This place gives 3 star hotel vibes but it's more of a small high end 2 star. Good: the location is the best thing about the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good. The staff is excellent. The WiFi was fine. The not so good: a lot of little things like slightly dirty tables and chairs on the rooftop, the inside of the mini fridge had hair in it, tons of fruit flies in the eating area at breakfast, and i had a nearly broken towel rack in my room. None of these things were problematic enough for me to be displeased but they're noticable for sure. Depending on the rates, I'd consider booking here in the future

Spent 3 days in this hotel. Good breakfast, good italian restaurant, good rooms, but very small property as a whole. As I had to work all days, i felt i had not enough space to work or spend some time... there is no business area, nor place to wotk. Toilets could be newer. In general, a good hotel. But the view is horrible!

The hotel has a very good location. It is 5 minutes walking to the Barra beach. There is a mall really near to the hotel. The complementary breakfast is decent. The room is comfy. The only problem is the front desk staff. They seem to be there just as an obligation, doing their jobs without any concern about the guest.

The Hotel is located at a great place, right next to the shopping mall and within a 5 minutes walk to the beach and "farol da barra", which is a nice tourist attraction. ||The decoration is very modern and the ambient is cozy, the room was small but well equiped and very confortable. ||The staff is very friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was nice.

The hotel is comfortable, safe, a good breakfast and good TV. The problem is the staff, mainly at front desk who could be more polite .the idea it conveys is that they are not happy with their job. It shows easily. I have make an exception to the front desk lady with " Om Shanti" tattoo on her arm. Super nice! Oh , and beware of drinks price. A small bottle of water may cost you Can$ 2!( R$4,50) . At the beach nearby you buy a bigger one ( sealed bottle) for Can$0,80 or R$ 2) . All in all, i recommend this hotel.

In short, the bathroom was disgusting along with the floors and living areas. Everything looked old. We weren't given sufficient towels. We had to request blankets (blankets!) for the beds, otherwise there were only coarse sheets that felt like sandpaper. Lukewarm water in the showers. Nasty breakfast food. Finally, and most importantly, the majority of the staff could care less about our comfort or anything else. With a few exceptions, they barely made eye contact and seemed annoyed by even the simplest request.

Cons:||||- Very bad breakfast. It's better to go to the shopping mall nearby for breakfast.||||- The bathroom had a very bad humidity smell, at least in my room. It was constantly filled with files due to the humidity, that ended up going to the room. I tried keeping the bathroom door and the room windows open for hours despite the heat, but the smell and the flies remained. There's probably a broken pipe somewhere.||||- The air conditioner restarted every day to the minimum temperature somewhere at night, so I ended up waking up freezing in the morning. The flaps for the AC cannot be moved, and they aim directly to the bed, so I had to turn it off completely to not freeze.||||- The wifi requires you to login every device around once an hour instead of remaining connected. ||||- The sheets are too small for the bed.||||Pros:||||+ Good location, close to the beach, the Barra farol, a big mall and supermarkets.||||+ The restaurant inside is very good.

Stayed at The Hotel during Carnaval 2019 and was very happy for my choice. It is less than 5 minute walk to Avenida Oceanica where one of the main Carnaval routes go down. We were able to walk to and from our "bloco" and "camorote" very easily without having to deal with the stress of closed streets, re-routed buses, or a long walk to get an uber. It was also far away enough from the action to not make significant noise except for a few revelers walking by on the street.||||Location is also right behind a major shopping mall which is perfect for last minute shopping or escape from heat. Supermarket also a block away. Walking distance to two famous Salvador beaches, but we preferred to take the buses (which leave from in front of shopping mall) to further away beaches that are less busy. ||||Breakfast was a highlight with assorted fruits, lots of cakes, cheese bread, juices, eggs. Such a great way to re-charge after a night of Carnaval.
