recently stayed at the Houston for 2 nights and definitely gone down hill since new management has taken over, they have misleading information on their website about the rooms, they have removed the fresh milk and yogurt from the rooms as well as the rooms are supplied with lower quality towels and the rooms aren't serviced so you have to use the same towel for the duration of your stay.
The check in was clumsy at best as none of our codes worked and had to call for new ones, other guests experienced the same problem as us, for a 2 night stay we also got charged an additional $80 service fee on top of the room charge.
The exit gate also didn't work when we tried to leave on the last day and had to reverse back all the way out the main gate.
When we spoke with the office all we got was standard tone deaf response that we were wrong about everything.
