A Stylish Boutique Gem in the Heart of Brisbane The Inchcolm is the kind of boutique hotel that effortlessly blends old-world charm with contemporary elegance. Tucked away in Spring Hill, just a stone’s throw from Brisbane’s city centre, this historic building has been transformed into a super cool, stylish retreat. The rooms have that perfect balance of old-meets-new, with decor that feels both timeless and modern. The beds are incredibly comfy, the pillows are just right, and the overall vibe is one of effortless sophistication. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is ideal—close to everything, yet just far enough away to feel a little more exclusive and relaxed. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with character, comfort, and a touch of luxury, The Inchcolm is a standout choice in Brisbane! Highly recommend.

So very pleased with my stay at the inchcolm - I had the most wonderful weekend! Gorgeous building, really spacious room, fantastic location and super helpful staff. Enjoyed wonderful meals and drinks both nights during my weekend stay and the piano player/singer in the restaurant on the Saturday night was just marvellous! Special thanks to Eden who was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying at the inchcolm again! 10 out of 10!

Stayed here for 2 nights with a Luxury Escapes package, including breakfast and drinks. This is a nice, unique hotel with a lot of character. Our room was large and funky, clean and included everything you need. The bar is groovy and we enjoyed our daily martini. Breakfast was actually provided in the Amora hotel next door, which didn't bother us. Overall a great short break in Brisbane.

A boutique hotel with a charming and old character. Reception was quite funky with retro memorabilia displayed around the bar area. Lovely art work around the corridors. A lovely old style cage lift. Barista Coffee was exceptional. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Ammenities and coffee machine are convenient. Bed is very soft, not to my liking. Unfortunately with such high potential the service is lacking. Rooms are not serviced daily. Reception was not attended for most of Sunday evening. I even saw new guests at reception waiting a long time for service to come. Restaurant/Bar is very small and too cosy for comfort but food was good.

I had a wonderful stay here. Jericho at the front desk was SO HELPFUL and honestly is the reason for the 5 star review. I had trouble with my credit card booking and he worked tirelessly at 10pm on New Year’s Eve to help me get everything fixed. I’m so grateful for his help and kindness!

Visited the restaurant here, what a Hidden gem. Small venue but loaded with atmosphere, with a great solo live act. Not an extensive menu but what they have is really well done. Everyone at our table was extremely happy with our orders. I'd be back in a flash.

If you’re after something different to the large branded hotels, the Inchcolm is for you. It has all the expected features: clean, great location, helpful staff, great food….but it does it all with more style and personality than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Oz. The bar is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a martini and dinner. The staff immediately make you feel like this is a personal and friendly place to stay. The room was terrific, new meets old and done in such a well thought way. We stayed for 2 nights and will definitely be back.

What an ‘Excellent Hotel’!!! 5 Stars from us. It dawned on me, what really sets a hotel above others, & I have concluded . . . genuine hospitality (with a special mention to Brody) whom epitomises genuine hospitality. After a long night of travel arriving late (due to unforeseen circumstances), Brody was so lovely. She felt more like an old friend than staff. She went above & beyond to meet our needs & sets this beautifully designed & artfully styled hotel apart from the others. The hotel offers beautiful all day little snacks such as freshly baked cookies, muffins, shortbread, and much more. ☺️

Yelp
This hotel has one of the best restaurants and bar of the city. They have earned a hat trough hard work, love a passion about food. Definitely a must visit.

Yelp
The rooms in this boutique hotel are luxurious, whimsical and comfortable. No boring beige standard hotel rooms. The room was a very decent size. And quiet, couldn't hear anything else in the hotel/corridors. Bed was sublimely comfortable. Toiletry products were also lovely. We were given some delicious chocolates the first night during turn down. Nothing the next. Not sure if they had been for Valentine's Day or not (put out on the 13/2). The bathroom for me was a mess - not as in not clean, but very poorly designed. The shower makes the whole bathroom flood. It's a decent size just a bad design/layout. Also, I drank a bottle of soft drink out of the mini bar which wasn't replaced the next night. Which meant that a. I couldn't drink it again, & b. made me concerned they'd charge me for it twice. When I mentioned it at check out they hadn't noticed it at all. The location is right across from Central Station, but it is isolated on weekends (by people and open businesses) but it was only a short 10 minute walk for us down to Eagle Pier, and we also walked to Fortitude Valley - which was about a 15-20 minute walk depending on where you were going.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. This hotel probably has the nicest staff I have ever come across. There are only a few minor issues- My air conditioner hadn't been cleaned and was ineffective for most of the stay. (It kept saying on the dashboard it needed cleaning). The bathrooms are small but beautifully designed. However, the room was easy to get wet as the shower door doesn't really have anything to close with. I also lost a phone charger and never heard back from the staff when I enquired about it which was disappointing. However, despite this I would still return. The staff, the restaurant, and the rooms were amazing.
