The Hot Chocolatier - St Elmo

So glad we stopped here! As we were driving and looking for a quick lunch, we didn’t want to get fast food and we’re so happy to have spotted this place! The atmosphere is awesome and so is the food. We got a couple sandwiches and a soup and I got the pimento cheesy cheese, a grilled cheese that was bursting with flavor and absolutely amazing. I also decided to try one of their sweets, a chocolate gummy worm, which was very good as well. The staff are also incredibly friendly and the food was to DIE for and the prices were good. Hope we can come back here soon on our next road trip!

I've been wanting to take my daughter here for a while, so the first chilly day of the year, I did. The guy at the counter was awesome, you can tell he was a genuinely good guy. The hot chocolate was delicious and they even made my daughters "less hot" which was a nice touch. Definitely worth the drive and the money, we will be back.

We loved our hot chocolate. My grandson had the strawberry shortcake white, I had the raspberry dark, and my granddaughter had regular with the homemade marshmallow. We recommend all three

Adorable second location of a Chattanooga staple. Open earlier than the Market Street shop - perfect to stop by for coffee and a scone or biscuit on your way to work. Lots of yummy goodies in the pastry cases and bagged items which make great gifts. Shop local!!

Great place for coffee, snack, and dessert! We had a great time for a (5year old) birthday treat and the staff were incredibly hospitable and kind. The chocolate was great, and also the ham and cheese scone.

Had a scone, which they heated, and the Squirrel Mocha. So dang good!! They also had plenty of pastries, truffles and macarons to tempt any taste buds. Great atmosphere and the staff was fantastic.

Absolutely amazing! We just stopped in after church and man we are blown away! I got the ham, onion and cheese scone and it tasted like a loaded biscuit of yumminess. We also got an iced mocha and an iced squirrel mocha. Both delicious. We'll definitely be back. Can't wait to try the sweet treats

I won't do any extensive review here other than to say that I'm thankful I don't live closer to this place - otherwise I'd be way fatter than I already am. I mean, Frozen Hot Chocolate? That's self-contradictory and it's still off the charts delicious. Everything they sell is delicious.

The Hot Chocolatier's newest location! They have been open since early May. They have a variety of chocolates, baked goods, coffee and the absolute star of the show: hot chocolate. I am visiting for the weekend and ended up there twice. I had the Hottie White Chocolate (spicy) the first time and the Froze Hot White Chocolate with toasted marshmallow the second time. I also picked up 5 different macarons. I am already dreaming of what I want the next time and have decided on the European Sipping Chocolate. I can't wait to visit again!

What a cozy spot to enjoy lunch! I ordered the balsamic veggie panini, a couple macaroons and an iced coffee. Delicious!! A super friendly staff, quick service and an overall great place to enjoy a meal.

My boyfriend and I went here, as we saw it passing by, and thank god we did because Stew helped us out and he was super nice and outgoing!! The deserts are really good, totally recommend the cold hot chocolate and the cheddar scone!!
