The Independent Hotel

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s really close to Rome termini station and walkable to a lot of attractions. We also liked the breakfast at the rooftop and really appreciated Michelly’s excellent service (she really cares for the guests!). I also want to give a shoutout to Lamin who helped us a lot during our stay (from setting up a bed to storing luggage). He was always happy to help and was a joy to talk to. The employees of this hotel really make it stand out!

Great location, close to the train station and within 30 min walk to a lot of attractions. Hotel is inviting and the standards are very good. A good breakfast range which you have from the rooftop, so you can admire the views and sunrise. All staff were friendly and helpful especially Michelley, who is a credit to the hotel.

Really good breakfast in my opinion, and it's super close to Roma Termini. The eggs were a wet style, which you can somewhat see in the picture. There was a really nice view too, and it's not just for breakfast either as they serve drinks there at night. For reference we stayed here in November in 2025. We also enjoyed our rooms, which were a good size compared to your typical room in Europe.

The Independent Hotel was great! The staff were very helpful, check in was a breeze. The rooms were very well appointed. We arrived by train and it was literally a 5 min walk, once you reach the Main Street after exiting the train station the hotel was across the road. The breakfast included was also served on the roof top at Terrazza Cielo. Will definitely stay here again.

From the moment we arrived at The Indepedant Hotel we where greeted by Lamin who took our cases and escorted us to the desk ,check in was quick and very efficient by the time we where had our key Lamin had our cases at rooms, he explained everything to us even the best temperature for the room as it was very hot outside. Room was beautiful very clean and well stocked loved the small touches of a welcome card and wine. View from balcony was just stunning we looked over the Diocletian baths. Roof bar was amazing with stunning views and staf where very attentive and friendly, we enjoyed breakfast there and you where greeted every morning with a smile and a hug if you wanted they very quickly got to know you. You did not leave satisfied from cereals to fruit to continental or hot food all tastes catered for and to sit outside in the sun with those views and enjoy your morning tea for me was heaven and set me up for my day ahead. Michele and staff in the bar were wonderful always a smile a little chat and nothing was a problem. The hotel was just amazing and added to our wonderful experience in Rome. |Lamin, Michele and all staff where wonderful. Thankyou Independent you did not disappoint we will be back xx

Location was fabulous as we arrived on the train. It was easy enough to walk into town for the main attractions. We had a family room and it was plenty spacious for the four of us. The roof bar had stunning views over Rome and very good service. Everyone was friendly and helpful

Fantastic hotel in a great location to get around all that Rome has to offer. I was really impressed with the staff who were brilliantly friendly and helpful. The roof terrace tops off a great place to stay with fantastic views and great cocktails. I will definitely stay here again when I revisit Rome.

Only few hundred meters from Roma Termini train station. Friendly staff, good room service and excellent continental breakfast. While it’s just beside Termini Station, you may need to use metro regularly if you plan to spend your time in the city centre.
