The Heritage Room

We had a fantastic experience with the Heritage Room for our rehearsal dinner! Melissa was a pleasure to coordinate with, and all the day-of staff were wonderful! Staff set everything up before we arrived, so all we had to do was bring bouquet centerpieces and the seating chart with table assignments. The room comfortably fit around 90 people, mingling and sitting, and two musicians for the cocktail hour. We had access to the AV system, so we could display a slideshow, have speeches on the mic, and play music for dancing. The food was phenomenal - we did the full dinner menu, hosted wine/beer/signature cocktail bar, and cake desserts, and everything was wonderful! Our guests had a great time and said it felt like a full wedding! All in all, the rehearsal dinner cost approx. 1/4 of our budget for the whole wedding weekend, so it felt very reasonable! We highly recommend this venue for any type of event!

We chose the Heritage room for our wedding venue and the Octapas lounge as our caterers. We could not be happier with our choice. Melissa was amazing and attentive. She helped us have an incredible day we will never forget. We had more than enough food for our guests, and it was delicious. Both the venue and caterer had very reasonable rates that helped us stay within our small budget. Thank you so much Melissa and the Octapas Lounge!

Beautiful venue! The company I work for had our company Christmas party here and we had the best time. Food was great! I absolutely loved their spring rolls and the building is beautiful. I adore this rustic venue.

I was there for a funeral, had a very nice vibe. Smelled, good.

This place is hands down amazing!!! Melissa and her whole team are beyond amazing!!! I have hosted several events here and they always go above and beyond. We always get a ton of positive feedback from guests on the location, venue ans food!!!Their catering is amazing and very good price point for many different menu selections.

Great event venue for large and small parties. Wide, open space with room to mingle or sit down at rounds. Cozy yet airy with beautiful decor. We had a fabulous taco bar for our meeting which was delicious and fresh. Media services worked well and set up was easy. Paid parking on street.

Very unique building/venue. It's located in a questionable area of town. Homeless camp nearby. I didn't like that the bridal party actually had to go out on street, walk around the corner and stand on sidewalk to enter the main doors for procession. There is no cover! Cold or rain, in a bridal gown?? Not good! Also need to use their preferred caterer, Occasions. Totally underwhelmed by their food taste, and they also did not prepare enough. Ran out of most menu items quickly, and they were serving, so it wasn't like guests were overloading plates. Consider all the costs before booking.

I attended a legislative reception here. The space is just off of Capital Lake with plenty of parking in the vicinity. It was a nice, big space with planty of room for both tables and standing chatting groups. Bar is the back of the space with plenty of room for two bartenders to work at the same time. If you are looking to host a reception in Olympia, this seems like a good choice.

Amazing venue! I recently attended a wedding here and the decor was beautiful tiny lights along the walls and lovely plants in the windows! The space is large and the restrooms large & super clean. Great location with fantastic amenities for events!!

I recently had my sons celebration of life here and it was set up beautifully. Octapas Cafe catered and the food was delicious. There was some technical difficulties with the projector, but it was handled professionally and with care. Our experience was exactly how we wanted it to be and everyone was very impressed. Highly recommend The Heritage Room and Octapas Cafe!!
