A very valuable idea that kept the memory of Houdini alive. The idea of performing a magic trick at the end of the tour was very interesting and attractive. We bought the ticket without booking on the spot. If you pay in euros, it must be in cash. The limited program lasts fifty minutes. Highly recommended.

Def worth a visit. It’s small…but they have lots of Houdini artifacts, and provide a good peek into history. There’s also a theatre, and a magic show. It was actually really good. And the interior is beautifully done. It’s a great activity to do between activities, if you have something else planned that day, or if you’re looking for a cool spot to hang that doesn’t take up too much time. It’s in an area that’s nice to walk around. We sampled chimney cakes nearby.

Wonderful, we were unsure if we wanted to go or if we had time before we went home. However we are so glad we went it was amazing, the magic show was so good. The whole experience took about 40 minutes. It was very informative and it was a great way to end our trip. You can only pay cash at the desk, if you book in advance you can pay card online. Highly recommend. It worked out about £11 each. Children are welcome.

Good for a short visit and show. Good History about Houdini. The lady told very well about everything in the small museum. Could here her clearly and she made it fun. Specially opening the locked door.

I was not sure if to visit or not, but now i can tell you that it would have been a mistake not to visit. Everything was nice, the museum, the exhibits, the guide was great, and also the show was fun!

A friend recommended this museum to me so when in Budapest we booked online tickets the day before our visit and only had to wait 20 minutes before the next available slot in the morning! The lady staff member gave us a talk and tour of the museum which is quite small but compact with various objects and memorabilia of Houdini and his life and carear over the years.A magic show in the next room was really good and you could purchase items afterwards.

We had a great time at the House of Houdini. We enjoyed the tour and the magic show that Benedict did was awesome. Be sure to sit on the front row to participate in the show. Perfect for all ages.

Great experience. The magic show was excelent and we couldn't figure out the magic tricks. The guide told us about Houdini's life before and after he became famous, and shared with us some of the legends about him we've never heard before.
