane. One of the best museums I have visited and I live near the Smithsonians!!!

Lex G.

Yelp
This is my second year in a row, holding a membership. Very worth it, especially since members have priority access to their Halloween and holiday nights. Love all of the exhibitions that they have here. It's always so nostalgic being at the Henry Ford Museum.

Vikram E.

Yelp
This place was so fun. I got to see many different ages and versions of cars, and got to learn about them. The best part was the seeing the manufacture of the F-150, and the light show they basically put on at the beginning. This is a must see!

Chris P.

Yelp
A staple in Dearborn and the Detroit area! I have been coming here for years and I highly recommend visiting if you are in the area! Much history to be seen, including the car that President Kennedy was assassinated in!

Michael G.

Yelp
I used to say it was 5 stars 12 years ago. But now they seem to have remove d some of the cars and added other stuff. Sadly I go there to see cars... not a Julia child display. Or hallmark ornaments. Give us more cars.

Mark D.

Yelp
It was a very informative tour The bad part is halfway thru the tour all the workers left We assumed that the UAW would be working on the line the entire time Not the case Get there as soon as it opens

Hannah P.

Yelp
Absolutely love the Ford museum, SO much to see and do. The interactive attractions are education and fun. My teens still love it after several visits. The employees are always so nice. We especially love the Rosa Parks bus exhibit and my kids have learned so much when they have the educational speaker. 100% recommend!!

Carlo Y.

Yelp
When you think of Ford Museum, you just if a car museum. But this place offers more than that, the museum is full of history and great displays. It has cars, trains, technology, and some of history displays. Also the factory is awesome that you got to see how a truck was built. I highly recommend this place.

Nadira Y.

Yelp
This is a great museum! It has so many types of vehicles inside, not only cars. It is nice to see the evolution of cars. There are also trains and planes. Not only are all the vehicles really cool, but the building itself is very architecturally nice with varying styles of arch ways and large windows. I have a child less than a year old and I was not able to find a family bathroom. Not sure if they have one within the museum, but they did not have one in the restroom area by the presidential cars. It was also a little difficult to find the nearest restrooms. There was also an event setup that began toward the last hour of the museum, which took away a little from the experience.

Joe V.

Yelp
I'd add this American Icon to your activities when in Detroit. The museum will take about 2.5 hours to do , not including the factory tour. I'd recommend checking to see if the plant is in production while you're visiting to determine if you want to do that portion. Go early - it fills with families and kids in the afternoon. I learned so much and it was a walk down memory lane learning about the development of our country , the travel industry , and manufacturing! Enjoy - admission $35. Parking $7 unless you take an Uber / Lyft. Take a few extra minutes to go walk the downtown area - it's charming and delightful!

Cindy L.

Yelp
Prices are absolutely ridiculous especially for kids. They went from $15 to $60. What a shame.

Phil B.

Yelp
Needed to kill some time one afternoon. Thought going to the Ford museum would interesting. It was a great side trip and work the money. Lots of cool stuff to see.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Pretty cool museum- but for the admissions price/ they should have all the "hands on" experiences in working order. Was really disappointed to go try something- to find it not working.

PJ C.

Yelp
If I could give this six stars I would. This is one excellent museum - as good as the Smithsonian in DC (though here they charge $20+ vs. me paying via my taxes in DC!). We bought our tickets on-line a couple of weeks ago. We spent 3.5 hours (after 2 hours on the Ford Rouge factory tour). I definitely could have spent another hour or so but fatigue was setting in. The displays are very well curated and written - super educational and interesting. Not just cars (it is Ford after all) but all forms of transportation and related travel. Even the Weinermobile! A big section on giant steam engines, turbines, and generators. Farm equipment, circular houses, etc. They even have the wonderful mold-a-rama plastic injection molding machines where you can get hot plastic trinkets. Nice. Incredibly fascinating. Allot at least 1/2 a day for the museum alone.

Dan S.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY by far one of the coolest places ever. SO much to see & do, and I only did the museum since I only had a day... its SO MUCH more than cars too, I absolutely LOVED the Christmas Tree ornament section, brought back so many childhood memories that my Mother would hang on our tree every year (MISS YOU MOM!!) just meandering around you come upon so many cool things... steam engines from the 1700's, President Limos, a replica of the Wright Brothers plane, cars from the 80's, just so much to see and take in!!!! Can't wait to be back in the area to do it again!!!

Leo Y.

Yelp
I love old machinery, and knowing how things work, as well as historical artifacts, and this museum was a gold mine. From Rosa Parks' bus, to Kennedy's limo, to one of the original electrical generators, which powered the Ford factory, this museum has surprises around every corner. It's easily possible to spend days here, starting off with the free, 30 minute highlight, tour to orient yourself. There's a small food court with a Zingerman's and a food market. The museum adds new sections every few years, and has temporary exhibitions, so it's worthwhile to visit repeatedly. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Chuck W.

Yelp
The Museum is still wonderful, but I have been a long-time member and come here regularly to walk on cold days. We had an arctic blast recently, and I went to walk in the afternoon. The Museum was virtually empty. I hung my jacket in one of the two alcoves with coat racks. I came back 90 minutes later to find my jacket had been stolen. I was wearing my ear buds, but the charging case was in the pocket. Except for the school there, the Museum is a destination away from residential neighborhoods. I thought someone had taken my coat by mistake and it would be returned, but no such luck. If you do use this area to hang up your coat, make sure the pockets are empty.

Doug S.

Yelp
Amazing museum My son and I stopped here After the big game. we spent about 3 hours and if the weather was better and we didn't have to catch a flight, could have spent another 3 hours there.

Paige R.

Yelp
I love going here! It's very kid friendly and family friendly! I use to go here a long time ago with my friend and we loved it here and collecting the wax figures was perfect :)

Stacy K.

Yelp
This museum is not only my childhood but the childhoods of my children. We have had maintained a membership on and off for several years since the kids were toddlers. They practically grew up here, coming here season after season. They love all of the displays and love how interactive the museum is. Now that they are getting older, they still appreciate the fun and wonder the museum brings, and instead of rolling their eyes and asking to stay home, they look forward to visiting and enjoying each display. As small children they loved seeing the Christmas time lego worlds, Santa, writing letters and putting them in the North Pole mailbox, playing with all of the toys. They loved eating here and spending an entire day meandering and they still maintain that wonder. They love being able to finally eat in the old timey cafe and appreciate being able to climb into the train and launch paper airplanes. I typically choose when to purchase a membership based on their temporary traveling exhibits, and what brought me here this time was the Scooby Doo exhibit. While it is really best for small children, super fans like my kids can appreciate the mystery magic brought by Scoob and the gang. They spent a long time going through the entire mystery from start to finish to solve the crime. Plus our membership practically pays for itself in one and a half visits. If you live in the area and find an exhibit here that is worthwhile, I do recommend getting the membership. I have brought the kids and their friends so often over the years it is well worth it if you even only visit a few times. We always get the membership plus rides which is also worth it if you use it. We do, the kids love the unlimited rides in the summer, so we will be visiting often. If you are not from here, I recommend either coming over two days so you can see the museum and the village, or coming when both are open from Spring to Fall to get the best of both worlds. Plus come early, it always fills up even on a random winter weekend and the food does close early if you want to eat here, which is pricey but always for some reason delicious. It is an historic amusement park for those who enjoy that kind of experience.

Jim H.

Yelp
The museum is great. The people who run it are amazing. Do not eat at the food court or get a coffee at the cafe. I've never had rude service like this before. They don't even say thank you or acknowledge you. The girl making my $5 small coffee was angry and mad at something. I waited for her to give me my coffee. She yelled at me for reaching out to grab the coffee. She was so rude. This isn't my first time at the cafe when I was treated rude. The last time I came the employees were eating and drinking behind the counter. Touching people's drinks and food. The coffee was horrible. Save your money and go to some wonderful local coffee cafes in the area.

Dave C.

Yelp
Large 1-story museum dedicated to cars, of course, but also inventions in general, innovation, airplanes, trains, other types of vehicles and general "what was life like over the last 150 years". Took about 4 hours to see it all. Can get a great sense for how innovators think and act - and see how things have changed life for all of us.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Take your time! There's so much to see. We were there for about 5 hours and didn't finish the outside area. Highly recommend. Even the kids were interested. We'll be back to finish it for sure.

Dominic S.

Yelp
Definitely 5 stars hands down. One of the best museums I've been to so far. It was so informative, definitely took me back down memory lane in some of the stuff Henry ford collected. There is just so much stuff to look at. It took us around 4/5 hours and that was kinda going through it fairly quick. There is so much stuff I would say it takes at least a full day to see everything comfortably.

Ebenezer's Anni L.

Yelp
It pains me to not give them a 5 star review, but even EBS would agree that the lack of a good place to eat hurts them greatly. Still have great exhibits that are updated when needed. Still wonderful to just walk around and take in history. The new racing exhibit is more hands on and tells a wonderful story. Even the gift shop selection seems to not be as good as it was when EBS and I would just come to visit one more time. Lets hope once things gets back to a more busy new normal they will fix what costed them my 5 star review.

AJ C.

Yelp
Such a fun museum. You could definitely spend the day here between the outside area and inside exhibitions. I feel like I learn or see something new every time, and I've been several times! My boyfriend and I love coming here for dates, I understand the need to charge for admission to maintain this massive place, but $35 a person can get a little much for a group of people. They do offer membership options!

Yelp
Five stars, easily! You can spend hours in this museum. Cars, Americana, and history such as the chair President Lincoln was shot in from Fords Theater to Rosa Parks bus was restored. I ended up purchasing a membership because this along with the Greenfield Village, it was a no brainer. Loved my visit!
