The Hub - Pizza and Beer

Loved loved this place. Got trio of dips with pizza dough wedges. Amazing and perfect proportions of dips. We ordered 2 pizzas. King of the Mountain and Capricorn Dancer. They were perfect. Bases and toppings cooked to perfecting. King of the Mountain so much flavour and topped with freshly grated parmisan after it come out of the oven. The Capricorn Dancer. Yummy. All fresh ingredients. The pizza is wood fired. You see the pizzario make then in front of you. With house made dough. It's impressive to see them at work. The place was super clean and they really take pride in what they do. I was observing them clean. Wow. They really impressed me. Had a local cider Apple and Berry, hubby had his 2nd choice beer as first choice was our of stock. Then dessert apple and custard calzone aka apple turnover was a must. The music was delightful. The wood for was lovely and keep the place very warm.

Best pizza I have ever had!! Garlic bread was sensational. Apple Raspberry Cider was delicious!

Delicious pizzas, great service, cozy atmosphere. Wish we weren't in a rush to get somewhere else.

Great spot to eat in derby. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. They serve pizza from 12-9pm which is great if you turn up late to town. Great range of very tasty pizzas and usually have a seasonal special. The tassie ice cream isn't to be missed either

Everything about the Hub is a 10/10! The venue is great and super nice environment! Can highly recommend booking especially on long weekends and particular weekends! The staff are super friendly and good at their jobs! The food is absolutely delicious! From the entrée to the mains to the ice cream! It was overall and excellent experience! Also the owners are very friendly and extremely accommodating!

Went early mid week and had great service, food out very quick and was delicious. Accomodating when we asked to have some toppings removed and/or changed. Dessert calzone was a great surprised on the menu and the staff made the custard fresh for our order. Will be returning if we visit Derby again!

Delicious pizza and garlic bread! Friendly staff and great vibes. Sadly the fire place wasn't on when we got there though 🙁. They also have ice cream, which is nice if you just want to take some away for your Airbnb or whatever.
