If you wish to be a walk away from downtown Charlottetown and all the historic sites, this is the place to be. We stayed in Suite 122 on the lower level, and could park our car (for free) in front of our room. The room itself is modern, open, and bright, and comes with a mini fridge as well as an air conditioning unit that means business. It also has a flat screen TV with a webcam aimed at the double bed, which was a bit strange. I was able to turn the camera away from us so we didn't feel watched. The bathroom itself isn't huge, but has everything you need. The vanity is the narrowest I've ever seen. My wife wasn't a fan of the super bright bathroom light which in her words made her look like "death warmed over." I especially appreciated the fact that all soaps, lotions, and hair products came in refillable, eco-friendly containers instead of in wasteful small plastic tubes. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal! The King bed in our room was fantastic! The mattress was one of the best I've ever slept on, and the pillows were not too firm and yet delightfully supportive. A nice perk is the free weeknight Happy Hour in the lobby where soft drinks, local beer and wine are served. Also free are two regular Specialized bikes that didn't seem to be much in demand. We have to give a big shout out to the lovely breakfast lady who runs a tight but personable ship. Kudos for all the gluten-free offerings (including a separate toaster)!
