We accidentally stepped into The Hub Pizza and Bar around 4 pm just looking for a coffee and ended up having pizza and garlic bread as well. What a surprise. Hands down some of the best food we have had. The pizza was absolutely delicious the garlic bread was perfect and the coffee was great too. The ambience is warm relaxed and welcoming which made the experience even better. A true hidden gem and a must stop by place if you are in the area. Highly recommended.

Loved loved this place.
Got trio of dips with pizza dough wedges. Amazing and perfect proportions of dips.
We ordered 2 pizzas.
King of the Mountain and Capricorn Dancer. They were perfect. Bases and toppings cooked to perfecting.
King of the Mountain so much flavour and topped with freshly grated parmisan after it come out of the oven. The Capricorn Dancer. Yummy.
All fresh ingredients. The pizza is wood fired. You see the pizzario make then in front of you. With house made dough. It's impressive to see them at work.
The place was super clean and they really take pride in what they do. I was observing them clean. Wow. They really impressed me.
Had a local cider Apple and Berry, hubby had his 2nd choice beer as first choice was our of stock.
Then dessert apple and custard calzone aka apple turnover was a must.
The music was delightful. The wood for was lovely and keep the place very warm.

Dropped in on way back from east coast & our guide recommended for ice-cream.
A quaint old building with a small verandah for seating. On entry at left is a very small ice-cream shop (in cone or cup) & $10 for 2 generous scoops in a cone - very good.
There is also a cafe with lots of comfy seating. We didn't dine.
Also wanted 2 takeaway coffees but was told only do dine-in & to go next door- we didn't have time so we missed out on coffees & Derby our $'s (we weren't the only ones on the small bus impacted) - seemed odd for a 'bike tourist' town.

As per other reviews, trip of dips is a must have. Pizzas are incredible, partner is gluten free and had "the best pizza base of my life".
Well worth a stop while passing through derby or after hitting the trails!

Pizza was delicious, and there is quite a variety of flavours. Also a nice selection of ice creams. The atmosphere inside is lovely. One feature is the open kitchen where you can watch the pizzas being made - very cool.
