The Hideaway Pariya Haad Yuan – Secluded Beach Resort in Koh Phangan

The place is very relaxing, on a beach in the middle of the forest. It is located in a national park. To get there you have to take the 4 × 4 or the boat, but if you ask the hotel for help, they will book transport for you free of charge. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious. The only downside is that the water comes out a bit brownish, because it comes from the local water supply tanks and is not connected to the city's water system. So the bathtub shown in the photos is not usable unless you want to bathe in cold, brownish water. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

Extremely friendly staff, when I had problems to solve they did everything they could to help me and were extremely kind. The resort is located in a national park. So the bathtub shown in the photos is not usable unless you want to bathe in cold, brownish water.Also, from Saturday to Sunday night there is a party so if you go for the party it is great but if you go for a rest, be aware that the music volume is very loud.The hotel is being renovated, so I hope that in a while the water problem will also be solved.

What an absolute diamond of a place. If you're looking for a secluded oasis of peace, value for money and amazing service - here's the place. The staff were so attentive and helped with anything and everything we needed. It's a boat journey from haad rin bay to get to which was absolutely easy to manage. Other who said the location was not ideal should research their location before they book. I found the secluded aspect ideal for our wants. Views incredible! Pool wonderful and clean. Swings, beds and relaxing places to rest and relax everywhere. If we return to Koh Phanangn, we will return here! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay

Charming hotel but very poorly located it’s practically impossible to get around. The most disappointing aspect is that the hotel allows outsiders to use the facilities (pool, deck chairs), leaving nothing available for actual guests. Staff don’t intervene when people bring their own alcohol, even though a sign clearly states that outside drinks are prohibited. They allow guests to blast music and smoke their substances, with the smell drifting toward the children, making it unpleasant and impossible to enjoy a peaceful vacation. There’s a lack of food although a menu is provided, we’re told that the items aren’t available. Even bottled water is charged separately, despite having already paid for an inclusive service. The staff make no decisions whatsoever and allow everyone to do as they please, which leads to complete chaos. They show no authority and little respect for the guests. While the staff remain polite, I find the lack of structure quite concerning. The rooms are not soundproof at all—you can hear everything, including people shouting early in the morning with no regard for others. Boats run nonstop throughout the night, and the noise is louder than a tractor struggling to start. It’s incredibly disruptive and makes it nearly impossible to rest. I strongly advise against staying here.

Nice resort with a peaceful atmosphere. The room is clean and comfortable, and the beachfront area is beautiful. A good place to relax.

Not too much to do around, but great place to disconnect and relax… and transfer ride is a fun experience, not for a weak person 😅

Booked a room for the night, when I got there it turns out that although they write there’s air conditioning, there’s not any between 6-8 in the morning. I spent 2500 baht which they didn’t let me get back when I cancelled. Bad service, very not welcoming. According to the comments I can see I’m not the only one who bought this misleading. At least take responsibility if you know you’re misleading people.

I really don’t understand the bad reviews I saw prior to my stay at this place. The resort is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are huge and clean. Staff are super friendly also. Lots of places to relax and chill out. The only downside is the journey to and from the hotel but do your research and be prepared and you are fine. We used the 4 x 4 to and from the hotel. Look not the easiest journeys but you are going into a jungle. You can also get a long boat from Hadrin. Contact the hotel Prior to your stay and they will help you out.
