The Hump Youth Hostel

Amazing location. Right in the city center. Although the metro is a 15minutes walk away. Very clean, very comfortable stay. The staff were amazing. They have great selection of drinks and food too. And the location is right upstairs a great restaurant. Highly recc. Will book again.

The hotel location is very strategic. Easy access to Nanping Street. The room also very spacious and they clean the room everyday. Overall is very good and nice. Would recommend to my acquaintance.

Room is clean but toilet not as clean as expected. Room is too dim/dark and you have to walk through the bar, full of smokers, to get to room. Not recommended for children. Laundry room is messy. Location is good. Overall ok

Just love the ambience and the environment. The staff so polite and the location so strategic. Near to shopping mall. You can walk and find good restaurants to eat and chagee. Love from Malaysia ppl

This hostel is so good and worth to stay. All the staffs were so helpful and very nice. The room was clean, tidy and comfy. Surely will come and stay here again.

Hump hostel reviewThe hotel is spotless, check in process was smooth. They even allow us for late checkout.I’m surprised by the hotel room.They called it hostel, but the family room is so big, affordable and clean. They do have options for dorm room.I went to their shared toilet and it was so clean, with hairdryers, and sitting toilet (very rare in china)They even have the washing machine and dryer.They allowd us to put our luggage free of charge after we check out. Allowing us to strolling in the city centre while waiting for our flight time.Location wise is also perfectClose with everything.Mosque and halal food literally 4 minutes walk.I will definitely repeat my stay in the hump hostel when i return to kunming. This time, i will bring my family

Good room, clean and comfortable. Our room was at the back so was very quiet and we slept well. Shower pressure was really good. Location was good once you manage to cross the highway infront (turn right when you come out and there's a crossing). Roof terrace is nice though beer prices were quite high for a hostel. Breakfast was good though some tea or coffee with it would have been nice. Overall a good stay.

I like the location, just cross the street to get to the nearest attractions. The rooftop also got the nice view! The bed is too thin, and toilet is shared between males and females. Which i dont like…. Only suitable for 1 night stay.
