A good bookshop in Fort William. The customer service is great here and they have a good collection of books from various genres. You can also find some second-hand books on the first floor. I bought some old National Geographic magazines from the 90s from this shop, they have a vast collection of old National Geographic magazines. There are no washrooms in the bookshop, and that's the only drawback I found here.

one of the best bookstores I've been to, such a good selection of book on various topics, very well sorted, also the building is quite calming and invites you to spend quite some time there, I especially enjoyed their selection of feminist literature

A must visit. Beautiful book shop with a lovingly selected range of books, gifts and stationery for the traveler, the mountaineer, the artist, the inquisitive. Go up one level for a nice view of the High Street. Comes with an amazing children’s books section and a second-hand books section too!

What can I say? You can buy my books there. 📚😁🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Check if a copy of "Shadows over Skiary" is still available. My "Highland Crime" series is set in Lochaber and Lochalsh featuring rugged landscapes, remote villages, and a sense of isolation, which adds to the atmosphere of suspense and intrigue. The books delve into local culture, traditions, and history, weaving them into the narrative to create a rich tapestry of characters and settings. I live in the Scottish Highlands and draw inspiration from real-life events, folklore, and historical incidents, infusing my stories with authenticity and depth. If you like "Shetland" you'll love "Highland Crime"!

Incredible bookshop, I was so pleasantly surprised! Amazing female selection with lots of books on women's travels and adventures. Incredibly grateful that I stumbled upon this bookshop during my trip, I bought way too many books there! I wish I had the same in my hometown, I'd go every week.

Lovely bookshop. Huge assortment of OS maps, lots of great books for tourists like us. And look out for the works of local author JD Kirk. We are hooked. Travelling this side of Schotland became a (fictional) crime mystery sight seeing tour!

Good place with a good selection of local history. New books and gifts at the ground floor. It's always good to see bookshops in towns.
