The Henry is a compact old Georgian establishment that provides a pleasant environment in the charming city of Bath. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room (teabags and instant coffee, long life milk), and the view was to a quiet courtyard surrounded by other similar height buildings that didn't impact privacy. The bathroom was adequate, but being an addition to the room it was quite tight. Breakfast was hearty, with traditional British fare as well as croissants and granola, amongst a few other things. Staff were good, with a perfunctory yet pleasant enough manner. The hotel is part of a discount offer for the area as well. Access to rooms is only via stairs so be mindful of the narrow stairs to negotiate, especially if you're located. The room we had, number 2, was very compact, and it was quite a squeeze to get to one side of the bed near the wall. The birds make quite a racket but we slept well. No Aircon for hot days, so it was a little stuffy at times. Hot water was a little hit and miss, again a consequence of the old building. Wifi was pretty ordinary.
