"Why we love it: A boutique hotel just blocks from the beach with a luxurious, Mediterranean-inspired feel The Highlights: - Spacious guestrooms with balconies overlooking the water - Complimentary kayaks and cruiser bikes to use during your stay - The creative Spanish-fusion fare at on-site restaurant, Castile The Review: Facing the Intracoastal Waterway, The Hotel Zamora is a chic, Spanish Colonial–style property just two blocks from the beach. St. Pete’s first new boutique hotel in decades, it’s proved popular thanks to its exquisite service, daily complimentary happy hour, and amenities like reserved beach chairs, kayaks, and cruiser bikes. Here, dog-friendly rooms come with Frette linens, ergonomic workspaces, and cordless VoIP telephones with voicemail, plus marble-and-tile bathrooms with walk-in spa showers or soaking tubs. Many even boast balconies overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway or Gulf of Mexico. While proximity to the beach is The Hotel Zamora’s greatest asset, the five-slip marina, whirlpool spa, and large, partially covered swimming pool surrounded by cozy furniture certainly don’t hurt. Guests can also look forward to a full-service fitness center as well as rooftop yoga classes. When hunger strikes, they can count on Castile, a sidewalk café meets seaside grill with a Mediterranean-inspired menu and an expansive terrace overlooking the ocean. For drinks, there’s the 360° Rooftop Lounge, offering house cocktails, private cabanas, and prime views of St. Pete’s epic sunsets."

We recently stayed at Hotel Zamora and absolutely loved it. It’s a special little gem with a boutique charm that made our experience feel unique and memorable. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach and close to great local spots. What really stood out was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the entire property was clean, stylish, and well-maintained. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

The property is absolutely beautiful at first glance. The lobby is stylish and welcoming, and my room was spacious and well-appointed. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t live up to the first impression.||The rooftop is a great feature and offers stunning sunset views, but it’s only open on select days (I believe Thursday through Sunday). During my visit, food service on the rooftop was suspended due to the restaurant being too busy, which left several guests disappointed and hungry.||My room’s hairdryer only blew cold air, though I was able to get a replacement. I also ran into issues with payments—on two separate nights, the bartender didn’t have enough cash in the drawer, so I had to charge everything to my room. I had a similar issue when buying toiletries. Since my trip was for business, and the room was billed to a company account, not being able to use cash made reimbursements difficult.||Staffing appears to be an issue, as the hotel seemed short-handed throughout my stay. Service was generally inattentive, and staff didn’t seem particularly friendly or helpful. While the beach access is a nice perk, it wasn’t clearly marked that Hotel Zamora guests could go through the gate labeled “private.”||At checkout, there was no one at the front desk, so I left my keys and left. A few days later, I noticed I had been charged again for the room—even though I had prepaid through a booking site. It took three days and multiple phone calls to have the charge reversed.||Also worth noting: there’s an $80 resort fee plus tax. It’s unclear what this covers, as there was no service at the rooftop or pool during my stay, and housekeeping only visited once during a three-night trip.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Hotel Zamora — I honestly didn’t want to leave! Every single staff member I interacted with was beyond kind and helpful. They made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us throughout the stay. The rooms are big, clean, and beautifully designed — super comfortable with a touch of luxury. The beach is just a short walk away, which made it super easy to go back and forth during the day. One of my favorite parts was the beach cruisers they offer — such a fun way to explore the island and take in the scenery. Everything about this place was beautiful, from the rooftop views to the relaxing vibe. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Google
The hotel was stunning and a perfect location! Great beach access and the rooftop bar was great! It was one of the cleanest and aesthetically pleasing hotels we have been to. Only down fall is the front desk wasn’t too much help and some things seemed a little disorganized. Elevator was broken our whole stay to get to the pool/rooftop. One day the towels were down at the pool and the next we had to get them from the front desk, just little things that seemed randomly organized day to day. Front desk did not explain anything at check in and any questions we had we were just directed to the valet service guys and they always accommodated us. Our bed didn’t have a fitted sheet on it/ stains on the normal sheets (other than that a super clean hotel overall) and the AC didn’t work at first in our room when we arrived.

Google
No words!!! Everything impeccable. Even with rain, the hotel does everything to provide us with the best. The pool is always tidy, towels spread out on the loungers. Pleasant music, food service and divine drinks! Fair prices. When we arrived I didn't like the view from my room that overlooked the beach but the street was a little noisy. They promptly changed the room for a view of the bay and pool. The beautiful rooftop! The hotel manager is careful and attentive. The hotel has a divine smell! Fancy spa smell! The bathroom is super clean! Great room, bed and pillows.

Google
I really enjoyed the Zamora. The rooms are large with comfortable beds. They are beautifully decorated in beach colors, with very large bathrooms. They could use a bit more light. The dining room is elegant and does open at 8 am for breakfast. The pool area is rather small, but has plenty of sitting spaces. The beach is beautiful though across the street, and the staff, with very few exceptions, is very friendly and willing to help.

Google
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Zamora. The restaurant was delicious for everything we had and the wait staff was so friendly. The pool area is beautiful. A short walk across the street to private beach access where they have chairs and umbrella set up for you. We didn’t wanna leave. The room was spacious and a nice shower and high ceilings. Fantastic stay.

Google
Stayed at Hotel Zamora with my spouse and we had an amazing stay. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfy, and the decor is beautiful. The food at their restaurant was awesome and they had a great cocktail menu. We found the staff and the service to be so friendly. There is so much to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I went to a beautiful wedding here recently! Pros - rooftop was all ours, loved the privacy of that! It also gave an amazing panoramic view, which was gorgeous. It was cool to see a lot of the renovations, the newly updated rooms are stunning. Cons - $15 valet parking was the only option, and I was there two nights in a row for the welcome dinner and wedding itself. Would have been nice to have vouchers for the wedding party, or a discount at least.

Yelp
A staycation MUST! This hidden gem in St. Pete is still undergoing renovations but we got the privilege stay here and check them out first hand for my boyfriend's birthday! We had the most amazing experience.. the hospitality was always excellent, the decor feels SUPER luxury now. We enjoys breakfast and dinner at the restaurant there and always had great service and the food was delicious. We also took advantage of the free beach cruisers to ride around for a little scenic tour. We also LOVED the first access to the beach so peaceful and nice and only about a 2 min walk from the hotel. We enjoyed the pool for a little on Saturday and they had a DJ playing which only made the vibes better! The bar was open so we could enjoy drinks while we lounged in the comfy cabana. The location was perfect only about 15 min from downtown so we could still go there if we needed to leave for a little bit still extremely close to the beach where we had an ocean view from our room. The lobby wasn't finished but you can tell they went with the more neutral. simple and clean still and I can't wait to book again and see the finished looked! 12/10 recommend if you are out of town or just need a little staycation.

Yelp
DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!! The venue is beautiful but that's it. The rest is a complete headache and not worth the stress, time or effort. The professionalism is nonexistent from this small boutique hotel. They are rude, over priced and take advantage of the guests. Their service team switches hands frequently which says a lot. Management makes you feel as though your complaints are ridiculous and gaslights you. They nickel and dime you for everything. Don't plan on ever talking to anyone in a timely fashion. Every one of my guests had issues. We are local as recommended this place to others as well which now I am regretting. Seth the bartender made it seem as though everything would have been taken care of on that front the day of the wedding....10 minutes into cocktail hour they ran out of seltzers which were included in our package. My wedding planner had to run out to grab more for my guests...the hotel didn't even flinch.

Yelp
I would like to start off saying that I never leave reviews, but I feel compelled to do so here. I recently stayed at this hotel along with many friends for a wedding. While the hotel is beautiful from the outside, they are fooling you about the experience within. They charge premium prices for a hotel that lacks most the amenities they have promoted on their website. The pool bar was still closed, pool towels were not available until well into the afternoon, at most there were about 7 beach chairs and maybe 3-4 umbrellas on the beach, the rooftop bar was not open daily and many rooms did not receive housekeeping services. No one ever answered the phone at the front desk and when you were rerouted to the reservation line, they would say that the front desk was helping customers check in which we could see was clearly false. Our large group could have chosen many different places to stay, but chose this hotel because of the amenities and the fact that the wedding was being held there. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because the wedding itself was beautiful, besides that, the experience was absolutely NOT worth the price. They also charge a 100$/day incidental fee when I feel like I should have charged them an incidental fee! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Hotel Zamora is a total fake. They charge premium prices for crummy amenities. Don't have your wedding here! The shower has zero water pressure. In deperation I used the handset to try to get the shampoo out of my hair and their cheesy water softener, that is built in you can't bypass it). The stuff gave me hives. The beds are old and have giant dips that i rolled into all night. The towels are cheap and left lint all over my body. The rooms have to tables you can put a drink or a purse on. There are no lights so the rooms have is dark and dismal. The sheets do not fit the bed and are scratchy. This place is misery

Yelp
Great location! Beach access directly across street. Was lucky to catch a beach wedding during my stay. The room was huge! Just like the pictures. Very quiet well built hotel/rooms. Shout out to Alice at front desk! Staff was very nice. Loved my stay and highly recommend. Oh, and the restaurant inside is posh and delicious! Only thing I did not care for was that valet parking is required (part of inflated resort fee) even though the parking spaces were literally feet away and other thing is the go flat feathered pillows, super uncomfortable even with 2 or 3 stacked. Bring your own pillows and enjoy the stay!

Yelp
Yummy restaurant with fresh paella wine and a rooftop bar with a gulf front view! Go here for sunset dinner or a stay It's lovely small and quaint. Great views for a gulf to bay hotel!

Yelp
Wonderful stay at the Hotel Zamora for a much-needed girls weekend. Felt welcomed from the moment your the valet opened your door until you left to head back to reality. Flavored ice water and cookies greet you upon check in (cookies were better than Hilton ). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had lunch at the hotel restaurant which offered a varied selection. Those truffle parm fries were addictive. Post lunch we packed up and made the short trip across the street to the beach. While the hotel isn't on the beach per say, I'm dislike walking in the heat and the walk wasn't an issue. They hotel does provide beach towels. They also have covered chairs - as available. We were luck to be later in the day and snagged three no problem. We wound down the evening with a cocktail to watch the sunset on their rooftop patio and bar. There are lounge chairs and sofas for comfortable seating. The bartender got a little overwhelmed at one point so there was a slight wait for our drinks but reinforcements showed up for a time to help. There's music and if I recall some games like corn hole available. The atmosphere of the property, rooms, restaurant, and common areas are lovely with Spanish inspired lighting and decor. All-in-all definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Yelp
Let me start by saying I never post on here but I just could not let my experience with this hotel go. From the minute we arrived it was nothing but chaos. After booking this hotel in June, we received confirmation for our stay. In addition , we received a confirmation a few days before our arrival on November 15, 2024. When we arrived we were told they did not have our reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. There were 2 girls at the front desk, Camille who was handling us had no clue what she was doing and other than a smile plastered on her face could not help us at all. Maddy the other girl did everything she could to help us since we were there with our entire family for a wedding. After about an hour they found us a room.. great.. one would think! However, upon getting to our room, the door was unlocked and propped open, freshly painted with blue tape still on the walls, no mini fridge in the space designated for it. So we looked around to call front desk but to our shock no phone in the rooms and come to find out none in any of the rooms. Husband goes to take a shower and water starts shooting out everywhere and it won't shut off. He goes down to report this, they send up maintenance and they can't fix it.. really?? So we are told again no other rooms available and we will have to let it run until they get a plumber out the next day!!! Besides the noise of a running shower, condensation starts to build on the walls, ceiling etc. I asked to speak to the manager , Corinne who wouldn't even show her face until the general manager Gilbert comes with her. What an experience dealing with him.. far from pleasant and totally condescending and unprofessional in my opinion. Wouldn't a manager want to check out the room to see the issue with the shower? Long story short, we went back to our room and the cleaning lady (Laura) happened to come in and we told her she might want to hold off due to the condition of the bathroom and what was going on. She decided to look at it and within seconds was able to shut it off!! So a hotel maintenance worker couldn't figure this out but Laura could and the general manager had to call in a plumber after letting this run all night. Seriously a complete overall horrible experience but we were given a small refund but in actuality we should have gotten a full night stay compensated. Needless to say we will never stay at this hotel again!

Yelp
My husband's company held their holiday party here and reserved rooms for everyone to stay overnight. Valet parking appeared to be mandatory at $15 per overnight vehicle. The same gentleman that took our car Saturday evening returned it on Sunday morning - he could not have been more pleasant either time. Check-in was a breeze and Logan was very friendly and helpful. Later in the evening, while trying to find the lone ice machine on the 2nd floor, an employee clearly going elsewhere graciously walked me to the vending area. And in Castille, the on-site restaurant, every host/hostess & server exceeded all expectations of hospitality. Service at The Hotel Zamora was simply outstanding! Our suite was large with a balcony that had a decent view of the intercoastal waterway and a slight view of the gulf. The room's windows overlooked the building next door so all water views were from the balcony. Because we were on the side of the building opposite the entrance & restaurant, it was very quiet! Sunday morning, I was delighted to hear many songbirds over the occasional passing vehicle on Gulf Blvd. We had two queen beds in our room, along with TWO wardrobes for hanging clothes, a desk with a coffeemaker, and a refrigerator. The full length mirror was appreciated, as were all of the pillows. The biggest perk was some kind of air purification machine on the wall... My lungs loved that! But for a newer hotel, I was surprised to find outlets lacking & no USB charging ports. Of course I'd brought a 3-plug block; I found an empty outlet on the extension cord behind the nightstand. While the bathroom was huge, I was confused to find that we were issued only one bath towel. Reminder, this room sleeps FOUR people. Also, the lighting in the bathroom was terrible. We enjoyed having two vanity sinks and a large counter, however both sinks drained ridiculously slow & I had to remove the plugs to empty the basins. The walk-in shower was awesome, with a giant rainhead AND a handheld spray; each had their own temperature handle. Unfortunately, the plastic clip holding the handheld shower head broke off almost immediately so I suspect it was already cracked before we arrived. I also found long blonde hairs stuck in the towel bars on the counter, though the rest of the bathroom was immaculate. We enjoyed our stay at The Hotel Zamora, and as I mentioned previously, the staff was incredible. But the shortcomings in our suite's bathroom were disappointing & inconvenient. I would certainly consider staying here again, now knowing where to mitigate my expectations.

Yelp
Had a really nice stay over all, staff is very nice and most of them were super knowledgeable. Except, there are a few things that need to be addressed. First, the housekeeping doesn't come very consistently. It's a hit or miss if they visit or not. Second, they only provide flavored water. There is not one water fountain in the building besides the fruit flavored water in the lobby. For me, filtered drinking water is a basic necessity and a hotel that doesn't even provide breakfast should at least provide filtered water to drink. Additionally, I spilled some sand on the ground of our room, and I wiped it up with a wet towel, and when I looked at the towel, it was completely covered in dirt. Unfortunately, it looks like they don't really mop very frequently on the tile floor. For the price, it would be nice to see them keeping up with the cleaning in between guests. The beds are really comfy, the hotel is generally very quiet, the employees at the pool and bars are very friendly and helpful, and the brownies are great.

Destiny B.

Yelp
Haven't stayed at the hotel...looks beautiful online. However unable to get ANYONE to answer the phone or answer online inquiries! Was hoping to plan a wedding event...but taking the unresponsive staff as a bad sign.

Joyce P.

Yelp
Not worth the $$$. Arrived to attend an event at this hotel and asked the front desk clerk where the event was. She pointed to her left and said "down that hall". We walked down the hall and only saw empty rooms. We asked again and she just pointed in the same direction, and again said"in one of those rooms." Again, we walked through the rooms, and finally ran into another employee who directed us to the correct area, which was outside downstairs, nowhere near where the clerk said. Our room was awful. Plain Walls, no decor, no water pressure, broken drain, very lumpy and squeaky mattress, pillows like rocks. I've traveled a lot and this is the first negative hotel review I've ever posted. Also they REQUIRE valet parking. No options there. Oh and NO water pressure!!! Not sure if this is normal but when she checked us in she said "Oh you booked through a 3rd party." So maybe that's why the awful room that faced the parking lot???

Yelp
This was my first visit to Hotel Zamora after a long day at St. Pete Beach. My friends and I were all famished and starving, but wanted to eat a good meal before bed. Hotel Zamora welcomed us in 30 before closing and gave us a 5 star experience none the less. The food tasted fresh and high quality. I can't wait to be back for a staycation!

Yelp
Pros: good location, has really cute decor and is clean. love the welcome drinks and flavored water in the lobby a short walk to the beach and chairs/umbrella waiting for you there LOVED my room, make sure you get one facing the water the food and drinks are delicious!! the salads are especially great! the rooftop has the best sunset views and margaritas! Cons: the rooftop sometimes closes before their posted hours if they're not busy enough DO NOT have an event here, too many issues during the 2-day conference we hosted there, and are still trying to get some of them resolved weeks later. They are trying, but need some help.

Julie H.

Yelp
First impressions are the most importan ones...front desk staff, specifinally Kiel, were unprofessional and unhelpful. The hotel is under construction with a makeshift check in desk. Staff should overcompensate for this entry. No smiles, promised phone call when room was ready, as we arrived early, (never happened), requests to speak to the manager which we were given the third degree as to why we wanted to speak to the manager. We travel often and leave many reviews. our dinner at Castile was delicious with top notch service...the rooftop bar was amazing, also with top notch service. The parking valet was great, with the BEST service. But if the Hotel Zamora is claiming to be a "luxury boutique hotel" they'd better have a training session with the first people their guests encounter at the front desk. Service was no better than a Days Inn would have been. And I stay there too...so I know the difference. Do better Hotel Zamora. Make the most of the potential you have by hiring more experienced, courteous, and friendly front desk associates

Yelp
Recently, we were in St. Petersburg Beach for my Mom's birthday weekend, where we booked our stay at The Hotel Zamora. I really enjoyed my time at the Mediterranean-styled boutique hotel, with its gorgeous design, nice pool and rooftop bar areas, as well as a dock for kayaking and boating. The accommodations are lovely. And I enjoyed their breakfast sandwich with bacon. Because bacon. Most hotels tend to be either very underwhelming, touristy, klitzy, trashy, outdated, and underwhelming located in areas known for their beaches. Fortunately, the Hotel Zamora is not one of those. Their reception area and amenities are gorgeous. Their rooms are spacious, comfortable, and provide everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our room comprised two queen-sized beds, a gorgeous balcony overlooking St. Pete Beach and the waterways, a lovely walk-in spa shower with TWO shower heads, two sinks, a separate room for the toilet, plenty of closet space, a safe, a coffee maker, plenty of outlets, and free WiFi. The mattresses were sooooooooo comfortable. I swear to God that I've never felt like I would fall asleep from not being tired as quickly as these mattresses. These mattresses can soothe and put to sleep a screaming baby who is teething. This hotel is a magical realm of realness with gorgeous architecture, sophisticated style, and an ample array of comfort and class.

Yelp
Let me preface my comments by stating that I fully support privately owned businesses so its difficult to leave such negative feedback; however, in this instance, it's very warranted given the lack of responsiveness, follow-through, and resolution. I got married at Hotel Zamora on Sunday, October 3rd. While the property was great, our experience was less than satisfactory. Our primary grievances were as follows: - after we checked out on October 4th and returned home, I immediately called the hotel to inform them that I left two expensive garment bags and a $400 custom made vest in the room. The staff was "not able to locate any of my items". I stayed in room 409A and know for certain the items were left in the room. - secondly, in seeking resolution of this matter, wy wife and I were told that we someone would call us back to address the matter. No one has called us back nor has the issue been resolved. - also, on the morning of October 4th, the morning after our late evening wedding, we were awaken at 8 am by the loud sounds of construction taking place on the 4th floor. I understand situations like this are sometimes inevitable, but we were never made aware that this would happen and a heads up from any of the staff would have went a long way. - on the day of our wedding, the manager on duty during the day was very rude and condescending to my wife. My wife asked to speak to the manager to inquire as to why her mother did not get her room yet even though she paid for early check-in. This was around 3:15 pm. Some phrases stated were "Well, Bride you should try to enjoy your day", "it's your one day that you get Bride". My wife felt she had an aggressive tone, then asked the manager to leave the "get ready" room. My wife had to tell her to leave 3 times before the manager finally left. - during the wedding, the hotel's equipment broke and we were without music for 30 mins during the dance part of our reception. We essentially lost 30 mins of our allocated wedding time. There was no apology or concession made to accommodate the mishap. Unfortunately, there were so many failures along way. These experiences really dampened the specialness of our moment. Unfortunately I can't recommend Hotel Zamora for a stay, wedding, or any organized event. Avoid this place!!!

Yelp
A bit disappointed in my stay. Checked in to spend an anversary with my wife and starting off things looked good. Desk people were friendly, and helped us get a room. Had to wait for housecleaning so we explored town until they called us to let us know the room was ready. Reason given was they were short handed and running behind. Room was clean and no issue with beds, but no way to contact front desk or valet as they said they were remodeling, so had no phones yet, which really wasn't a big issue for me. On the down side, wedding has the roof top bar and restaurant off limits to guest. Seems like cutting service to paying guest to make money from wedding services is a common thread here. This is a good place if you want to sleep as after dark everything closes down. Pool was shut down, Hot tub shut down, at 9:00 which is just after dark. The Bar shuts down everything is shut down leaving nothing much to do other than go to your room and sleep. Yet after they made everyone in the pool area leave and the attendant told us how mad the customers were, a half hour late boaters who parked and had a drink in the bar hit the pools and hot tubs with no one making them leave. I really have no idea what the reasoning is for shutting down the pool area so early. I am not staying another night here as I am moving over to the Don Cesar for tomorrows stay. I do notice that managment takes the time to reply to unhappy guest with apologies for problems with the sites services, but continued apologies only help to show others that hard work to improve matters is not a major prioty. to spend a few minutes typing an apology while continuing to not address issues with customers complaints seems like an easier way out than working to figure out how to make the needed changes to insure as close to 100% customer satisfaction is met. A high cost of the stay doesn't make for memorable stay, but rather extra ordinary service and amenities make it worthwhile to pay the extra cost over other resorts. Thank you for considering my opinions.

Yelp
If I pay JW Marriott rates I don't expect Fairfield Inn rooms! The hotel staff has been excellent. Over the top service. My reason for a 1 star: I booked a spa king room with balcony through a third party vendor. When we arrived we were checked into a regular king room and told the spa rooms with tubs and balconies were not available (why was I able to book a room that wasn't available & why did I have to go to my room to find out?). The hits just keep on coming- the phone charger & fan didn't work, the key quit working 2x's in one night. The coffee station had not been refilled. After considerable back and forth with the front desk their "fix" was to move us to a king room with a balcony. Not perfect.... But ok. Until I went into the bathroom and saw it was an ADA room. The shower head hits below my nose (I'm 5'5") ! Am I paying $400 a night to sit Indian style to take a shower?? Unreal. We are currently on the property for another 5 days and have received no compensation for losing 2 days of our vacation trying to FIX their mix up. I would never recommend this hotel. I travel around the country (pre Covid) as an executive for a fortune 100 company. I have patience with hotels; however, this has pushed my temperament. Add to the laundry list of issues: thread bare towels (ripped) and neighbors in the adjoining room smoking marijuana. Reported to hotel staff, no action taken. I just should have stayed at a big name budget hotel vs. a "high" end boutique. Wasted several thousand dollars.

Pam K.

Yelp
i haven't even checked in yet and my experience is terrible. No one answers the phone - a recording saying the call volume is high. My husband and I are checking in today to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and my birthday. We are local and go to Castile regularly and thought it would be a great place to celebrate. I called to inquire about the availability of early check in today. I was told yes, I could check in at 2pm but the charge would be over $40. I was stunned. If a room is ready, why on earth would they charge extra - and if I were a tourist, arriving early from the airport and my room was ready, would they also charge me extra to get into my room. Was this a charge only because I was calling ahead? Needless to say, I'm very disappointed already but at least I have very low expectations of my actual stay at this point. I'm hopeful though that I'll be posting an updated review with extra stars added.

Yelp
Place was great, the rooms were clean and pet friendly. Staff was absolutely outstanding, the valets were wonderful with help and information, front desk, bar and restaurant were fast and accommodating. Great beach access, price was great. Thankfully we found a wonderful last nights stay, I wish we had only been here first. Will be back 100%.

Freddy C.

Yelp
Great environment, staff, and food. There was a wedding and it looked like everything went well. Not too much in the area but a nice nook close to the beach.

Yelp
I have tried to use this hotel several times. It is "valet parking only". I offered $50.00 to just let me park the sports car. They said no. Got the manager involved. He said no. Street parking in the neighborhood is permit only, $90.00 ticket every two hours. So, in order to buy a meal, I have to turn over my collector car (manual trans, 400 hp) to the youngest, lowest paid employee on the property. For a hamburger.

Yelp
Falls way short on what they charge for. Plumbing sucks! Rooms are small Porters what are they ? Yet they're charging four seasons prices. Total rip-off .

This place has worm larva coming from the showers. Every room. There is mold. Do not shower or use the faucet to brush your teeth. BE AWARE! The management and service are rude. My daughter and her boyfriend went there for a 3 day getaway and now my daughter is so sick. Every sign of mold poisoning. They are under construction and there was constant flooding on the 4th and 3rd floor. BE AWARE!! Do not stay in this place! Needs to be torn down. Management is awful! Maybe because they are successful young people he felt he could just dismiss their complaints. ?? NO EXCUSE! DO NOT STAY HERE! My daughter has been on the phone with the health department all day. If you have stayed here and have a rash, foggy head, sneezing, sinus congestion, headache, wheezing, shortness of breath or cold and flu like symptoms.. and have taken a Covid test and tested negative... please call the Health Department. You may have been exposed to the mold and bugs growing in this hotel.

Yelp
Thank goodness for Logan. Logan, the front desk attendant deserves a raise. The only thing I would recommend about this place is the view and the comfortable bed. Every single employee we came across was absolutely miserable to be at work, and often times confused. The rooms were far too expensive for what this hotel has to offer. Our food at the bar was greasy, drinks were bad and the service even worse and to top it all off our $500 shower was broken... Do your self a favor and stay any where but here.

Yelp
While I did not stay at the Hotel Zamora this time around, my last stay here was so much fun in a clean, trendy and unique hotel. The rooms and beds are very comforting and spacious. And although it isn't directly on the beach, the amenities and 360° rooftop make this a fabulous stay for the prices offered. One perk I truly enjoyed was the unusually shaped pool (so let's just say, it's an unforgettable shape and a must see). The pool area was transformed into a party area while I was there, complete with a DJ and poolside buffet of delicious food. The food and drink at Castille are phenomenal. We had a fantastic charcuterie board and the steaks and seafood here are so fresh and tasty. The old fashioned cocktail is one of my favorites I've had in a long time. Very small fitness room, but we didn't really stay inside much on our trip. Check out the 360° rooftop at sunset. Great Happy Hour specials there from 3 to 7 and priceless views.

Yelp
We booked the hotel over the phone and they didnt say anything about the reservation not being cancellable, when we tried to cancel weeks ahead of the reservation due to travel changes they refused and this resulted in a long dispute with our credit card company and them. Short story: bad business practices, stay away.

Yelp
What an amazing location and stay! Pros: *The king bed and pillows were the nicest out of any hotel we've ever stayed in. *Happily surprised by the quality hair dryer and fridge that kept things plenty cold. *the valet team were super friendly/fast *Castile for lunch was amazing-recommend the lobster salad and truffle fries. *pool lounge chairs are great quality and comfortable. Pool towels available too. *room with patio was wonderful for the breeze *safe neighborhood and quiet side streets to walk around. Cons: *The dual shower heads are a cool feature but no matter the water temp adjustment, one was very hot and the other very cold and there was not way to choose one over having both at the same time. *the pool closed early for a wedding out there and we were not aware til check-in. Not the end of the world but paying that price and not having a private beach + with windy day was disappointing to have to leave as it was getting nice. *there is NOT a private beach as advertised on hotel tonight app. *holiday rate was Very high BUT under the circumstances and last minute trip we bit the bullet. *shared door with room next door enabled late night music to sound like it was in our room.

Yelp
Stayed for Valentine's and had a wonderful time. Hotel rooms were clean and well themed, restaurant was great, and the front desk staff was so helpful in getting us checked in early. The bathroom is amazing! Seriously we both took probably an hour long shower each! I will say the happy hour prices listed on their social media and website do not match the prices at the rooftop bar. We ended up paying double on the rooftop. Also, there was no dessert left once we made it to our Valentine's dinner reservation at the restaurant Castile. However, great server and wonderful bartender that we kept running into over our 2 days there. Props to the outside activities guy too for bringing us drinks to the hot tub in that freezing weather! In the future we'd love to stay again especially if they added room service!

Yelp
Over priced and over cooked. Had the Lobster Mac & Cheese and Bacon wrapped Scallops. Both took a long time to arrive and then seemed to have been sitting under a heat lamp for way too long. Cheese was actually crunchy, pasta was dry and so were the lobster pieces on top. Very disappointed and won't be back.

Yelp
Beautiful views from the rooftop bar. The most overpriced drinks in the Bay area. $30. for 2 well margaritas that tasted like the plastic cup they came in. $5 tip of course and mandatory Valet to park ($5 tip). Grand total $40. for 2 crappy cocktails. Never recommending. Never going back.

Yelp
Can I give this hotel 0 stars? Pros - Close to Don Cesar - No minimum night stay - Waitress at breakfast was sweet Cons - On arrival, provided a trolley for luggage but no one to assist us and luggage trolley upstairs; no one to bring trolley back down. - Teeny tiny pool filled with leaves. The online photos of the pool are totally misleading about the size and luxury of the pool area. - Staff at the pool was outright rude when we asked for chairs. We understood that inclement weather is not our fault, but please talk to us like we are humans, let alone paying guests. - God awful free coffee in lobby. Just don't offer coffee if you're going to give us stuff to burn a hole in our stomachs. - Did not service our room despite being out of the room for 8 hours. We were told at 440pm our rooms would be cleaned before 5pm if we left the room. Um right - like anyone was set to clean our room in the next 20 minutes. Please don't insult our intelligence to appease our concerns. - No beach chairs were given due to the high wind, while this wasn't an issue for the Don Cesar where guests were on beach chairs in the wind. - Unhelpful and rude manager. Upon complaining about the above, Lisette told us there was nothing she could do to rectify our concerns. We did splurge for a 2 bedroom suite and expected a better response. No bottle of wine or even water was offered. - Had to spend an extra $125 person on a day pass at the Don Cesar to have even one enjoyable day. Find somewhere else to stay.

Yelp
One of my favorite things about Hotel Zamora is the location. It's on the bay side (great for a sunrise), but is across the street from beach access. I stayed here 3 nights using a Travelzoo discount voucher (which gave me nearly half off my stay and made it VERY worthwhile). If you want to see a room tour, I've made this quick video: https://youtu.be/0XdJeszVhZg The things I LOVED about Hotel Zamora: *The LOCATION. It's also just 15 mins from downtown and 15 mins to Fort De Soto beach *It's nice there is a pool that is half covered (shade) and it has a bar with some food items. It's not the biggest pool, but it's nice to have access to hangout there *Option to ride bikes, rent kayaks from them What could have BEEN BETTER: *It's not a place to dine at the restaurant (bad reviews) or hang out in the hotel lobby (very small) *The rooftop looks AWESOME, but it currently has very limited hours and is only open weather permitting, so I never got a chance to go *Rooms are comfortable, but dated. I wouldn't call them modern and new, but they are comfortable and adequate *It's valet parking ONLY which means if you were constantly in and out like I was.. bring a wholllllle lotta dolla dolla bills ya'll *Service was hit or miss, but Luis at the front desk was the best. Overall? If it's the right price for you, I'd give it a go. At normal prices, I might reconsider and stay elsewhere, but for my stay, it was perfect!

Yelp
Relaxing stay, we stayed for a long weekend. It was pretty quiet. The rooms and hotel were top notch. And the true measure of any high quality hotel AMAZING showers. Would stay again if in st. Pete area

Yelp
I've stayed at the Don several times and just wanted something a little less touristy. The Hotel Zamora upon checking in had messed up the room I had not only reserved but prepaid. I prepaid as I did not want any issues. When I go away, I research extensively if I need the place for a specific reason (birthday etc) so after about 15 minutes the issue was resolved. They did give us breakfast vouchers for the issue but I would have preferred not to have the wasted 15 minutes and paid for my own meal... The bar in the hotel and on the rooftop do not have all the same alcohol. If you get a drink from the hotel in glass - you can't take it to the rooftop... so you are left to decide do you get the drink you want - but can't drink it where you want... or be where you want and not have the drink you are craving... moronic on so many levels. I did love the puppies being allowed on the rooftop deck - that is fantastic -- and not just little yappy dogs - fun dog sizes! Our room was beautiful with a small patio and my tub view overlooked the Don. Our free breakfast was fine for the food but we had to insist on sitting outside as the waitress did not want to have to go outside for one table.... very pretty but for the money, sadly the Don is the better choice. If you are a hotel that close to the Don, you need to step up your game...

Yelp
Valet parking was horrendous. Arrived an hour early to go to the rooftop bar prior to our reservation at Castille (restaurant within the hotel). We're told the rooftop bar was closed for a wedding so my husband and I said we would walk around for an hour while we waited for our reservation. The valet rudely told us we would be charged $20 if we stepped off property. Following our meal, we went back to valet and handed them our ticket. They proceeded to bring us the wrong vehicle and then charge us the twenty dollars. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel or their service and their food was sub par. Horrible experience.

Yelp
Oh I wish I could give 5 stars!! Pro: staff overall pleasant, helpful, from front desk to valet to maid to bartenders. Restaurant AMAZING. Hotel is beautiful, good gym, rooftop bar and pool relaxing and sophisticated. Rooms large, clean, great views, bed best I've ever had in hotel. Loved soaker tub and extra large shower! Mini fridge nice amenity. Easy to cross street to beach- per staff signs the entrance is private are false; owner of house next door just mad people park there. Cons: No room service. Yes Covid- but no hotel is 5 stars without room service!! They do have selection of booze, drinks, snacks for sale in lobby but not the same. All parking valet parking - all right, but it can be a hassle if you need to duck in and out alot. No real chairs in room - one desk chair, one shrink-like lounging couch- real chair or two would be better!! But the major reason docked second star - NOISE. It was good for week we had little pod to ourselves (set up every two rooms have own little door and lobby, then door to rooms). Last night room next to us checked in - walls may as well be paper. Heard toilet seat drop, water run, regular conversations and TV lile they were in our room. Sad flaw - we would be willing to come again despite small flaws, but our room would have been unlivable due to noise, so we can't imagine going back to stay. But restaurant and rooftop worth return on their own!

Yelp
***ATTN FUTURE BRIDES*** I was planning on getting married here in April of 2024 until issues with booking the rooms/communication issues, etc. It takes calling Hotel Zamora a good 10-15 times until they finally decide to answer. I was told 10 months prior to the date of the wedding, I would receive my room block. (This came from the catering sale manager, Carly) 10 months came, and I was given zero information. I took it upon myself to look at the website and noticed that the day before my wedding, it was blocked off and not letting me book a room. (Which was very concerning because myself, the bride and groom couldn't even book a room). I called the hotel and asked why the date was blocked off from booking. They said a manager will be in touch. I received an email from Carly, that due to renovations, the policy has changed and I would now receive room block information 6 months. (Red flag changing policies when a wedding contract is set in place). I called the hotel and demanded I speak to someone via telephone because I was tired of back and forth emails. I am getting married, I am not just staying for a weekend. This is a huge deal with spending thousands of dollars. This is when I spoke to Tanya, who was HELPFUL and was trying to get to the bottom of it. I sent her an email asking again why the room was blocked off the night before. She sent the email to Jacqueline. I was then told a fishing tournament (that has booked with them the past 8 years) was booked Tuesday-Friday (Friday being my wedding day)..... (RED FLAG). I advised I needed to have a meeting/phone call asap. Fast forward, we had a meeting with Carly and Jacqueline. I was told that the fishing tournament was booked AFTER I SIGNED THE CONTRACT. I asked WHY WAS I NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS? Carly and Jaqueline said don't you worry, there are other hotels in the area. I'm sorry but if I'm spending thousands of dollars, I don't want to stay at another hotel the night before my wedding trying to scramble the morning of to get ready. I asked when would the fishing tournament have to check out of the hotel the day of my wedding? They said 11am. My wedding was taking place to start at 5pm.. another issue was the wedding rehearsal dinner. Due to the fishing tournament I was unable to have one, just a walk through. (RED FLAG). Jacquline advised twice she has been doing this for 15 years and there will be no issues with the fishing tournament. I'm sorry but the lack of communication between the girls at the office from the start makes me concerned. They also had a slip up and advised that the next day after my wedding was another wedding. Not only do I not get to be at the hotel the night before my wedding, the day after is booked for another wedding. I was 7 months away, I had to put a pause on wedding planning trying to figure out this stuff that should have been taken care of when I booked with them back in January. This has made wedding planning an absolute disaster. All in all, Hotel Zamora was biting more than they can chew.

Yelp
First time checking out hotel zamoras (360 rooftop) happy hour. Let me start off by saying the view at the top looking over the beach is beautiful! Especially during the sunset. Now for happy hour, the prices are a little pricey and not many options for happy hour. I did order the chicken wings which were sooooo good and the pulled pork flat bread (which I think needed some sauce, it was a bit flavorless/dry. The two bartenders that were working that night are great! They are very social and funny which pretty much made the night for us. I just wish there were more options for HH.

Yelp
I stayed 3 days at this hotel with my family. As mentioned previously nothing at this hotel was as advertised. Cleanliness was big issue, evenhough we placed sign at the door that we needed our room cleaned nothing was done once we returned from the beach late afternoon. The WORST part was that my daughter woke up with BED BUG bites all over her legs like 9 of them. ( Room 412 B). My older daughter was bitten as well 3 times on her leg , like pattern. We inspected the bed and I found one of the bugs. We complained to the front desk and it seams that stuff was well aware about this problem since no one seamed surprised. We got transfered to the different room on the second floor with no issues; however; the next day my older daughter woke up with bed bug bites on both of her arms. I'm terrified now that we will bring these CREATURES back home and that this vacation will turn to our biggest nightmare. That being said the only positive thing was that vallet stuff were AMAZING! They were nice and helpful during our entire stay! I would suggest looking elsewhere, this place was way over priced and BED BUGS were apparently present everywhere not to mention very thin walls and being able to hear everything next door! See pictures of my kids legs and arms after 3 days of stay at Zamora and avoid this happening to you.

Yelp
Nice boutique type hotel located in St Pete Beach. We went there to go to the roof top bar. The view was beautiful. There was a very nice bar set up and a lot of lounge area besides the bar to sit in. there was also a lot of games available to playing like corn hole and Jenga. definitely a nice place to chill and relax... we had drinks and a few appetizers.

Yelp
This has been such a disappointing experience I don't know where to begin. Not only were there a lack of services that we had come to expect from this Hotel in its better days, there were some genuinely disturbing elements of the place. The "management" seems to be stuck in a loop of covering for each others' lack of professionalism and ability with a schmear of smaltzing "we hope to see you again soon" so you can really experience the excellence you missed on your last visit. Not bloody likely, Maddy, or whatever your smarmy name is. I feel sorry for you and I feel even sorrier when you failed to address the most unpleasant part of the Hotel Zamora. The official Hotel Zamora infestation of bedbugs. And where there are bedbugs can monkeypox be far behind. Florida Board of Health alerted.

Yelp
I visited The Hotel Zamora for a networking event, and I have to say the entire property is gorgeous! it's just block down from The Don Cesar, but still easily accessible to the beach. Their rooftop bar overlooks the gulf and the inlet, with umbrellas for shade and a covered rooftop over the bar. They even host wedding ceremonies and receptions up there. Kind of amazing views, I can only imagine how stunning the photos would be. I hope to be back for a happy hour in the near future, maybe even a staycation.

Yelp
On arrival our room was very humid and uncomfortable. After allowing the AC to run for 2 hours, it did not resolve. Maintenance was sent to our room and offered to provide a commercial dehumidifier. We declined as that would be extremely loud. The front desk was great at changing our room to a much more comfortable room. However, in the new room there was cat or dog food on the ground, the air vents needed desperate changing of the filters, you could see the caked on dust, the shower water drainage was terrible, you were up to your ankles in shower water. The room was very noisy partially from the roadway, and partially from other guests. You could hear other guests conversations clearly. Housekeeping was cleaning the room next to us around 7:30-8am and was also extremely noisy. As stated in other reviews by guests at this hotel, furniture and baseboards have a lot of chipping. The hotel looks very run down. I cannot believe this is a four star hotel. They definitely charge four star prices, but do not provide a four star accommodation. We were unable to discuss our stay with the front desk during checkout, because they were all on the phone. I would not recommend staying here. We did call the day after our visit because we really wanted to express our concerns and disappointment with this hotel. The front desk said no manager works there and hung up on us. I strongly believe whoever owns this hotel genuinely does not care about the guests experience. All of these one star yelp reviews for the past few months? And they continue to charge people and provide terrible experiences? Very dirty rooms, unfriendly staff... they are robbing people of their money and their experiences. AND FYI Madeline, our original room with the humidity issues was a basic room... no balcony.. CHEERS!!! I also attached photos for you and the rest of the viewers to review.

Yelp
A beautiful hotel, however, the customer service here is not good. My husband and I spent our first night as husband and wife at this hotel. The hotel staff could clearly see we were just married (in suit and bridal gown) & they were still incredibly rude. The front desk employee would not even make eye contact with me and everything that came out of her mouth was rude. Extremely disappointed... I thought this hotel would be the perfect place for the special occasion, sadly I was wrong.

Yelp
Hotel was very classy and clean (for the price it better be). The establishment has been only open for about 3 years. When we arrived 40 minutes early (check-in at 4) the front desk stated that our rooms weren't ready but would call me when it was. They called me at 418pm to let me know our rooms were finally ready. I reserved a 2 bedroom suite (came with 7 people including myself) and loved the rooms because of the space and the little touches - rain shower heads, the good quality toiletries and comfortable bedding. I wish we stayed here for more than a night. They offer bicycles, paddle boards and kayaks for use. The rooftop bar is a plus with the views. I never ran into anyone who was unfriendly so I'm really grateful. If I had to stay here again I wouldn't complain at all. I would prefer to go farther down south for better beach areas.
