They came out the gate swinging! After starting off by offering "sourdough scavenger hunts" and pop-ups, they have now planted roots in croton-on-hudson-- just a stone throw away from the train station.
The storefront is small but mighty- offering a nice selection of baked goods, stews, soups, salads, coffee, and, of course, freshly baked bread!
If you want to get your hands on one of their fresh loaves, you better get there early or pre-order online because they sell out fast!
Currently, they have limited store hours, but with such high demand, I'm sure that'll change in no time.
I got the apple oat muffin, which was the perfect bite - chunks of apple and not overly heavy or overly sweet. It feels healthy without tasting too healthy. They also offer a nice cup of coffee with dairy full and dairy free milk options, as well as fair trade raw sugar.
My favorite part was hearing a lady ask a gentleman behind the counter a question, and he said, "Let me go in the back and ask my daughter." A modern vibe and values + a genuine family-run core = the perfect addition to this tiny town.
