5 Best Day Trips from Hong Kong

"Created and directed by celebrated Belgian theater mastermind Franco Dragone, The House of Dancing Water is a performance of incredible imagination and technical innovation. The water-based stage production takes place at Dancing Water Theater, Asia’s largest and most successful theater, with 2,000 seats. A dozen hydraulic elevators transform from a solid floor into an open pool that enables performers to dance across the stage one minute and dive into the water the next. Expect to be mesmerized as stars dance, swim, and drive across the stage, ending with a diver plunging into the water from an 85-foot-high platform for the grand finale." - Kate Springer

The Best ever show that i had seen. MY family with young kids enjoyed the show. i purposely buy the ticket in the first 2 row just to let the kids have the feels and enjoy the water splash. Their performance is amazing and looking great. will definitely come back again.

The best show ive ever seen. All the stunts and lights are stunning and mesmerising. Love story with villains and comical characters.I could not keep my eyes off. Sat in row D 518 seat. Didn't get wet, just a bit of drizzle occasionally. The view was excellent 👌 LOVE it!

This is one of those shows you must experience before you die! Mind-blowing acrobatics, breathtaking water effects, and electrifying energy—it gives you goosebumps! The storyline is a bit confusing, but that’s not the point. It’s all about the spectacle and emotions. Tickets are pricey, but 100% worth it. A true must-see!

到此一遊 The House of Dancing Water* at City of Dreams is a breathtaking spectacle, blending acrobatics, dance, theater, and high-diving into a mesmerizing performance. From the moment the show begins, the state-of-the-art stage—a massive pool that transforms seamlessly between water and land—sets the stage for an unforgettable experience. The show’s storyline, a romantic tale of love, conflict, and adventure, may not be its strongest element, but it serves as a beautiful backdrop for the jaw-dropping stunts and choreography. The performers are world-class, executing gravity-defying aerial maneuvers, synchronized swimming, motorcycle stunts, and dramatic high dives with flawless precision. The sheer athleticism and artistry on display are astounding. It’s a must-see for anyone visiting Macau, offering an experience that’s hard to find anywhere else in the world.

How amazing is the STAGE..!! Water, lightings, music and visuals! And this super large group of crew that work together to make this show possible? Come here to watch the house of dancing water, keep this show alive. It is at least worth two hours of your time at least! I agree with some of the reviewers that storyline could be a little lacking as the scenes transition to many different acrobatics scenes to showcase the talents of the casts. And overall, it was still an enjoyable show to experience at least once, if you’re here in Macau. It’s a thrilling and breathtaking experience to watch house of dancing water for the first time. For my second time (around 6 years apart), it was to relive the noatagic experience when I first came to Macau to watch this show.

Bought our tickets through Klook and unexpectedly got the B203 seat which is the splash zone, with poncho provided (nice touch!). The performers are absolutely awesome and the ability to execute the moves with precision puts the audience ooh-ing and aah-ing throughout the show. Motorbike stuntmen were absolutely fabulous. The performers diving into the water from such a height with flawless execution, is comparable (if not better) to Olympic divers! Highly highly recommend to go experience the show. Will try other zones when I am back at Macau next time. Kudos to the entire production crew and thank you for the exceptional work! 👏🏻🫡
