"How did it strike you on arrival?Palm tree-lined gardens give way to a modern-looking country club-hotel hybrid. There’s an understated, quiet grandiosity to the sleek pyramid-shaped roofs and muted colors. What’s the crowd like? The crowd's a mix of golf-casual and marina-chic, simultaneously dressed down and buttoned up—it's amazing what a bit of Ralph Lauren can do. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.My Tennis View Queen had, unsurprisingly, views of the tennis facility, but with plenty of lush greenery to offset any dullness. The teal and cream color scheme was beachy and calming, with a hit of bright, floral curtains for charm, and the comfortable linens and mattresses lived up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? There wasn’t much that was surprising, though a complimentary shoe-shining and pant-pressing service was a nice touch. Presumably, it's a feature often used by the well-heeled folk who stay here. Important question: What's the food situation like? There are half a dozen or so dining options in and around the larger resort area that the hotel is part of. Links, An American Grill is a good spot to hit after you play 18. And the staff? Friendly and accommodating, or something to be desired?Maybe it's too easy to think kindly the check-in staff—they are offering you a glass of champagne on arrival, after all—but the welcome was genuinely warm and professional. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The resort's three world-class golf courses are one of the main reasons for staying here, and fans of the links will find themselves extremely well-cared for. Bottom line: worth it, and why?The hotel is plenty nice, and being part of a larger resort means that the choice of amenities alone should keep it high on any visitor’s list." - Paul Oswell

We had the most amazing vacation at The Inn and Club at Harbour Town! From the moment we arrived, the service was truly exceptional. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every need is met and every guest feels genuinely cared for. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. The grounds are absolutely stunning, adding to the peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return!

We came for a little weekend getaway and had the best time. From the moment we stepped onto the property we had amazing service, Ayush and Crizelle made our day every time we passed by. However the whole staff makes it a point to remember your name and make sure you are enjoying the stay. There are great food options, wonderful views and so much to do. We will be back!

Without a doubt, “the” place to stay on Hilton Head for the discerning traveler. Elegance and service abound. No, it’s not a sprawling resort, but what it is is a sophisticated and serenely peaceful oasis away tucked away from the busier parts of the Island. The staff are quick to remember guests and their preferences, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Each with an oversized bathroom with a tub and many with balconies. Twice daily housekeeping that showed impressive attention to detail. The property is situated a stone’s throw from Harbour Town as well as the golf club, and any number of other amenities are a short shuttle ride away. I’ve now stayed here a number of times and will continue to do so. I really wouldn’t change a thing—please, Sea Pines, maintain the classic and elegant ambiance of this hotel. Oh, and a special mention for bartender extraordinaire Janet who helped make my visit memorable.

We are eagerly anticipating our return! Our experience was truly exceptional. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of, from the front desk to the drivers, butlers, and room service. Our room had a lovely view of the course, and we enjoyed watching people tee off on hole 1. The pool was a favorite spot for us, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Although we were disappointed that the hot tub was undergoing maintenance, the overall experience was still fantastic. A special thank you to Mason and Grady for their excellent baggage handling and chauffeur services. Nagisa, Emily and Aimee at the front desk were outstanding, and we must give a super special shoutout to Janet! Her espresso martinis were amazing, making them some of the best we've ever had. We can't wait to return to Sea Pines, and we will definitely be staying here again because of the exceptional hospitality.

Absolutely a 5 star stay!! From the second we checked in we were greeted with kindness and hospitality. We traveled with our child and upon checkin in his crib was already set up with sheets, a toy and baby shampoo. The rooms were so clean and the property was absolutely beautiful! Truly the attentive, joyful and kind staff made the stay extra wonderful! Thank you!

We have visited as a family of 4 and we have loved every moment. We have never visited the south before but this seems to be true southern hospitality. From the moment you walk in the staff can not be more helpful. Naggi, Rodel and Angus made check in great and any help we needed along the way was never an isssie. Janet and Justin at the bar go beyond every time and make an evening at the Inn a perfect place to be! Grady and Mason make it so smooth to go anywhere on the island. You have to visit is all we can say! We will be back

We just returned home after a 5-night stay at The Inn & Club at Harbor Town, and honestly cannot wait to go back. From the moment we arrived at the Inn to the good-bye upon departure, every staff member we interacted with was amazing. Julie the General Manager, John, and Grady were always super helpful and accommodating. The Inn is an oasis in the middle of Sea Pines, the transportation to the beach, beach chairs and towels make a trip to the beach so much more enjoyable. The Housekeeping team was on point and turn down was a wonderful surprise. We visited many restaurants in the area and do not miss the ice cream at Harbor Town. We cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful view from the room. Super friendly and attentive staff. Grounds are very well kept.

Yelp
The rooms are in need of a renovation (see photographs) and a deep cleaning. Service was generally great. I would return after a renovation but would opt to try other spots until then.

Yelp
Really nice staff, but like the reviewers here said, the place was dirty (there was half a Splenda packet that had been ripped in the shower), and there are next to zero amenities. You need to drive around for everything, which is frustrating because a lot of things close super early around 15:00.

Yelp
Had high expectations but so far have found this place completely underwhelming. Given the high rates, and glowing US News review, we were expecting this to be of a similar caliber as the Montage Palmetto Bluff (which we greatly enjoyed). However, as others have mentioned, the hotel has few amenities. There is no spa. The gym is minuscule. The room is fine but a little dated. No bellman upon arrival. The pool is quite small and did not have any real service. (They were out of towels most of the time that I was there.) There is also no real dining in the lobby of the hotel. I was told I could order drinks and food at the bar, which was often overwhelmed by guests trying to order from a single bartender. I ordered a dozen oysters and some lobster and both were delivered to me in to-go containers in a paper bag with no utensils. The oysters were stacked on top of each other and were not properly cleaned out. I let the front desk know that I was expecting the food to be plated and they basically dismissed my concerns, saying that the food ordered at the bar is always in to-go containers. I'm quite perplexed as to how this place is considered a 5 star hotel.

Yelp
The property is absolutely lovely and inviting. I was impressed by the professionalism of staff and the inn is immaculate. We cannot wait to return.

Yelp
The Inn at Harbour Town is in a great golf location within the Sea Pines Resort. The rooms are impeccable with high end bedding and a beautiful bathroom. The staff is friendly and attentive. The view from the back patio is splendid. My issue is how it is oversold on amenities. First, there is no dining within the hotel, there's no place to purchase snacks, drinks or even pastries in the morning. You must walk to another destination to get anything except coffee in the morning or for a limited time, there a very small bar window in the evenings. The receptionist will leave her desk to make a cappuccino for a charge as well. There's no service on the outside patio, pool or otherwise. The "spa" mentioned is the one in the town center, a mile away. It was not that luxurious at all. Basically a service table in a walk in closet. So insanely tiny. The 24 hr room service is non existent. I pushed the room service button. It went to the front desk to patched me in to the golf club to the next door golf club "Links restaurant." The process is Links calls the front desk to get your order. An hour and a half later, I called to check on this and Links had forgotten to make it. I was frustrated and cancelled it. There are no snacks and drinks for purchase from the room as stated. I'm sure they would say it is Covid 19 related. There's no cooler with water or beach service this time a year. The fitness is over a mile away. When we wanted to use the included bikes, they didn't have enough for our party of 7. We had three rooms between us. There was no newspaper that I saw and the players library was a small yet comfortable room with a couch, a few chairs and a chess set up. I think this Inn serves a purpose, for golfers who want to play rounds non stop. It's not an ideal set up for those looking for a real full service resort. I just chose the wrong accommodations for a family not wanting to work that hard at it. They were kind in giving me a credit that I truly appreciated, but I want to make sure potential customers understand this layout is not super family friendly as most resort style accommodations would be. I'd recommend it for the right type of clients spending the bulk of time outside of the hotel.

Yelp
We made these plans a few months ago after I stayed at Seapines in February. This was a special trip for my me, my mom, and son who turned 18. I had them cancel the Marriott reservation my my mom had made because my stay in February at The Inn was outstanding. She canceled the Marriott and we knew that paying double the price here would be worth it for this special trip. We checked in the 28th of March. Once in our room I noticed food crumbs all over the floor around both beds. There were no waters, slippers, or robes in the room. There was a stain on the sheet, and a dried up liquid stains on bathroom cabinets. We also had the dreadful black hair by tub. I called down to complain and was told they were short on water and they came up and vacuumed, apologized and gave us 100.00 credit. Ok fine thanks but please move us or deep clean this 300.00 room. We were promised that would happen. We also received turn down service only on one night. We had to make phone calls down for robes, water every night. The next day we left to go explore and came back to our room hours later. There were no waters, a cleaning spray bottle was left in our room, the dried up stain in bathroom was still there, and no turn down service. There was also a used glove in the hall way. I went down to order a rum and Diet Coke and I was told they were out of Diet Coke. What the heck! On our third day I called to have them make reservation at Coast. I was put on hold for over 12 minutes. When I arrived back at the hotel I went in with my phone still on hold and was told sorry we lost your phone call. What?!? I'm still on hold with your Seapine recorded message being played in the background. I have sent several emails to the GM and a reservation specialist to try and talk about all the things that went wrong. I have not had any response. We also went to Coast and paid over 200.00 for a major mediocre meal. I would say go for the view and have a drink but save your money for better restaurants. Actually save your money this place is not cheap. If I am paying 300-400 dollars a night for a room I expect things to reflect a high end hotel. There are too many other places to stay. I wish we would have saved our money and kept our other hotel reservation.
