We had a wedding 3-day event at Abeja. The property was incredible from the farmhouse and bungalows, to the barn, tasting room, garden and pond - the location was immaculate. Even better was the staff - from the house staff, to the servers, and coordinators (Event Coordinator Anna and Inn Coordinator Sierra and her assistant Leticia), Abeja staff make every guest feel special. They consistently followed up to make sure everyone's needs were met. The food is NEXT LEVEL! Chef Mike Easton is incredibly talented. We needed a dairy free weekend, and his food was succulent, high quality and left everyone amazed at the taste, presentation, and quality of the meals.

On the fly we decided to head over to Walla Walla from Seattle. Found The Inn at Abeja from Tripadvisor, called their phone number and lucky enough to be able to get a room at The Farmhouse. Probably one of the nicest properties we've ever stayed and the staff are amazing. Spent lots of time walking the grounds and sitting outside looking at the stars at night.||||The breakfast each day was delicious, their wines were very good and we brought home a few bottles to enjoy at home. Thank you for such a wonderful spur of the moment trip.

Fabulous breakfasts, clean rooms (we had in-floor heating in our room!), and beautiful well-kept grounds. Staff was friendly and personable.

This was our second visit to The Inn at Abeja, and it truly was another amazing visit. Our room (The Edison House) was perfect for the two of us, and it overlooked the mountains, stream, and covered bridge. The vineyard is so pretty to walk through, even during the winter. Breakfast is included and the food is incredible! We were there for the Walla Walla Restaurant Month so there was a special dinner menu with optional wine pairings. Dinner was spectacular, with the hanger steak and sablefish being cooked to perfection. Avail yourself of the wine tasting when you are there. The sommeliers are very knowledgeable and will answer all your questions. The staff are SO friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We cannot wait to go back!

I cannot express in words just how special this place is to me and my wife. The grounds, staff, service and facilities are all amazing. This was a last minute excursion. We were traveling with my sister and her husband, neither of which are wine lovers. We booked the Carriage House suite for 3 nights. We love this suite because it has 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. Our ideal stay at Abeja consists of visiting 3 wineries during the day, then cooking our dinner and eating outside. We then spend the evening sitting on the Adirondack chairs drinking wine. This is complete relaxation for us. We have, over the years, stayed in the Summer Kitchen and the Locust Suite. Those are both great as well. ||My sister, who did not want to go because she doesn’t like wine, said it was the best vacation she has ever been on. This is high praise given that she has spent time in Europe and the Caribbean. At the end of the 3 nights, she wanted to stay longer.||I should also mention that the wine is outstanding at Abeja. Likewise, the location is close to all the wineries. Even the south side wineries over the border in Oregon are only 20 minutes away. ||We live in Ohio. Getting to Walla Walla is not easy. But Abeja makes it well worth the effort.

Google
An exceptional place. Thoughtful, charming accommodations, a terrific team, and great wine. We’re enjoying the Summer Kitchen, but other rooms and cottages here look wonderful too. Breakfasts are delicious, a bit decadent. Would love to return for a summer or autumn stay.

This winery with cottages is so much fun. And the food by Chef Jake is delicious. And the hospitality by the staff is gracious and friendly. And the Inn Manager, Sierra, is right on every detail to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. And to top it all off, the wine is also delicious. We took our two little dogs, Pinot and Tagge and they loved their vacation too. The estate of 38 acres is so lovely. The surrounding landscape and countryside is so beautiful. Go there. You will discover a fantastic getaway.

This is the most incredible experience. ||The staff and facility is beyond our expectations.||The room, the food, the wine. ||All in one package.

Yelp
Luxury at home and nature. This is a real gem in Walla Walla, this place is unique and its each room has its own character; imagine sipping a complimentary wine by the vineyards or having a cup of coffee watching the sunrise or sunset or just simply resting in the hammock reading a book while listening to the sounds of creek and crickets so beautiful, I got to stay in Locust suit and summer kitchen, love love it, thanks to Sierra and Juanna, look forward them, they are the best!

Yelp
Staying at Inn at Abeja was one of the most fabulous, unique and relaxing experiences of my lifetime. We were greeted with the warmest welcome including our dogs who got fresh baked treats daily. Abeja wine is spectacular, plus the guesthouses and gardens are all gorgeous. By far the highlight of our Walla Walla adventure

Yelp
So enjoyed both stays here - the first time in The Bunkhouse and the second time in The Chicken Coop. One of our stays (two nights each time) was in summer and one during harvest. Each time was delightful. Abeja is a working winery, and they produce top notch wine, so it is treat to stay at the Inn which is really five different buildings on the grounds of what was once an old farm and now a winery surrounded by vineyards. It is typically tough to get reservations. Maybe that's because not only are the guest set ups charming but the grounds are open to wander for more great experience and the full breakfast served in the beautiful main (barn?) building is pretty special too. The Innkeeper had changed between visit one and visit two, but each time we enjoyed great service. In addition to the Bunkhouse, a bit away from the other units (the least expensive at $200 and up per night) and the Chicken Coop, which backs to a creek with lovely privacy in the rear, ($240 and up)) there is also the Carriage House Suite ($450 and up), the Summer Kitchen ($265 and up),and the Locust ($265 and up), which like the Chicken Coop backs to the creek. Bathrooms are "cozy" - meaning small. The Bunkhouse bath is shower over clawfoot tub. Chicken Coop and Locust both have showers, not tubs. A neat element for the Bunkhouse, was that it had a hammock in the back yard, for napping after Wall Walla winery visits and a front porch for morning coffee sipping. Each unit has a full kitchen in addition to bedroom, bath and living rooms. And that can come in handy given this is a ways out of town to the eastside. So if you don't want to dine in Walla Walla in the evening, you can enjoy take out using the kitchen to heat and prep, open a bottle of wine and savor the setting. We probably won't stay here again...the first time was on us and the second two night stay was a gift from good friends (who specifically requested the Coop for us knowing our affection for roosters and chickens.). But it is definitely worth the effort to make a reservation and if you're visiting Walla Walla for a couple of days, you really should treat yourself to the Inn at Abeja at least once. One last tip...even guests of the Inn must have an appointment for wine tasting if you want to do that at the Abeja winery. Or at least that was our experience on both visits. So remember to make those reservations too!

Yelp
We stayed at the Inn at Abeja last week for two nights for a birthday celebration. One word to describe our experience: DREAMY. We booked the Carriage House Suite, which has two bedrooms, each with a king size bed and their own private bathroom, a living room, a kitchen and an outdoor patio. It was gorgeous, well appointed, with great bath amenities, very clean and super comfortable. The Inn also offered a delicious complimentary breakfast delivered to our room every morning (they catered to my dietary restrictions), outdoor games, a glass of wine upon arrival and a complimentary wine tasting of Abeja's wine. The surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond in every way (such nice people!). What else can you ask for? Would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a magical stay in Walla Walla. We'll definitely return!

Yelp
This was a superior experience and the breakfast was comforting, elegant and different every day.

Yelp
Inn at Abeja is an incredible place to stay and dine. The grounds are immaculate -- tended to with a refined eye. The food is outstanding. We booked one dinner during our stay (the amazing chef created a wonderful special vegan menu for us) --wonderful flavor combinations, seasonal ingredients. This meal will be fondly remembered for a long time.

Yelp
My family spent Memorial Weekend at Abeja in the massive elegant Farmhouse. This was our 5th visit in the past year. Obviously, we love it there! We have also stayed in the Carriage House, Hayloft, and Chicken Coup. They are all wonderful and unique with their own styles. Each has so many special personal touches. Abeja's innkeeper, Mary, is who makes the magic happen! She greets each guest with a smile and warmth as though they are an old friend. During breakfast, Mary stops by each table and sits and chats with her guests. She is a wealth of information about Abeja and the Walla Walla area. Mary's kitchen and housekeeping staff are just as welcoming and attentive. I'm sure it's very busy behind the scenes, but all you feel is peace and relaxation. That says a lot! The attention to detail is amazing at Abeja. You would never have this serene experience at a chain hotel. If you need a bottle or more of Abeja's impressive wine, you will have it hand delivered to your place. The grounds at Abeja are gorgeous. We love strolling down to the creek below and sitting on the patio above. Next to the patio is the cutest courtyard garden. On cooler nights, the firepit is a gathering place to get to know the other guests and have a glass of wine. The 2 grassy areas are great to sit and enjoy the scenery. The accommodations at Abeja are top notch. The grounds are top notch. Mary and her staff are top notch. Each breakfast is deliciously top notch. The wine is top notch. I'm not sure what more Abeja could do to improve your experience there, maybe a vegetable garden and bee boxes!

Yelp
Quiet and peaceful. This is a wonderful place to come and just enjoy. We hope to make it a yearly event. The grounds are beautiful and our accommodations were just perfect. We stayed in the bunkhouse. It reminded me of my grandma's house in Pennsylvania. Decorated so warmly. Our breakfast served in their beautiful dining area was wonderful. The views are just amazing.

Yelp
If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. We stayed here last October for a Whitman reunion. We stayed in the Locust Suite and our friends stayed in one portion of the Carriage House Suite. Each suite is individually decorated with beautiful, cozy furniture. The beds and pillows are lovely. A small touch, but the honey soap is just fabulous .... The innkeeper was very nice and appropriately absent. The breakfasts were delicous. We enjoyed the wine tasting. We were fortunate enough to be there during last year's crush. The winemaker was very accomodating in answering my numerous questions! You do have to plan ahead as they open reservations on October 1st of each year and they fill up quickly. However, it's absolutely worth the planning and the price.

Yelp
Stayed here for a Whitman College graduation. Grounds were beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Carriage houses were very well appointed but small guest house had a cat pee odor issue that despite multiple emails to the inn keeper was never addressed. Carriage house - 5 stars Small guest house - 0 stars Service - 1 star Would stay there again in one of the carriage houses because they were so nice - would never stay in the small guest house.

Yelp
A lovingly restored and newly built Inn which preserves ones privacy, yet offers the handcrafted care of a Bed and Breakfast experience. Breakfasts were amazing and of course the wine (it is a working winery) is renowned. Perfection.

Yelp
My husband and I traveled with another couple and stayed in the Carriage House Suite. It was absolutely perfect. Cozy, comfortable beds (I am buying a set of the sheets they were so comfortable) and decorated very upscale cottage. Thick towels, the best of toiletries, etc. The Innkeeper, Mary, was a true delight. Breakfast each morning was a treat - Huevos rancheros, lemon pancakes, with options of steel cut oatmeal with fresh raspberries, fresh squeezed orange juice and plenty of good coffee. The grounds are beautiful. The wine was really great too - although we were a little early in the season to try very many vintages.

Yelp
Stunning. Attention to detail. Kind staff. Amazing chef. If I ever meet Ginger who the staff credited numerous times as the decorating genius I will hug her. Really hard. I would have hugged inn keeper / chef Mary but she was a busy woman Sunday morning. Relaxing. Surrounded by areas for great morning walks. Reading nests abound on the property. There are magic people hiding with the mission to insure your stay is magical. We had the opportunity to stay in the farmhouse. For a larger group the 4 bedrooms. Wonderful deck. Chefs Kitchen opening up to a wonderful family room with some of the most comfy furniture ever. Oh and the wrap around deck with the beautiful table out front for afternoon snacks and pre bed snacks. Ok. That's enough. And I haven't even mentioned the wine tasting.

Yelp
My significant other and I are at that in-between stage where we've outgrown our old haunts with the early-20s vibe but we are way too young to enjoy over-decorated "luxury" hotels. We still enjoy short escapes to San Francisco or Palm Springs, but sometimes we just want some quiet time. We're also in an in-between place financially -- we are way past our hosteling days but not quite willing to spend a month's salary on a weekend getaway. Abeja was the perfect place for us. We stayed in the Bunkhouse for two nights in June and can't wait to go back next year. We both agreed it was the best trip we've taken (and we've travelled around the world!) Since we had never been, I tortured myself over which guest house to pick -- I shouldn't have. They all looked lovely and had their own unique charm. The Bunkhouse was cute, lovingly decorated (but not overly so), and extremely cozy for two. We spent quite a bit of time on the private back patio watching the sun set past the vines. They were also kind enough to cater to his vegan diet and went above and beyond with vegan breakfasts that were easily as delicious and creative as their normal fare. We hope to see you next year!

Yelp
We just returned from one night at the inn and it was terrific! I should say that we got the Locust Suite for free, as the inn participated in celebrating veterans day by offering service members a free room. However, our review would be the same even if we'd paid full price for the suite. Anyway, everything was perfect - in fact one of the other guests, also there on the special, said "I really need to quit saying it's perfect because I sound like a broken record . . . but it's perfect!" Our suite, on one side of the tasting room, was very roomy. It had a nice sized living area, a cute little kitchen and then a nice bedroom and attached bath. It was very cozy and comfortable - plenty of options for controlling the heat and a/c, as well as lighting. Ample seating, a large tv (which we didn't use) and a dock for the ipod. We made tea and coffee in the little kitchen and it looked to be amply stocked with anything you might need. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were remarkable. We both slept very well. The hosting is great. When we checked in we were each given a nice glass of very good wine. The breakfast was excellent - baked egg, pumpkin waffles with apple cider syrup and bacon, with fresh squeezed orange juice. We had a wine tasting around 10:30 in the morning, and enjoyed the pours. The property is beautiful (our suite had a great view) and it's obvious that they take great care of everything. It seemed that no detail was too small to be overlooked. This ended up being a great getaway and everyone could not have been nicer to us. I hope we go back sometime when the weather is a little more inviting to spend some time outside. Fabulous place (and some pretty tasty wine)!

Yelp
Amazing property away from it all in the Walla Walla wine country. Everything here was perfect for us. The rooms were not only large but the finishings were just amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the wonderfully creative breakfasts. Although this property is very large there are only 7 rooms so reservations in advance are a must. A must is scheduling a tasting at the winery on site. Exceptional reds that for Walla Walla are reasonably prices in the low $40s.
