The House on the Pink Street

I had the most incredible stay at The House on Pink Street with my family a few weeks ago. The exceptional service began immediately after booking when Margarida sent a welcoming text message. Upon mentioning that it was my daughter's 5th birthday, Margarida surprised us with a small pink cake and balloons on our arrival. It was a delightful gesture that made our stay even more special, especially for my daughter. Margarida provided us with a thorough tour of the apartment and ensured that we felt right at home. The apartment was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the daily treats left for us. Additionally, having access to the hotel amenities and a complimentary breakfast just a block away truly elevated our experience. At the affiliated hotel, we were treated to a complimentary sit-down breakfast every morning. Every aspect of our stay was top-notch, and we are eagerly looking forward to returning. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

We stayed for 2 nights with our adult son; the apartment with very light and spacious, with a good sized sofa bed too. We didn’t use the kitchen facilities but they were enough to self cater. ||The beers, soft drinks and complimentary wine on arrival were all appreciated, as were the additional touches e.g. snacks, water bottles etc. ||Being affiliated to the Corpo Santo hotel meant we could make use of the walking tours and wine tasting which were both excellent.||All the staff were lovely and so helpful, both with questions before our trip and help during.||The only disappointment was that we only discovered after the first morning that breakfast at the Corpo Santo hotel was included in November. We only discovered this by chance, therefore enjoyed that on the second morning. The House on Pink Street could’ve let us know about this beforehand…

I have to be careful reviewing this hotel! I will start by saying I love it, and this will be the only place I stay in Lisbon from now on However I have to carefully mention it’s not for everyone! To begin the location is great, right next to Pink Street, and walkable to a lot of locations in Lisbon by the river! And the retail areas. It is also very close to public transportation, we used Uber most the time because it’s so reasonable at any rate it’s a great location. Margarida is the manager and is old school and knows how to take care of her guests! Her communication is excellent, she runs a very clean and friendly property, her travel tips are invaluable, and she leaves you treats and surprises in your room through the stay! Our room had a full kitchen, with fridge, stove, cooking utensils and plates etc, it also had a washer dryer, the living room was spacious it had a dinner table comfortable couch, tv and lots of windows to let the light in. The separate bedroom had a very comfortable queen bed, more windows and lots of closet space to get organized in. The bath is very clean and has a stand up shower with lots of room, very hot water, and a ton of pressure, one of my favorite showers of all time! The warning is on weekends you can hear some noise from outside! It did not bother us in the least and we didn’t lose any sleep, but it may bother some people, it’s right next to Pink Street one of the biggest party areas in town. Bottom line is if your a little adventurous, and fun loving, I loved the House on Pink Street, it’s a full apartment at hotel costs. The management is 5 stars! Ours included a full sit down breakfast at the hotel a block away that owns the property. If you’re looking for a fun, clean, spacious place in a great location this is it! If you want a snobby standard 5 star hotel look at the Corpo Santo Historical who owns House on Pink Street, it’s about a block away and is a little less adventurous.

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic location. Apartment was quiet, very clean and roomy. The breakfast was outstanding and daily treats delivered to room were a nice surprise. Washing machine and dryer was good although it took a while to work out the drying function. Lots of English options for TV channels. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at the House on Pink Street. |The check in process was smooth. |The unit itself was well stocked and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable. The waterfall shower was lovely. The unit was clean. |The host was responsive when we needed a couple of things, and so very friendly. They even brought a couple of goodies for us to enjoy each day, in addition to the welcome basket of nice jams, crackers, and chips. |The location was excellent, within walking distance to a ton of restaurants and attractions. Pink Street was a lively and fun scene in the evening/night. |One note: if you’re a light sleeper, you will almost certainly notice the noise from outside the building (nothing the host can do about that, they already have noise blocking window shutters and provide ear plugs). The noise didn’t detract from our great stay but I wanted to note it as I know some light sleepers who would have a tough time with it, so it’s something to be aware of (and is to be expected given it’s a party street!).

We cannot say enough good things about this place. The accommodations were beautiful , comfortable and had all we needed and more. It felt more like a 5 star place with all the small touches that were included. The location for exploring was excellent. In addition, it is affiliated with a beautiful hotel with multiple extra amenities. The complimentary breakfast was beyond amazing. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a great one and it was! (My husband wanted to leave a bad review so it would not get overly popular in the event we return and would like to stay again!). I would like to specially acknowledge Margarida as well as Nuno. They took every measure to assure our stay was the best!!! Thank you all for contributing to making our Lisbon adventure an amazingly wonderful one!

My second time staying and my second review so I will simply reiterate the amazing place that this is. This time I must give special shout out to Margarida, the wonderful manager of the location. She really went out of her way to make our stay feel extra special, especially after a bit of a mixup in our booking. Breakfast at the main hotel was fantastic, and the extra treats in the room were amazing. We were upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. Room remains spotless, fully equipped kitchen and fridge with free drinks and water, laundry in room. Free walking tours remain available at the sister historical hotel across the way.||The location is just as great- central in Chiado, close to the main Corpo Santo station, historical districts, Baixa, et. all within walking distance.

We absolutely loved staying at The House on Pink street. The staff took such good care of us, offering excellent local advice and supplying the apartment with many treats for us to enjoy. The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot. The sound proofing is amazing - we did not hear any noise from the nearby bars and restaurants when we were trying to sleep. We are a family of 5 and we stayed in the biggest unit. I highly recommend this for anyone visiting Lisbon!! The photo I included was the sunrise from our window :)
