The Hive Singapore Hostel

Stayed here for three nights as a solo traveler . This is a great location for very reasonable price. The rooms are quite clean. There is a huge cat 🐈‍⬛ like a guardian, if you're a cat lover, ha ha. One girl in the staff is very nice (wearing specs) , but there's another mean lady who is strict and disregarded me even at check-in. The customer service can definitely be improved. They have unlimited tea and coffee, but no breakfast You can walk around little India even at night. The Neighbourhood is very safe. There's a great seafood restaurant right in front which is open throughout 24 hours. Cute cafés and restaurants are abundant in the area if you are a food lover. They have a washing machine and an iron , clean bathrooms, showers and sinks. The sleeping pods are pretty spacious. They have a charging point, a table, a mirror and a cool light.

Clean and tidy. Awesome little cubicle rooms. Friendly staff with great WiFi and laundry services.

The bed was pretty nice, lots of privacy, it lights up different brightness which was nice - as per (which isn't the hostel's fault) I was next door to the loudest snorers even with my earplugs I could hear him still. ||Not enough hooks in the bedrooms / locks were too small so could not put my traveller bag in. ||The bathrooms were pretty gross, and no ventilation so the minute you showered you were all sticky again, never felt truly clean. |Location was pretty okay - near stations like Lavender so could get to the airport easy which is basically direct. ||They had free coffee which were actually really nice, the water was warm so I had to fill my bottle up and put in the fridge. |There was no real social aspect - not that I wanted it as I had massive jetlag when I arrived, and was out that afternoon exploring. ||It was average - the bed was pretty cool, but the hostel itself was meh (still it was a very affordable option)

This hostel truly exceeded all expectations. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are spotless, the location is perfect, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. This place sets the bar high for hostels. I'm impressed by their commitment to cleanliness and the vibrant social environment. I can't say enough good things about this hostel. It's like a home away from home, and I'll definitely be returning.

a place for sleep and shower. location is good, bus stop nearby can go anywhere. lot of local food around. walking distance to many spots. free tea bag, coffee and water. capsule is made of plastic, the edge is cracked but not broken yet. receptionist is quite friendly.

If you're on a budget and looking for a hostel to stay in Singapore, The Hive Hostel is worth considering. However, it's not without its drawbacks. We stayed for 2 nights here but wish we had made it just the one. Everything was nice enough, the showers were warm but there was no ventilation in there so I felt sweaty again as soon as I was done showering and trying to dry off. Beds I found very uncomfortable but my partner said they were ok. We stayed in a double pod and it was just a glorified bunk bed with a little more privacy. The door to the pod didnt lock and there were buttons for things like TV but they were non existent. There was a locker but not big enough to fit travelling rucksacks. Could have done with a few more hooks, 4 hooks for a room that could house 6 people wasnt enough. Air con was good in the room though.||Breakfast was self service, bread and spreads for toast, and little egg fryers and juice not much else. ||Staff helped us with purchasing discounted tickets for attractions we wanted to see - Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Skydeck and Adventure Cove waterpark. ||Location wise was its downfall for us. It's near Boon keng MRT line which meant we had a good hour or so trip to get places. We eventually moved to a hostel closer and cheaper near Chinatown which was the same space pod style.||

Well, stayed here for 3 days, it was quite comfortable, the receptionist and staff are very friendly i never met the people as friendly as them when i go to singapore and also the location is strategic if u want to see the concert in singapore national stadium
