This is a very nice and unique hotel. It is small, looks like an inn that has been renovated, though there are many rooms. The ambience is "respected vintage", very cleverly executed. From the Reception, that it is actually the hotel bar, to the vintage elevator with all the contemporary machinery, to the room that gave the feeling of a study. Very rarely I have seen bookshelves in a hotel room. The bed was slightly softer than what we prefer, but everything else was great. The bathroom had all the amenities and it was brilliantly constructed and decorated. There was a cupboard that conveniently and elegantly stored the fridge, a wash basin, the coffee making machines, etc. Very practical, very creative. The clothes storing space was a bit small, but definitely not a problem. The hotel is located very close to the most vibrant part of the city and close to the river. If I have a complaint, this regards the fact that, though we reported a problem with the safe once we arrived, this was never taken care off. I strongly recommend the Inchcolm by Ode Hotels.
