Great hotel. Unbeatable value. Room exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do them justice, Very clean, comfortable, and even stylish. Service was very polite and efficient — to-the-point, but in a “here’s everything you need to know, but let us know if you have any questions, and sleep well” kind of way.

Convenient to Manhattan (5 minute walk to PATH train, swipe your credit card at the turnstile; 30 minutes to Penn station). Very clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Quiet business location. Great value with the free parking. Upscale pastries for breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

This place is a hidden gem. It is very close to Newport station and takes less than an hour to reach main attractions in NYC. When we checked in, Harry was extremely helpful. He not only greeted us well and, but also came out of his desk to show us the path to go to Newport station. He also shared a guide map copy of the location. Breakfast is in downstairs in front of reception with 4 seating inside and more outside patio.There is couple of sweets options with juices, yogurt, coffees and fruits. If you are visiting from UK, you might find portion size is a bit big. The room is quite spacious. We took a king room. Although housekeeping is on request, they cleaned our room on the second day, which we were not prepared for.

This place is a hidden gem. It has renovated rooms, which are not large, but are well taken care of and clean, are just right for those spending their entire day in the city. Its a short 10min walk to the PATH which is well lit, and feel safe when walking at night. Let's not forget to mention the FREE parking!

Great small motel, fairly easy to drive to. Free parking, very good free breakfast. Nice comfortable clean quiet room. But, a 12 minute walk from subway, however fine Mall and restaurants close to the subway. Couple of fast food places close to motel...recommend Shadmsn's Restaurant downtown Jersey City.|||||.

The hotel itself was quite standard, which aligned well with my basic expectations. The presence of parking was particularly appreciated, providing essential convenience for those with cars. However, my overall experience was deeply marred by a distressing incident. A valuable diamond ring went missing from my room, and despite being certain of its last known location under the bathroom mirror, it was nowhere to be found upon my return. The situation was exacerbated by the hotel staff's response; instead of offering help or showing empathy, they reacted with hostility and accused me of blaming them for theft. This unprofessional and aggressive behavior made a difficult situation even worse. Despite assurances of investigating the matter, no resolution was provided, leaving me to conclude a significant lapse in both customer service and security at this establishment. In summary, while the hotel meets basic needs with its amenities like parking, the lack of professional handling in serious situations overshadows the practical conveniences.

I hesitate to write a review because this place felt like a hidden gem and part of me wants to keep it hidden! Very affordable for Jersey City and very clean rooms. Also, the free parking and the easy walk to the PATH train make this hotel extra convenient. Even if the furnishings are a bit dated, the hotel was surprisingly quiet for being next to the Holland Tunnel.

Can’t beat the location! A 10 minute walk to transit and the trains take you right into New York! The place was clean, the breakfast fantastic, and the service great! There is 0 sound proofing to the point that if someone opens their door it feels like your own door is being opened and you can hear everything on the street. Overall, would definitely stay again!
