"Rebuilt from the ruins of a house that fell in the burning of Atlanta during the civil war, this historic home now doubles as a historic landmark and event venue. Solomon Pace rebuilt the house between 1865 and 1874. The original 17 room antebellum home was where General Sherman held up and directed his army against Atlanta. Today, it is perfectly charming and the pavilion is a prime spot for a cocktail party." - Station16
The pace house is a great location. The building has a true historic character and the grounds are great for events as well.
There would be lots of options to use the space for events.
The preservation society also does some really nice family events.

My sister's wedding was here and we were super happy with the venue and staff. The only thing we weren't happy about was that we ordered the tent and it didn't end up raining.
