Always a great experience here. First time I’ve come for dinner, previously coming for brunch or lunch. We started with the warmed Spanish style olives which were a nice change. Warmed through without being too hot. For mains I got the blackened catfish with jalapeño-cheddar grits. While expensive at $32, the flavor was very good and I would absolutely order again. Other dishes we got were the veggie burger which has a really nice outer crunch to it being covered in panko, and the vegan grain bowl. The bowl had really nicely katsu style (fried) tofu and for being vegan was incredible flavorful. Highly recommend making a reservation and coming to enjoy this place!

Google
The place was very good, but not the type of food my husband and I like. I was very artistic and presentation was beautiful! I got a Caesar salad and it had pears, crispy olives and garlic crumbs. My husband had the mac and cheese...loved the buttery crumbs! My husband also had the blue cheese deviled eggs. Again, very artistic but he said he likes his plain deviled eggs! Lol! Service was wonderful! Very good but I just wanted basic food. We ate on the deck at sunset which was beautiful!

Love love love The Heron. Every time I have eaten here, my food has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff is also always kind, and the servers know the menu well. Last time I was here I was drawn to a Thai mussel appetizer and our server was able to accurately help me order so that I could have it as my main and not leave hungry. BTW it was PHENOMENAL! In terms of setting, you couldn’t ask for anything better. The outside seating looks over the river and faces the sunset. Gorgeous! Inside is cozy and fun as well. Excellent vibes all around. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants in our county.

Google
One of the best chilis I’ve ever had, curry deviled eggs were great, the brussels starter was also good! Fried chicken dinner was good, but the salmon dinner I wouldn’t recommend. Lasagna easily took winner for all 3 entrees. That was by far the most memorable lasagna I’ve ever had. Overall good spot with a cool vibe, good food and friendly atmosphere.

Whenever I’m in Narrowsburg, this is a must stop. We ate there 10 years ago and then a few times in between, and sat on the deck overlooking the river last Saturday. Consistently solid and delicious, the staff are on point. If the weather allows sit on the deck, make sure to make reservations. Do not miss the deviled eggs and buttermilk fried chicken—two of the best examples of each you will ever have. I loved my limoncello spritzer too. Always new things to try, along with our favorites. Thank you Heron!

I’ve come here several times with my Uncle when I’m visiting, and we always have an amazing meal. We were here for brunch and sat outside. Beautiful view, and we saw a bald eagle hunting as we ate! I had the breakfast burrito and a biscuit with honey butter, and my Uncle had the corned beef hash which is his favorite. I had an iced chai latte too. Everything was great, as always. The food here is very consistent, super yummy, and the people are incredible.

Google
One of our fave places to eat in the area! The macaroni & cheese is legendary, the atmosphere can’t be beat with warm & local vibes and Marla is amazing. The Heron has gotten us through the pandemic & long, cold upstate winters. Can’t recommend enough! Insider tip: the chicken tenders are AMAZING & sell out fast, so make your reservations early.

Google
The food is very good my personal favorite is the mac and cheese it's crunchy on the top and creamy in the middle sadly I have not be able to finish it yet because it is incredibly filling. The only problem with the whole thing is that the wait time can get long and you will have to reserve a spot other than that it is phenomenal.

Yelp
The Heron has the family feel. It has a warm ambiance that makes you feel welcomed and that you are about to eat with your family for a holiday dinner. The bar has delicious drinks and always creates new concepts to add. Their food is fresh and fulfilling. They keep their famous staples and are always looking for new items to add to their creative menu. It is the best place in Narrowsburg so you have to make sure to call ahead or have a reservation. But you will not be disappointed even if you have to wait a couple of minutes! It is well worth the wait!

Yelp
The Heron in Upstate New York is a charming spot for a cozy brunch, and it definitely lives up to the hype. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with rustic decor and a relaxed vibe that's perfect for a weekend meal. The service was some of the best I've ever had. Everyone especially the hosts were extremely friendly and attentive, and they made us feel right at home. The menu features a variety of delicious brunch options, and everything is made with fresh. I tried to order as much food off the brunch mennu because everything just sounded that good. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time was a bit longer than expected, especially since the place was fairly busy. That said, the food was worth it, and I'll definitely be back to try more items from their menu. Overall, The Heron is a lovely spot for a relaxing, delicious brunch in Upstate NY! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Exceptional restaurant. I think this ranks among the best in the Catskills. We have been many times, always a treat. Stopped in for dinner today. Dined Al fresco on the back deck. Beautiful views watching the sun go down. For dinner we had the cold cucumber soup. Without a doubt it is the best I have ever had. Then onto the Caesar salad. Full of surprises, eggs, chick peas, and more. Simply delightful. Then on to tonight's special, the lobster roll. Service is always on the spot. Caring, knowledgeable, and engaging. Reservations strongly recommended.

Yelp
Love the Heron! The food is fresh and creative. Great truffle fries. Really tasty mushroom pate with artisan breads. And salads that are out of the ordinary. Plus Marla is a doll!

Yelp
I would give the five stars anyway because the food is delicious. But I'm also hoping to counter the ridiculous 1 star someone gave because they couldn't get in as a walk-in, and were upset that they had to make a reservation. Why give a one star because the restaurant is busy enough to be booked? Also, as the business owner said, if they left it to walk-ins that could really I'mpact a remote local business that isn't condusive to foot traffic. I have a great idea, instead of a 1 star review, just make the damn reservation! Pick a day, book it, and go! win-win! Anyway, here's my review. The rustic atmosphere, humble yet elevetated food good for hicksters, locals, and city slickers with summer places. The fried chicken and mash are savory and delish and the deserts are yummy. We had a large party with us and the service was great.

Yelp
I love the food and the deck view during the summer. My son asks to go all the time to eat the veggie burger. I love the servers funky style and the drinks are great too. This restaurant is a gem.

Yelp
One of our favorites gone to the reservation dogs. Can't get in. Twice now I've rolled up close to 5pm, at opening, to be told that there's no tables available. Now, I hear ya that I'm not seeing the whole picture of your dining room but I can't imagine that there's a completely full dining room when it's completely empty. It's highly disappointing and I won't be back. Even if I wanted to, there's no tables to be had. EDIT TO ADD: I've debated removing my post as a courtesy to Marla, the owner, but I've decided to leave it standing. FWIW, I love the food here and you should all go. I take issue with the reservation system. I've come in summer and again in fall, incidentally not on weekends. This is precisely why yelp reviews exist. People aught to know that reservations are pretty-much mandatory, and should not expect to find a seat if they decide to pop in. With there being ~5 restaurants in Narrowsburg, this can be an issue. I don't understand the practice of giving away all of your tables and leaving none for walk-ins. That's something you would only find in BK, oh wait, this is Narrowsburg, not Williamsburg, right??

Yelp
Came in for brunch and had an amazing time! The Bloody Mary and Bellini were great to start then we tried the eggs and grits, pimento jar, deviled eggs and dessert. All were delicious!

Yelp
Wow, so I went here because a woman who works there is a very talented singer. The place is adorable the back patio is majestic. The food was amazing and the service has been very consistent and great by all who I have had the honor of serving me. They have very good selection of wine and hot sauce. I can't say enough good about it.

Yelp
This restaurant is incredible. We are visiting from out of town and I can't believe such an amazing restaurant is in such a tiny town. The staff was really friendly and the place is small but cute. Reservations are best but they were able to seat us at the bar after having a cocktail out on their beautiful porch that overlooks the Delaware River. The truffle fries are the best we've ever had (and we are truffle fry addicts). They're super truffly. We got the Greek salad which was also incredible. It's a cropped Greek with bacon and was delightfully crispy. Lastly, we got the crispy salmon over coconut milk curry. This was incredible!!! So savory and delicious and perfectly cooked. I can't recommend this place enough. It is pricy (the salmon was $38), but in my mind... absolutely worth it!

Rich M.

Yelp
Good: The food is decent and the views are amazing if you sit on the porch. The vibes on the inside are also really nice and the bar is well stocked and just a nice overall place to get a drink. Bad: This is one of those restaurants where they turn you away if you don't have a reservation regardless of how many tables are open. It's frustrating as a patron, because here I am, at your establishment, wanting to give you my money, but for some reason a phone call with a stranger gives them priority over me, even tho I'm standing at your door. If the place was super busy I'd understand, but every time I've been turned away it was not, and I have been denied service multiple times. I even went once with my friend just trying to get a drink at the bar (again was about half occupied) and was turned away! The people greeting us at the door made no effort at all to try and serve us, they just glanced at the bar and said "ummmm no sorry we're full" . I just don't get it. We could buy a drink anywhere in Narrowsburg, but we chose your bar. Do you want my money or not?

Yelp
Definitely a must do when you find yourself in the idyllic hamlet of Narrowsburg. It all starts with a warm welcome, and for us a few pre-dinner drinks, gin and lemonade concoction for my wife and a spicy margarita for me. The bartender is a delight, and again, so welcoming. Next to our table, apps and dinner. We shared the oysters and olives, and each had our own biscuits with honey butter. Absolutely delightful, and I now understand why we didn't share a biscuit. The chorizo and crab mac and cheese was the perfect amount of spicy and creaminess. The warm lobster roll was full of lobster and served on the proper roll. We also enjoyed the Vermentino and Sauv Blanc. In our opinion the Vermentino was more enjoyable. The service was exceptional and again, warm and welcoming. Cannot wait to go back! Enjoy!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and great service. Our drinks were awesome, the truffle fries are the best I've ever had.. The fried chicken and the Mac n' cheese were beyond delicious. We sat outside, the view of the river was beautiful, it was so peaceful. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I hosted a post-wedding family brunch here and everything was perfect. Excellent service for the 19 of us and the food was delicious. We all really liked the mushroom pate and my blackened salmon burrito was awesome. It was just the perfect atmosphere for our little mini reunion. I left feeling so happy and grateful for how everything came off. This is a special place.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great music (particularly if you like the rock of the late 80s/early 90s). Great service and food was good.

Yelp
COVID report: indoor dining only as of November 2021. There is limited table service, and food is served in takeout containers, but they have the normal menu. Stopped in for lunch and had the buttermilk fried chicken and biscuit, which was perfect. My mom also liked her matzoh ball soup. Definitely want to return for dinner!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! Call ahead for a reservation as it books up quickly. They turned a couple walk-ins away when we were there and when we called for a table for two that night, they only had a 5pm. Service: Amazing. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. We were constantly being approached throughout the night by different servers asking how our meal was and if we needed anything else. The dishes did not come out in the order we expected but we didn't care because we were sharing everything and it was all delicious! Food: Amazing. I loved it all. Specifically: - Roasted bone marrow appetizer (10/10): This was the best dish of the night. There wasn't enough bone marrow for all the bread but it was still so delicious. It was thicker and more voluminous than some smaller bones we have gotten at other restaurants. - Homemade biscuit with butter (6/10): This was $3 for one biscuit and very standard. The edges had a nice crisp but the center wasn't as melt in your mouth as I was hoping for. - Chopped salad with homemade ranch dressing (9/10): Where can I buy this dressing? It was incredible. I absolutely loved this salad. Just wish it had a bit more lettuce (it was overwhelmed with toppings). - Fried chicken (9/10): This was the second best dish of the night. Crispy exterior and juicy interior. The leg was amazing. The breast was a tad dry but still good. Not as huge of a fan of the mashed potatoes and gravy it came with (they were a little bland) or the sour carrots (though my husband liked those). - Classic Heron Mac and Cheese (6/10): This was admittedly one of the better Mac and cheeses I have had but I wish they offered it as a side or appetizer, not a meal. It's definitely too much for even two people to consume as it is very cheesy. We couldn't have more than a few bites, though those bites were pretty tasty. We especially loved the crispy brown edges. Drink: I got a glass of the Montepulciano, which was $14 and I absolutely loved it. All the wines were ~$12-$14. Pretty reasonable. Overall, loved this place. Highly recommend and will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Yelp
I recently enjoyed an anniversary dinner at The Heron in Narrowsburg NY. We sat on an outdoor patio overlooking the river. Service was quite attentive and made excellent food and drinks recommendations. I decided to go with their fried chicken which was locally sourced and fresh. We split oysters which were on special, coming from New England area were snobbish in freshness. They were amazing. Will definitely stop in again next time we're in town for a long weekend, maybe twice as they seem to have a solid breakfast menu as well.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Highly recommended! From their delicious food, different menu options, and the family feel from their staff, this place is a diamond in the rough!

Yelp
Service was excellent, they were hospitable & answered every question, and made many suggestions while we interacted. The food was SUPERB and super fresh! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and potatoes. The gravy they paired with the chicken was honestly drinkable lol! They even gave me carrots (so I felt healthier)! The mac n' cheese was cheesy and well seasoned paired well with the chicken, glad I splurged for it! All in all, I am going back & I will eat inside next time - it's a charming hole in the wall! Yelp
The food and service is fantastic! The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend The Heron. You don't want to miss eating here, so make sure you call to make a reservation!

Yelp
A new favorite, the Heron has great service and great food. One warning: Get reservations, as they often are at capacity. On one visit, we sat outside. They have a deck with several tables overlooking the lake. We had appetizers that day: Soup of the day, deviled eggs, and one of their paté or mousses that come in a jar. It came with an onion jam and an assortment of breads. I would eat this as a meal; it was fabulous. More recently, we sat inside and scored the table in the window. The interior is rustic but stylish. It was a few days before Halloween and I will say this: They are really into Halloween. Everyone was dressed up and the room was decorated. One again, the food was fabulous. A veggieburger that delightfully celebrated its vegetableness. No attempt to pretend it's meaty. Tender and flavorful, with a well-browned, crispy crust. It came with fries that were brown and crisp, perfectly cooked. Likewise for the burger: A big, fat burger, perfectly cooked. They are known for their fried chicken, and for good reason. Perfectly cooked, even the breast meat was juicy and flavorful, and it was cracklingly crisp. We took some of what we had to go and they delivered it to the table in containers neatly labeled and bagged. Nice, classy touch.

David L.

Yelp
Great place. Little expensive, but what isn't these days. Beautiful deck. Nice staff Put in the right halogen bulb should my fried chicken was good the Mac and cheese was special looking forward to going back cocktails were fun but pricey

Dorrie B.

Yelp
The place was packed on a Thursday evening, but we were able to have drinks on the back porch while we waited for a table. Lovely setting for a summer evening. Once inside (not a long wait), it was hard to choose. Our cousin -- a Narrowsburg resident and Heron regular -- couldn't recommend one thing over another, as everything was excellent. He and my DH both ordered chicken wings, which were not only huge, but some of the best ever. My DH also had fries (excellent) and my cousin had a spectacular lobster roll. I had a honey biscuit and then the mushroom pate. That's something I could eat every day and never get tired of it. Creamy, textured, rich, and savory, and accompanied by a fruit-and-nut relish and artisan bread slices. Dessert: Chocolate pot de creme (mmmmmm!) Make reservations and go!

Yelp
2 pm and no chicken sandwiches or any bacon either. we sat by the door and it was cold. They don't offer bottomless brunch or were willing to even offer a pitcher, it was a big group of us and I feel no accommodations were made. Will not be returning to this restaurant. The waitress also came to us with a cup of hot chocolate asking if we ordered it. We told her no it wasn't for us. Turns out it was for another table that also had Black people. All Black people don't look the same.

Yelp
I had dinner here with family and friends and really enjoyed our dining experience. Service was excellent and responsive, which was very nice since we had very young children present. I got the Fried Chicken based on some of the reviews, and I am glad that I did! It was crunchy and flavorful on the outside, while the meat was hot and juicy on the inside. The mashed potatoes and pickled carrots were good, although they do get outshined by the chicken. I had a bite of the biscuit with honey butter, which was pretty good, but my favorite was still the fried chicken. It is a pretty small restaurant with limited nearby on-street parking spots, so we made our reservations for right when they opened (since we had very young children, this was critical, but reservations are recommended, as I saw two walk-in parties get turned away after we arrived).

Yelp
This restaurant far exceeded expectations. Food was great; charming decor; service was very good; and the view in the back was outstanding. I ate two dishes and tried a third. The spinach salad seemed simple but was delicious. The dressing was excellent. I also tried a vegan quinoa tofu bowl The chicken liver however was a star! (and I have had both great and terrible chicken liver mousse this summer so I have a good frame of reference). The accoutrements are what really did it. There was an outstanding mostarda and a very nice pickled cabbage or onion. Both would have been great/sufficient on their own, but together it was almost like two dishes. I would eagerly return to this restaurant if given the opportunity and highly recommend.

Yelp
Just a small update to say the burger is back, go have the burger, and then everything else in the menu :) We love this place check my previous review for more details

Yelp
Great brunch spot on the Delaware river. We sat on their back patio for the beautiful view. The food was excellent. I particularly liked the pimento cheese spread, which came in a cute little maison jar. My cream cheese and chive eggs were fluffy and delicious. I appreciated that it came with a fresh green side salad (yum) and house fries seasoned beautifully with rosemary (yum, yum!). I also enjoyed stealing a bite of my fiancé's hash and biscuit with honey butter. The service was friendly, but also a bit off. They forgot to bring a few items, and would disappear for long time periods so folks didn't order more drinks because by the time they showed up, it was too late (e.g., we were ready for the check).

Samantha F.

Yelp
Always a delicious meal! Service is great and friendly, food is creative and tasty, drinks and delicious and the atmosphere is fantastic. A Catskill gem!

D L.

Yelp
::Opens at 5. We walk in at 5. 10 open tables:: Them- "We are really busy. Hold on" ::10 minutes later:: Them- "Would you be willing to sit at the bar?" Us- sure Them- drinks and appetizers only. Us- you can't order an entree at the bar? Them- no Us- but you can still bring us appetizer food? Then- ...yes Us- Nevermind. Quickest review I made. Make that one make sense. So you have room for us at the bar, but can't serve all the food? Ok. Ludicrous.

Yelp
Good food. Nice location. Very good service. Worth the visit to this cute town. We will be back.

Yelp
Just a wonderful restaurant. The locally sourced food is incredible. The ambience is fantastic. The town of Narrowsburg is a charming as it gets.

Yelp
As of May 2021, they are only doing takeout orders. You have to call-in your order by 6:30 pm. I ordered the garlic Parmesan chicken wings. I found the breading a little too thick - I was expecting lighter since it was rice flour. BF tried the friend chicken and said it was fine. I had the biscuit and that the delicious.
google avatar

Daniela W.

Yelp
First time in Narrowsburg, first time eating lunch in this establishment. There's only outdoor seating at this time, with limited food service. You order at the register and the food is brought out to the table, in to go packaging. We shared a beet salad and a veggie burger. Delicious and very fresh! Too bad they were closed the days after we were there. Would have loved to return.
google avatar

Marianne P.

Yelp
Quaint dinner spot not to be missed when in the area, but be sure to have reservations. Even ask for late seating so you are not rushed out. Enjoy the Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and pimento cheese for appetizers. The salmon, fried chicken and porkchetta were all delicious. Many bites were shared among these dining guests.

Maddy G.

Yelp
Food, atmosphere, and service were all amazing! Highly recommend if you're in the area, but try to make a reservation as they fill up quick!

Yelp
Welcome to Narrowburg's social central in Sullivan County, New York on the Upper Delaware across from neighboring PA. We have fined here several times since opening and enjoy the rustic vibe and charming menu. Brunch is particularly enjoyable and the drinks list fairly good for the area. Why not combine Sunday brunch with a stroll along Main Street and eagle watching at the deck which has a handy telescope...

Yelp
After stopping on the sidewalk and seeing the menu for The Heron, I called that evening for a take out order of Fried Chicken. Growing up in Virginia, I Know southern fried chicken and I have to applaud The Heron because they hit the mark. It took a few minutes to find the online menu, because you have to first hit the online ordering link - not the word "Food." Do not fear, you aren't locked into ordering if you just want to see the menu. The chicken is locally sourced and made buttermilk style which makes the meat out of this world tender and juicy; AND, you get three good size pieces, a leg, wing, and breast. The coating is extra crunchy - yum! A few spicy carrots are also included along with a biscuit with honey butter and blueberry jam. Of course, I had to order an extra biscuit because I can't eat just one. Thanks for being there The Heron. For me, you hit a home run!

Yelp
Fried chicken and biscuits can't be beat. Great cocktails and excellent service as well.

Yelp
Quite honestly, the best fried chicken I've had in awhile. A little pretext: I am a chef that has worked at the Michelin level in NYC who is also from the south. Trust me, the chicken is legit. I could say the same about the biscuit. Obviously a deft hand there. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the escabeche...it was over cooked. Good flavor... wrong method (salt the veg for thirty, rinse, pour over boiling brine w/o cooking for crispy pickled veg). That being said, it is still a VASTLY superior condiment than the artsy-mayo-whatever crutch most fried bird cooks lean on. The veggie burger is the best I've had since Brooks Headley's superiority burger. Good texture, well seasoned, properly dressed (loved the knife work on the slaw. Julienned pickle? Feel the love!). The bun was well selected too. If Chef bakes them in house, hats off. I hope one day, everyone will be able to respect how difficult it is to get bread just right. Here, they shine... thus the stars. Also, and this is personal...I love fernet and Coke. Having that as a cocktail option really sealed it for me. Just to reiterate...5 stars. Congrats to the Heron team... you should be proud.

Yelp
We went as a group of 8 last Friday night . We arrived before our reservation and had drinks on their outside deck which was very nice. When we were seated, 3 in our group were ordering the chicken dishes off the menu. We were told that they were out of chicken. (7p.m. Friday) Then 3 of us were going to order the leg of lamb special. We were told there was only enough for 1 order. I did get that and it was very good. 3 then ordered the ribs and the others went with the Mac n cheese. When our entrees were served we told our waitress that we were missing 2 orders of ribs. She simply stated they only had enough for one order. To top it off after 2 of our guest had 3 Amstel Lites they were told that they ran out of Amstel Lt. I don't understand how a restaurant can run out of so many items a couple hours after they open. 2 in our group never got a entree because the waitress never told them till last minute that they ran out of ribsOur waitress appeared like we were annoying her with her attitude. The waitress that served us on the outside deck was great. We looked forward to having dinner here but we won't be back.

Yelp
Truly one of the best restaurants in upstate NY. We ate at several high rated establishments and the Heron was the best of the bunch that included Old Foundation, Henning's Local, and the Junction. While staples include Buttermilk Fried Chicken (excellent), A Burger, Mac N Cheese (excellent), you can tell the chef also wants to bring unusual dishes to the area, such as a Korean Stew that we ate that blew our minds (well ... tastebuds). Food aside, the decor is quite appealing ... the service was great, and the location in Narrowsburg equally as appealing. Do not miss this spot!!! Rivals great restaurants in NYC.

Yelp
After a long miserable 2-flat-tires day of travel to Narrowsburg, we were thrilled to find that The Heron was open and just 2 days into post-pandemic indoor dining. Two seats at the bar, great cocktails, silly xmas decorations and a friendly staff...and our cares melted away. A huge kale salad, an extra delicious chopped salad, a perfectly cooked steak and the last cheeseburger in the place made our Saturday Night Special, as Skynyrd used to sing. Last time we were here was 10 years ago. It's just a few days later and I could eat that entire meal over again. Highly recommended.

Yelp
THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE AREA. Amazing sandwiches for lunch, and incredible food for dinner. My mom won't stop talking about the fried chicken sandwich.
google avatar

Kim S.

Yelp
We came to Narrowsburg to spend a relaxing Sunday, and decided to try The Heron, based on Yelp reviews. Believe me when I tell you, this place is incredible. The Chicken Box (fried chicken, biscuit, and jalapeno carrots) was one of the best things I've ever tasted (high praise, since I'm 55 years old). I honestly did not want to finish it, because then it would be gone. The chef obviously knows his stuff; even the breast meat melted in your mouth! And the biscuit and butter? To die for. The mac and cheese was nothing short of perfection. And Carissa, who took out order and made amazing cocktails, was incredible. Five stars are not enough, but it's the best I can give.
google avatar

Yelp
The Heron looks like and feels like a small town pub but their breakfast offering looks and tastes like something you'd find at a high end breakfast bistro. I had the crispy eggs and their version of a Bloody Mary. Both were Awesome. This one is at the top of our list of breakfast locations..

Yelp
I was a semi-regular here a few years ago, about 5-6 times a year, weekday afternoons. But it got weird and I stopped going. The food was always good, and the owner was initially quite nice. Then one day I went and was told by the host that my preferred window table was not being used that day. OK although most tables were open. Then other guests, known to the host showed up and were seated there. When I asked for the WiFi password the same young man told me it was only for staff. That was never the policy prior. Worse I saw him give it to guests he seated at the table I had requested. I was told a particular menu item was unavailable, yet heard another guest order it and it was served to them. Finally I was asked if I wanted my coffee topped off, then charged $4.50 for another cup. So dishonesty and poor treatment turned me away. Too bad. I'll pass.

Yelp
Outstanding. I can't believe that I have to come to Narrowsburg to get a 5 star meal. Best fried chicken and Biscuit in the U.S. and i've eaten this cuisine all over the south. I'm flummoxed and almost angry at how amazing the food is. Words can't express the quality and attention to detail here. You just have to experience it and realize your bar has just moved to the top.
