The Hop Diner ( formerly Oasis of Blue Eye)

The Hop is a popular 50's style diner in Blue Eye, MO. It has all the favorites--burgers, sandwiches, pizza, shakes and ice cream. Order at the counter from the friendly staff, and the hot food comes out quickly, delivered to your table or booth. I had a very good tenderloin sandwich and onion rings, and my wife had the Original cheeseburger and crinkle-cut fries. All delicious, served quickly, hot and fresh. Soft drinks are included with the entree, no no need to purchase separately. I recommend the tenderloin - one of the best in the area!

This place sits what seems like the middle of nowhere. We took friends to eat there and we all enjoyed our meals. Very friendly owner and I'd highly recommend grabbing a loaf of her fresh baked sourdough bread. I purchased the jalapeno cheddar and it was excellent.

We came across The Hop Diner by driving past it. This place is amazing! One of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've ever had... you can see the steak pieces and the bun is extremely soft and fresh. The pizza crust was cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered as a group was great!

You go into a tiny building in the middle of nowhere, not expecting much, and are blown away by the taste of the food. You place your order at the counter when you walk in and they bring it to you. Other than that, there isn't a service for refills or anything which you can do yourself. All in all, well worth it.

The food and service was awesome. I had cheesesteak. It was amazing it was so juicy but not at all greasy. My husband had a double cheeseburger. The cheese on it was so flavorful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be making the trip from Branson to blue eye more often.

What an adorable, friendly restaurant! The original cheeseburger and onion rings were great and the wings were phenomenal! We were too full to try a shake but they looked good and there is a variety of yummy-looking flavors. If we lived nearby, we would return often.

Very nice owners and accommodating! Food is awesome and her homemade sour dough bread is top tear! I bought the organic blueberry and lemon sourdough bread and cinnamon loaf!!

Very friendly staff. Food was delicious. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and tots. The sandwich was very good but the tots were the best. They were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked. I do not get out there much but when I do, I will definitely stop again.
