The Incredible Hulk Coaster

Yeah, Disney is great no doubt, but could they ever build a thrilling coaster like this?! Incredible Hulk has been a special roller coaster ever since islands of adventure opened. Best I could describe is that it is a fast paced coaster with multiple inversions, a surprisingly powerful launch just on the lift hill, and the on board audio was working for me. However, I do feel it needs some track work, as it did feel rough for my experience. Also, I try not to ride too much, as even one ride makes me motion sick afterwards. Simply put, ride the Incredible Hulk coaster.

Absolutely the best roller coaster at Universal! 🎢💚 The launch is powerful, the loops and speed are incredible, and the whole ride keeps your adrenaline pumping from start to finish. They do check before boarding, so you can’t bring anything with you — absolutely all bags, even the smallest ones, must go into the lockers. And surprisingly, in September 2025 the wait time was only about 15 minutes. A must-ride for any thrill seeker!

A classic thrill, but very aggressive! It’s a fun ride with a great launch, but it can be quite jerky. Having dealt with a concussion from this ride in the past due to the restraints, I’d recommend staying tense and keeping your head back. It’s a blast, but once per trip is plenty for us. A larger locker would have been nice to put our backpacks in. Security is tight and you do have to walk through some metal detectors in order to get on the ride. So no keys or cell phones allowed.

Dec 2025. Last of the fast rides for today - James, Normand, and I single-rider lined it straight to the front. Still a great shot out of the top looking at the sky! Reminded me of riding with Josh in 2014.

This green giant of a coaster is hard to miss, with its roaring launch and twisting track visible from across the park. The ride begins with a powerful launch through a tunnel, immediately throwing riders into a series of loops and corkscrews that don’t let up. It’s a classic thrill ride that delivers on speed and intensity, though it lacks the immersive storytelling of newer attractions. Still, the adrenaline rush and iconic presence make it a staple of Islands of Adventure. It’s best enjoyed early in the day or with Express Pass to avoid long waits.

Very similar to the Yukon Striker in Toronto Wonderland, absolute gem of a ride. Not as scary as it may appear and is easy on your body too (ergonomics) compared to the motorcycle 🏍️ ride here where your upper body isn’t really supported much for sudden turns and acceleration. If it wasn’t for the wait times and freezing winds on our evening of visit, I certainly would have done it one more time.

October 2025 Amazing Ride!💚🎢 Definitely recommended! This ride was amazing with the loops and turns and the upside down loops! I definitely recommend doing this before Velocicoaster. This has been a great ride ever since it opened and it is truly so fun. Definetly for kids over 12+ depending on their roller coaster tolerance and height. The height limit is only 54’ inches which is amazing and great for kids and teens. The start is amazing with a huge blast off out of the tunnel. This is definitely not a scary ride at all. Mostly fun and enjoyable. We do have to go through metal detectors which slows down just a tad bit depending on the amount of people. If there is a long wait, I recommend not going straight away because you cannot bring anything with you except for lanyards and small items like watches and bracelets. No loose articles though including small bags, phones, or wallets. Overall, defiantly recommend, it is way slower than Velocicoaster which is a great coaster also. This has been thrilling since it first opened decades ago. The front seat is highly recommended and worth the extra wait. It is not as smooth as the newer Velocivoaster, but it was the best in its day and definitely oozes The Incredible Hulk feel perfectly!
