I stayed at the capitol suite, the room are pretty great and the price is better than other hotel. But there should be some cleaness needed like the floor are dusty, and the balcony should be clean. There are also some insects like gecko and mosquito. The breakfast is the worst part. There isnt even enough food and the bread was even rough.Overall it was pretty good expect the breakfast.

Center place for visitors to stay, visit and shop. The price is fair for the middle class.

We took an escape to Naypyitaw whilst my husband was there on a business trip. And what a find. This small establishment is nothing small. The villas has potential to be an escapade. Layout was great and a Writers paradise. Small details for improvement, because in summer is so hot, fountains or trees with good shade from UV would have brought the place cooler and more resort feeling. Evening and morning walks around the establishment was great. |Breakfast is a tad lacking in variety but I guess is acceptable as with small establishment, there is no volume for variety. But the tea was great quality which is surprising. Lunch was also very good. Impressive with the food. Service staff was attentive and accommodating. |I believe if the landscape can bring the outside temperature to a more acceptable and comfortable range, can be a great escape for many.|Improvements for the room, the beds could be a tad softer.

I only stayed for a night but it was memorable. The property is spread around in well kept lawns and landscaped with bamboo and palms. There is courtesy all around and even if they cannot match it up with their abilities in English, one can get by with smiles and gestures. The restaurant was good for dinner ( the fried rice was great with all the herbs) and also for the adequate ( if partial to the Chinese) breakfast. It was value for money. There is not much in the vicinity by way of shopping or sightseeing, this being a designated hotels area.

The Amara is becoming my regular place to stay during business trips to NPT. It has large and comfortable rooms and seems to always provide reliably good service. A major part of the charm is that it has very spacious grounds and is so quiet at night that you feel you must be the only one staying there.||||Breakfast is not particularly special but they will make eggs to order and the buffet is not bad. A bonus for me has been the delicious Tai Kitchen restaurant, which is right across from the hotel and serves good Thai and Shan dishes. ||||Overall, I would recommend the Amara for anyone looking for a cozy place to stay for a few nights in NPT.

Not surprisingly for Nay Pyi Taw, this is a quiet place, with villas and room blocks scattered hither and yon. I was in the Fantastic block. The Majestic block was on the other side of the eutrophied little lake.||The room was large, with beautiful wooden floor (a destination of the forests) and all mod cons. The balcony was screened by a row of trees whose names I do not know but they were lovely nonetheless.||The food at breakfast and dinner (often alone in the restaurant) was good and the staff ever-so sweet.||There's no pool or gym. You would need to have booked the Grand Amara for those.||It was seemingly a million miles everywhere by car, which is the case for every hotel in the Abode of the Kings, but I managed to stroll the 3 km to the Junction Mall on a couple of occasions, enjoying the spongy grass, the wide footpaths, the lack of traffic, the trees, the occasional butterfly. Take an umbrella if you feel inclined to follow; it's necessary for both sun and rain. ||If you enter the mall downstairs, on the left is a restaurant that's often almost full serving very good Myanmar cuisine. I had an extraordinary gelatinous soup one time that was delicious, which I will never forget. At the entrance there is a pastry section that has equally extraordinary and delicious egg custard tarts. Not to be missed!||

Let say, It is just OK. Bed sheets and towels look like old. Other room facilities are also old. old TV, old bathroom, old towels. Room space is good enough. Service is also good enough.

Always my preferred hotel whenever my business trip to Naypyitaw. Very spacious clean room. Although the building block far from the main lobby, it is always good to have a 5min walk in the morning to the restaurant. Buggy is available whenever you need them.
