The Hoxton, Poblenou

We had a wonderful stay with spacious, comfortable rooms and truly outstanding service. What stood out the most was the staff’s genuine kindness, everyone was always smiling and eager to help. Jenny made our check-in seamless and took the time to share helpful tips about the city. The breakfast team was also fantastic, they assisted us with selecting safe cheese and bread options due to our allergies, showing great care and attention to detail. We were traveling with a baby. As soon as they noticed, Maria at the front desk prepared a thoughtful goodie bag for our toddler and kindly offered us a late checkout at 1 PM when she realized our son was sleeping. Small gestures like these made a huge difference. This hotel is a must if you are visiting Barcelona. Although the rooftop bar is closed during winter, the views are still absolutely incredible and worth seeing. The hotel is conveniently located next to a shopping mall and about 10 minutes by metro from downtown. It’s worth noting that the nearest metro station is currently under construction, which can make access slightly challenging when traveling with a stroller. Overall, a fantastic experience and a hotel we would gladly return to.

Everything was great, big and tidy rooms, friendly staff, convenient location next to a mall and metro stations. The only annoying thing is the pool bed booking, the pool is only allowed for hotel guests yet you have to pay to get a bed. For the price requested, the pool water should have been maintained better.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at The Hoxton. We let the hotel know about our little one and they made sure to provide us with a crib and other little perks. We would like to do a special thanks to Pau at the front desk for all the help he provided us throughout our stay😊. We were a bit picky because of our little one and he made sure to go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He also gave us some wonderful recommendations and tips to make our trip more enjoyable. We really appreciate it. We would definitely recommend friends and family stay at the Hoxton!

Stayed here for our Anniversary weekend in Barcelona and really appreciated the service when we arrived and the small touch of leaving us a bottle and note in the room to kick off the celebrations. The level of design detail throughout this hotel from the bar downstairs as you enter to the restaurant and bedrooms were 10/10 👌.They’ve created a nice buzz too with live Dj sets and parties! Only small points of feedback would be sometimes when you call reception they take a while to answer which can be frustrating and there’s a slight smell of the toilets when you enter the lobby sometimes and a smell in the lifts which doesn’t match with the aesthetic but could be sorted with a candle burning or freshener but all round great hotel and would stay again!

Our stay was fine! The rooms were amazing and I booked through the disloyalty membership so the rate was good. The bicycles were cool. A few things that made our stay a little bit less like other Hoxton stays: We asked for cleaning throughout our stay on the day of our arrival and it did not happen. We had to ask twice more (stayed five nights). The breakfast was either a la carte or buffet. We did not want buffet style breakfast but a good a la carte breakfast like we are used to from the Hoxton hotels. We were send away to the lobby the first time we took breakfast in the hotel, there was not an option to order in the restaurant. We felt a bit set aside. The second time, yes we had to go a second time because it was too early for other options, we were put in between the lobby and the restaurant, because the lobby was closed and the restaurant for buffet only. After that, everything went wrong. I received an oatmilk cappuccino instead of regular milk, fried eggs instead of scrambled and the scrambled tasted like it was from the buffet (not freshly made). Save to say I do not recommend having breakfast at the hotel.

Federico and Arturo is so incredibly sweet they make my day when i just arrive. They are so warm and kind to offer help before I ask, that's amazing! I really want to say a big THANKS to them❤️. And the room's view is so great. Living here is absolutely the best choice👍

I had a great stay at The Hoxton for a business trip. It was perfect for the work needs, with a professional yet relaxed atmosphere. The spacious room was very comfortable, and I enjoyed a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!

I had a great stay at The Hoxton, Poblenou❤️. The hotel is clean and beautifully designed, with impressive décor full of colors✨. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely. The location is good and conveniently close to public transportation📍. I was excited to visit the terrace, but since my stay was in December🎄, it was closed. I would definitely stay here again.
