The Heron Hotel

Wesley has the best professional conduct I have ever experienced in a hotel.|He has the best attitude and personality in the hotel.|The food was Avery taste and a well decorated conference facility hall.|Strong Wi-Fi with very much working best microphones. I would love to come back to heron hotel experience the gym and the pool.|I have loved the amenities

Everything quite nice. Just a note about the view from the room: another wing of the hotel located 2 meters away. It gives you the feeling to open room on a wall. I would suggest to request rooms with a view and more air circulation. The bathroom almost in need of a renovation.

My initial 5 nights were amazing. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and I appreciated the complementary water and coffee . The staff were kind, respectful, and professional, especially Bob and the restaurant staff. My last night there my room was in room 3091 ( behind the gym in the back ), which I would not recommend because many 'amentiites' in the room did not work, and the room was also very dark and outdated. I should have requested another room .

Our group spent a night at this hotel before starting our Mount Kenya trek, and the stay was excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, giving us a great place to relax before the climb. The staff made us feel welcome and were attentive to anything we needed.We also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a good variety of fresh options to fuel us for the day ahead. Overall, the hotel was a pleasant and convenient choice for anyone preparing to hike Mount Kenya.

I arrived at 8am, many hours before my check in time & was very sick from the exhaustion of a 30+ hour travel day. The from desk staff got me checked in immediately, helped with my bags & with the air con, & even called the room once in the afternoon & again in the evening to check on me & see if I was feeling better. Everyone is so incredibly kind & helpful here. Not to mention the rooms are nice, very clean, as is the rest of the hotel! I could not recommend this place enough. Thank you for a lovely stay, this was an incredible introduction to Kenya :)

Our group stayed at this hotel before our trek to Mount Kenya, and we truly enjoyed our experience. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was perfect for resting and preparing for the hike.The breakfast was good, with a nice selection of fresh food, which was exactly what we needed before heading into the mountains. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to other travelers heading to Mount Kenya.

I enjoyed my stay here.Amazing service by the waiting staff.Particularly Kala and Dennis.The Manager Wesley was kind and helpful too.Their rooms are clean and food tasty.

Really nice experience. I enjoyed my time here. The food was nice. It's along jakaya kikwete road a really nice and serene environment. The staff is friendly and hev nice services. I would recommend coming here.
