This is our second time here. We stayed in the romantic loft on our first trip. The view was spectacular. On a whim we called to see if they had any rooms on Saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend. The only room they had was the suite so we booked it. We didn’t look at any photos of the room. When we walked in we were blown away!!!! Spectacular!!

Charming and cozy place with breathtaking views of the ocean—and if you're lucky, even whales! The apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and warm, making it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was excellent, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. Plus, it's within walking distance to an exceptional restaurant, adding to the overall experience.

Google
We loved our stay here. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast offered in the lobby each morning was good. We have stayed in several ocean front hotels before from Hawaii to Key West, but the view from our room at the Inn at Arch Rock was unbeatable Just stunning.

Google
Loved this place and the location. Amazing views, comfortable room, and kind hosts who gave us great information about the inn and about Depoe Bay. The inn has its own beautiful tiny beach and cove with (steep) steps leading down to it--maybe challenging depending on your mobility level--but it has great tidepools, and a harbor seal was posing for us on the rocks nearby. They served a wonderful breakfast in front of a picture window view of the bay. The inn is a very short walk away from the town of Depoe Bay with some cute restaurants, whale watching companies, etc. We hope to go back and would definitely stay there again.

We had two perfect nights at the Inn at Arch Rock. Our room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast that was offered in the lobby every morning. But the stunning view from our room is what will bring us back again.

Google
This is a wonderful stop! We spent 2 nights at this hotel and wished we had more time to stay longer. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff made us feel very welcome and were very attentive to ensuring we enjoyed the stay. There is private access to make areas of the ocean and each room has a view. We can't say enough about the husband/wife team who managed this place. They made the stay special!

I just want to say THANK YOU to the staff here for the awesome birthday gift, it sure was a surprise. This place is a gem. The location is Quiet with a very beautiful view of the ocean. The room was very cozy and very clean. Staff is amazing, outgoing and friendly. Breakfast was delicious!!!! Their muffins are to die for in my opinion. Over all a 10/10. I found my little favorite place to stay in Depoe Bay:)

Google
Definitely a panoramic view!! Wonderful hosts. Gave a birthday celebration to my daughter- wine, paperweight and awesome card!!|Very pleasant stay- excellent breakfast. Room had coffee, wonderful amenities and well stocked room. Didn’t realize our room was on second floor- be sure to ask where your room is located.

Yelp
Ok, this rating has to be parted out to be fair. The view: 5 Stars Cleanliness: 5 Stars Staff attentiveness: 5 Stars Age of property: 3 Stars (needs updating but the updates are under way) Linens need updating - this place would benefit with all white soft linens for the bed - including updated pillows. Breakfast: surprisingly full breakfast made to order and delivered to the room. 2 stars though convenient, lacked freshness. Fruit bowl was scooped from a bowl from the fridge. Biscuit was microwaved and the eggs were lumpy and lukewarm warn. The paper plates were lined with aluminum foil which was weird, probably meant to keep the plate from getting soggy, but just use a real plate and wash it later for heaven sake. It would made a world of difference. Ocean view is priceless.l, so it really was worth all of the low marks I gave. Average score for me is 4 stars, pretty good. Did I mention the cost for one night was $175? That is a steal my friends. If you need a place to get away for the night, this is your best deal.

Yelp
Wow! This place gets a high rating due to the friendly new staff couple, the amazing location right on the bay, saw whales. Perfect room upstairs with the bay view. One star off because the fireplace didn't work and we purchased the room for the fireplace. They didn't give us a discount or anything... just a "sorry". Nice breakfast with boiled eggs and hot oatmeal. Definitely will come back!

Yelp
We stayed here for our 24th anniversary and this place did not disappoint! Nate and the staff were so accommodating. Will stay here again!

Sheena W.

Yelp
We first stayed here in October for my birthday and booked on a whim. When we checked in we decided to add a package to get a late check out and a float. Nate let us know he would have to put together some items and we asked if he could put it in our room while we went to dinner. When we came back they had made a beautiful set up and card! The room was nice and having the heater fireplace made it cozy for watching the ocean. They offer a hot breakfast in the lobby and the fresh fruit made for a great addition to champagne that came with our package! It was a lovely experience off booking on a whim. I decided then to book a trip to celebrate a recently lost loved one's birthday with family. We just came back from the trip I booked in October and it was just as amazing. We stayed in room 3 and it was spacious and had beautiful views! When we got to our room we found the sweetest gesture from managers Nate and Polly that made my mom cry. We once again enjoyed a lovely time and you really can't beat the view and easy of location. We will make this a yearly trip and will happily spend it here

Yelp
Pest problems, constant turnover of staff and poor management. Only half of the property is renovated, don't expect every room to be updated. You may also want to bring your own pillowcases. The unbeatable location is the redemption for this establishment.

Yelp
Amazing view!!! Best around. Super friendly and helpful owners. They even surprised us with anniversary champagne and a card! The room was very clean and spacious. The only negatives were the private beach was closed and the carpet was pretty worn out in the room. I wish we'd known ahead the beach was closed as we'd planned to have a nice anniversary drink on the beach at sunset. Didn't find out until getting there. The girl at the desk was kind of rude about it. However the owners were fantastic and super nice people!

Yelp
Very nice place to stay. Great view of the bay, and lots of whales to see. Close to restaurants and lots of shopping.

Yelp
This is the 2nd year my family stayed at the Inn at Arch Rock. We plan to make this a tradition. The location is fabulous, sitting above the Pacific. My sister and I were greeted by Nate who asked if we were celebrating anything. We were celebrating our moms 85th birthday. He asked if she would enjoy a split of champagne and we said yes. He brought over a full bottle of champagne in an ice bucket along with a very thoughtful birthday card which he wrote in it. The breakfast bar in the morning was much more than we had expected, with eggs, bacon, sausage, potato's, fresh pastries, toast, homemade biscuits, fresh fruit and a lot more. They have complimentary wine tasting in the afternoons. The bay is home to many whales and a short walk up the street leads you to a path which brings you to a beach with large rocks to climb around on and a location where whales often hang out. Our room had an ocean bay view and was very comfortable. Thank you Nate and Holly for your excellent service and adding to our family vacation. We will see you next year.

Yelp
If I could give a higher star rating I would. This place is amazing and the staff go over and beyond to make memories happen. Polly, Nate and their staff really outdo themselves. Thank you!!

Yelp
The view from room 10 is truly incredible. The panoramic windows were great. The breakfast delivered to your door is a thoughtful touch. The gentleman who called us the day of our trip to let us know check in instructions was very kind and hospitable. The only sad thing was the private beach area stairs were put away for the year and we weren't aware of this. I was looking forward to being able to have a close private area to walk down to. I'll for sure stay again when they are available though. Great weekend all around!

Cory J.

Yelp
Nice seaside inn. The grounds were clean and the units were too. Beds were comfortable and soft. Good pillows. The breakfast provided was better than I expected. Several hot items and an impressive selection of gourmet muffins! Way above my expectations. Friendly front desk. We were there for one night. Easily could have stayed for several. Nice place.

Yelp
We love the Inn at Arch Rock. The location is perfect--open your windows and hear the waves--leave and walk to the adorable downtown area--take a little hike from your room to see the beautiful coast. The Inn is not new and it could use a slight refresh, but it is clean, comfortable, and I think the best Inn in Depoe Bay. The managers were very nice. Try to get a room looking at the bay so you can see the harsh, yet beautiful, waves crash against the seawall. You will be in heaven. This is a place to go and relax. Dump your phone in the car and just turn off the world for a few days. It can be nippy, so take a coat or sweater.

Yelp
We found this a wonderful getaway for the two of us. Whale watching, dinner and lunch at Tidal Raves next door. Sunset watching just a short walk to the "rocks" with numerous new benches all around. Walking the shops at Depoe Bay and ice cream made the whole experience something to do again in the near future.

Yelp
Excellent stay most gracious owners! The best view of Depoe Bay within every room. We enjoy the serenity and quaint environment at every chance! Thank you

Steve M.

Yelp
A quaint inn, in a great location right off the main street (Hwy 101). Nate and his wife are new managers of the inn, and the have done a good job creating a welcoming place to stay. While our room could use a little TLC, it had a great view of the coast and Depoe Bay. The room binoculars made it easy to see the sea lions swimming in the bay, and the private beach is a short walk away - down the steps. The continental breakfast was a perfect blend of nutritious and delicious.

B.D. S.

Yelp
We rented a newly remodeled ground floor two-bedroom suite with well stocked kitchen and panoramic ocean views. It was well equipped throughout, with comfortable and beachily-elegant amenities, including great widescreen TV with Netflix and DISH with movie channels. The view is breathtaking, and direct access yo rear beach access made it convenient to view the super blood moon lunar eclipse at 4am. Photo from property attached.

Yelp
Stayed last night. Second most expensive and by far the dirtiest hotel during my 2 week road trip. Apparently they must have changed the name from Arch Rock Motel to the Inn at Arch Rock, tripled the price, but did nothing to update the 1960s motel decor. On line photos of the $80, 2.5 star motel across the street at least showed pictures on their wall. Carpets were stained, mold in the bathroom and the noisy electric room heaters spewed dirt. The only reason for one star is that the in lobby breakfast was pretty decent. Don't believe the the high ratings posted on the internet.

RACHELLE B.

Yelp
Beautiful inn to spend our anniversary! I didn't get his name, but the guy who checked us in was very friendly and offered a lot of awesome suggestions for food and spots to watch the sunset. Complimentary popcorn and great selection of DVDs to take back to the room if desired. The private little cove only open to guests was beautiful. Hubby and I bought a bottle of champagne from the Inn and took it down there to kick off the weekend. Ended up seeing gray whales spouting close to shore! The room we stayed in was redone not too long ago and was super cozy. Bed was comfortable! Each room is also supplied with binoculars and sherry. This is something I don't normally notice, but the towels were so soft and smelled so fresh! In-room coffee was locally supplied and probably the best coffee I've had at any hotel. Complimentary fruits, freshly made pastries, coffee, juices and bottled water supplied in the mornings in the main office. The blueberry scones were divine. We saw more gray whales as we had our breakfast. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer! We definitely will be back.

Yelp
Very lovely views at Arch Rock. The private beach is beautiful and the owner was very nice and helpful. He recommended places to go and things to do around Depoe Bay, especially a gorgeous view point very near by. I recommend staying here. We stayed a few nights in rm 4. It was perfect for us, although a few electrical outlets did not work, but it was nothing we couldn't work around. Everything else was very good, from the kitchenette to the bathroom to the spacious room. Very happy to have stayed here.

Yelp
First: our three night stay was during the Covid pandemic. Our experience has not been the same as the reviews I've read. When we booked it, we were informed there would not be any housekeeping during the stay. Check in was no contact. Our room (#4) was comfortable, clean, and had good ocean views. The bed has been very comfortable to sleep on. The room had four pillows in it. However, two of those were way too puffed up and in decorative cases. We were pleasantly surprised to find not only the microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator we expected, but also an oven and stove top. The room had plates, bowls, cups, silverware, and some basic cooking pans. We bought some easy frozen meals at the grocery store and planned to cook them in the oven. There were no baking sheets or sharp knives in the kitchen. We ended up going back out to buy tin foil and a throw away pizza pan. It seemed a little strange that the kitchen was stocked with a pizza cutter, but no pan. There was a sign in the kitchen letting us know we could ask for any kitchen items we needed and they probably had them. So I made a list, and attached it to the 'service, please' sign to hang from our doorknob. I put the trash out on the morning after our first night, and hoped they'd notice the requests. The lobby was locked our entire stay, and a couple of times we tried calling the number to communicate, and no one picked up. But we had seen Sue and Jeff around a few times, and had been able to talk then. Anyway, on my list I asked for more bath towels, washcloths, two bed pillows, shampoo and conditioner, sharp knives, a baking sheet, and some spoons. When we got back in the evening, there was a laundry basket left at our door with every item I had requested (and even a few I hadn't). Breakfast in the mornings was not the fresh pastries I had hoped for (after reading other people's reviews). They were prewrapped coffee cake type things, prewrapped fancy biscottis, one orange juice, one V8, Kind bars, and on the second day, an orange and an apple. Each morning we were given a package of coffee grounds, powdered creamer, and a filter. I had read stories of home baked pastries, and I'll admit this was kind of disappointing. There were not any welcoming drinks or anything, as some reviews mentioned. I appreciate the way the owners guard the property from parties and obnoxious behavior. Other than a couple of very short-lived times of two young boys shrieking and pretend shooting each other between their car and their rooms, it's been very quiet for us. We hear the ocean, and very little of the other guests. There are beautiful viewpoints in easy walking distance, and we've seen whale spouts and a few tail flukes every evening. Also, they provided two cozy throws so we can wrap up while enjoying the cool breezes. There are two small windows that open in this room. I wish there were more opening windows. The breeze is lovely, and of course, we like hearing the water. The room would really benefit from more hooks on both the bedroom and bathroom walls. I think checking the numbers of silverware, and a basic inventory of kitchen supplies before each guest arrives would be good. A couple of extra normal pillows stored in the room. More than one bath towel per guest. I have long hair, and always need two towels when I wash it. If it's a multi-day stay, perhaps just stocking enough coffee supplies and shampoo/conditioner for those days. With the lobby locked, and already limited hours to ask for needs, it would be nice not to have to ask. Although I have mentioned several things I found lacking, our stay here has been pleasant, and we would certainly love to come here again. The price is kind of high, considering that the room, while clean and comfortable, is fairly basic. They aren't luxury accommodations, but the location is fabulous. The few things I mentioned would have pushed it up to five stars for me.

Gena Z.

Yelp
Based on the price, I suppose our expectations were a lot higher than reality. Really run down and thrown together decor with a refrigerator that made a hideous noise and the broken wobbly sounding bathroom fan. I don't recommend this place. Also the fact that they would not refund the second night that we prepaid is bad business!!

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at The Inn At Arch Rock. I stayed in room 10, on the second floor. This room has 2 queen beds & the most stunning view of the coast that I have ever seen. Absolutely incredible. I sat in the cushy window bench seating of this room for hours, watching the waves crash onto the rocks and into their little private cove. Loved the gas fireplace too. Bonuses include: Complimentary cream brandy when you first arrive to your room. Thick, lush bathroom towels. Really warm and accommodating staff. Great restaurants nearby. Off street private parking. NO KIDS!! Thank goodness!! I'll be back! See you again soon!

Kelly S.

Yelp
We were so happy when we saw our beautiful room, and wow, what a view!! Nate and Polly were so great to us , and the wonderful breakfast was not lost on us since we had been traveling a few days up the coast. Delicious fruit, oatmeal, and pastries, and great coffee and tea. A stones throw ( well maybe just a bit more than that!) to a wonderful restaraunt (Tidal Raves- make reservation!) and a well stocked liquor/wine store down the street. What a great experience- we wI'll be back!!

Chloe B.

Yelp
Our stay was simply put...AMAZING! The couple, Polly and Nate, who now (thankfully) manage the Inn, are just so sweet and very accommodating, and their personalities and attitudes are stellar! They took over the Inn's management, which had been terribly neglected, and are doing a spectacular job of restoring it to a former beauty. Be patient, though, as the repairs so badly needed are sadly many, and you might see a few hic-cups from the above mentioned neglect. But they and their staff are diligent in their determination to fix these hic-cups, but also very determined to see to it that you have a great stay, which we can state, we had theeee BEST time here, and we have stayed in many an Inn and hotels/motels in many states and cute towns. It was stormy weather, (which is my favorite time to stay on the beaches), but worry not, for the room was very cute, clean, with nautical décor, warm and cozy in every sense of the word, and we opted a couple of times to just sit and admire the power of the storm and sea from our room. Time, and of course finances from the owner, will bring about the change this Inn needs, but even so, you will not be sorry you stayed here. And if the owner of this adorable place reads this...Well done in employing this couple, they are a testament of all that is what great hospitality looks like. They truly work hard to make this place something you can be proud to own. Polly and Nate...well done and Thank you for a wonderful visit to Depot Bay. We absolutely will be back to stay, and look forward to see what new things you will have done to this beautiful piece of history.

Yelp
If you like words like 'quaint, charming, and cozy,' this place is for you! If you don't like those adjectives, the location, view and fresh pastries in the morning will change your mind. Absolutely the best view and whale watching spot on the OR coast! Seriously, we went up and down the coast and were lucky enough to stay in this awesome place! Jeff went out of his way to offer suggestions and help make our stay even more enjoyable. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a curtain to the bedroom in unit 3, otherwise, perfect!

Yelp
My boyfriend booked us a surprise stay at this Inn. To give a little background I usually stay at the large corporate style hotels. This Inn was AMAZING! Jeff and Sue were the nicest hosts I've ever experienced. Jeff greeted us with a smile. The views were astounding. The room was clean, comfortable and inviting. Sue baked breakfast every morning and it was delicious. I would recommend this Inn to anyone. It was incredibly romantic. I came with a boyfriend and left with a fiancé.

Deborah M.

Yelp
What a disappointment. I can not believe other reviewers were staying at the same property. The room was dingy and musty. The bathroom was miscule and the room had not been updated in many years. The exterior photographs were misleading as the area around the property was very developed and the location of the Inn was VERY misleading. We are warned that the electric fireplace was our only source of heat and if that fire were to stop buring we were to call an emergency number. When we returned from dinner, the fire was out and the room was cold. We called the emergency number and one of their employees tried to restart the fire without success. He brought two very inefficient heaters to the room but we felt safer not running them. When we advised the staff the next day that we'd not be staying our second night, they expressed no concern about our change in plans, only asked our room number. A very unpleasant experience.

Markus Y.

Yelp
The location is very good the view is beautiful! The rooms are cute they need a little TLC, my biggest complaint was the mattress it was really lumpy and old after two night my back was a mess. It took me about 10 days of stretching and massage before it was back to normal. We won't go back.

Abby S.

Yelp
I loved this little Inn. There is such attention to detail - from the wine opener and port in the room to the delicious homemade pastries available for breakfast each morning. The location is as good as it gets. I had a whale come right up to the rocks I was sitting on just above the property and at low tide their little private cove beach is a perfect place to sit and watch the water. Easy to walk to town and visit all the local restaurants and bars. Customer service was outstanding - everyone was super friendly and helpful even when I ended up having to arrive later than planned. I looked at tons of other hotels and Airbnbs in the area while planning my trip but most were either much pricier or away from the water. You really can't beat this for the price & location. I look forward to staying here again some day!

Yelp
Celebrated hubby's birthday here for the first time. I cannot day enough about this hotel. We happened to be here at Kings Tide and many storms coming in. This was such an amazing place to stay. We checked in and the staff was so nice! Made us feel so welcome. They have a little breakfast area with a few tables overlooking the ocean. Our room was 19 which is upstairs overlooking the ocean below us. The ocean was crazy churned up and huge logs and debri were rolling in along with the tide. Incredible views of Depoe Bay. The room was so cozy and comfortable. A very comfortable KIng bed, sofa and table to relax on. The fireplace heater was great and kept us warm and cozy. They provide coffee pot with fresh roasted coffee from Pirate Coffee company. It was so nice to be lazy in the morning having coffee and pastry while watching the sea. Let me tell you about the amazing pastry. She makes them fresh everyday from scratch! Scones, stickey pecan buns, blueberry muffins and cranberry orange bread. Perfect place to go explore from or just sit and watch ocean. We will definitely return. Room was large with microwave and little fridge along with full size coffee pot. Super friendly staff that made you feel so welcomed.

Joe R.

Yelp
Rude. We had an emergency that kept us in the room 15 minutes past checkout and the lack of understanding ruined our mood for the day's start. So poor. I called hours before to let them know about the situation and almost made it back on time and my wife was still treated horribly.

Phu L.

Yelp
Was not worth what we paid for the room! The room we rented was very old, smelled HORRIBLE and had bugs. We specifically rented a room at the inn for our annual trip to watch whales and enjoy the beachfront. The view was beautiful, but unfortunately management was not very hospitable and gave us a hard time when we wanted to take some friends down the inn's beach access, just because our friends were not paying guests. The continental breakfast and "acclaimed best tasting coffee" was also nothing to rave about...would rather pay the extra money to eat out. We will not be returning here next year.

Yelp
First let's say there are no five star hotels or motels on the Oregon coast. But the Inn at Arch Rock is a quaint and cozy place to come with a spectacular view of Depoe Bay and in the right time of the year you do see whales from your Vantage Point. The rooms are rather plain and simple but clean. There's great food near the inn. I highly suggest you try food at Wing Wah which is a Chinese restaurant almost across the street which is some of the best and the locals love it too. And you can't forget to go to Tidal Raves . probably some of the best seafood on the coast and I've been going there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed yet. If you wish just make a reservation and they will take care of you. Get a table by the window. It will remind you of a quaint Country Inn. Try it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Betsy I.

Yelp
We recently stayed at the inn, and it was great. The innkeepers are wonderful, and it was fantastic staying right on the coast. We arrived later in the evening both times, and they called us to make sure we could get in the room with no problem. The fireplace was on, and it was very welcoming. The sound of the crashing surf outside was amazing. The baked goods served in the morning, along with lots of fruit, are delicious. Great location as you can walk to everything as well as walk down the road along the coastal path. We enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly stay there again next time.

Yelp
This is where I would go every summer to help my grandparents till my grandma passed away back in 1988 they use to only this hotel

Rita W.

Yelp
The view is amazing! The room was clean. Unfortunately my husband got shocked in the shower when he touched the metal behind the faucet handle. Luckily it wasn't one of my children. When we informed the front desk they just shrugged and said they didn't know how that could happen. We were given a key to shower in another room several doors down. Hopefully they get an electrician to check Update: after writing a letter to them I was refunded for the last night stay. Unsure if they have fixed their electrical problem but at least they were fair.

Kate R.

Yelp
We stay here about once a year -- it's our favorite lodging on the coast because of the hospitality. Seriously, the staff here go above and beyond when it comes to making our stay comfortable. The owner has lent me her personal pack n play when we forgot ours, and they've done a small load of laundry for us when we had an accident in the car on the way down. They have TONS of DVDs from which to choose, and the morning breakfast includes fresh baked pastries. Each room is different, but nearly all have outstanding views of the sea with binoculars in every unit. We love the convenience of the kitchenettes. Unit 10 is the "fanciest" in which we've stayed, while unit 3 is a bit older/cozier. Unit 4 is also lovely. Check the description on the website to find a unit that suits your needs.

Isabel D.

Yelp
My husband and I booked a room here last minute about a month ago for our first anniversary. Check-in was contactless and we found our room cozy and sparkling clean. The view was incredible! Will definitely stay here again next time we're in Depoe Bay.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
Horrible smell in the room, and then, no screens on the windows. Bugs entered when we tried to air put our room. Kitchenette had a big slope on floor leading to one corner. Bathroom sink wouldn't drain and the faucets were hooked up backwards. Hot on right, cold on left. Wifi didn't work and no HBO etc available as advertised. No one at desk after 7 pm and they never returned our call to their after hours number, or the next morning. Asked to have our bill reduced for all the issues and was flat out denied. Worse place in 40 yrs we have stayed.

Ashley S.

Yelp
What a great find! Our family (2 couples and one child) reserved the 2-bedroom suite with kitchen, living room, 2 baths with jacuzzi tub. It was wonderful. The suite is window-lined and has the most beautiful views of Depot Bay. Very clean! A nice continental-style breakfast was offered in the morning, along with local coffee. We will be returning!

Yelp
We stayed for two nights. The innkeeper when we checked in was very friendly and helpful. They helped us find a very nice place for dinner. Our room was very clean and they had even turned on the heat so it would be warm for us. They even welcomed us with a little sherry on the table. The room was setup nicely and the carpet looks newer and/or very clean. The room had all of the items that you may need wine opener, small cutting board, binoculars & a flash light for just in case. They even had a trash can and a recycle can (great touch). The breakfast and coffee was delicious. The view was amazing. Thank you so much for the GREAT WEEKEND!

Yelp
I'm sorry, but this place was disappointing. I expected much more from the beautiful pics shown on their website, but the only thing that was nice about this place was the view. The rooms were clean, but there were multiple disappointments, and it was quite costly too. I would not recommend this place to others.
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
I was looking for a nice place to just sit and watch the waves and this place fit the bill. I stayed in the older section and my room was so inviting. I walked in to a fabulous view of Depoe Bay and the waves crashing against the rocks. Plus there was a nice decanter of cream sherry for my enjoyment. Even my dogs loved it. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were very plesant. I definitely will be back.

Yelp
We were very dissapointed. We were passing through Depoe Bay on a roadtrip. As repeat guests of The Inn at Arch Rock (though we did not stay there on this trip) we called the hostess and asked permission to visit their beach (which has restricted access to only those who stay at the Inn). She happily said we could visit. While we were on the beach collecting small agates my daughters came upon a couple of Canadian Geese and their three goslings. One of my daughters, from a safe distance, was trying to take to take their picture when an older man from on top of the bluff screamed at here, "Hey you, leave them alone!". I asked him not to speak to my daughter that way and told him that she was only trying to take a picture and that if he wished to speak with her to do so through me. He hurled some expletives and sent down a young woman to explain that the geese get bothered easily. After we made it to the top of the bluff the grump was standing in the doorway of one of the rooms smoking a cigarette. The smell of smoke was strong throughout the passageway. I said nothing to him as we passed and he made some sarcastic remarks and added, "This is private property you know." He dropped his cigarette on the ground, snuffed it out with his foot and grabbed a bag of laundry and walked off. We assume he was some type of maintenance man, but in any event was some type of Inn employee. My family was so taken back by this treatment. We will never stay at the Inn again. We had found it a great place to base our visits to the Oregon Coast but vow to never return. It is obviously going downhill if the management allows this type of behavior, including the smoking.

Yelp
We stayed four days for our 16th anniversary. The owners were very accommodating. Upgraded our room, let us use their BBQ to cook our scollops on the grill which turned out perfect smoked flavor. The morning breakfast was the best pastries i've tasted. Inn at Arch Rock is the only motel we stay at. The best ocean view and the best owners!

Yelp
Our room had the most beautiful view of the bay. We saw seals and whales out our window. The window seat made the room so inviting, and we sat for hours each evening after dinner watching the moon shimmer on the water. There is an excellent restaurant, Tidal Raves, just around the corner, and a good expresso shop for strong morning brew easy walking distance as well. This is an older property, well maintained, and quiet. It isn't fancy, but being privately owned gives it charm and personalized care you wont find in a motel chain. It is a simple, relaxing place to get away and enjoy great ocean views without crowds and all that goes with them. For sure we will return!

Yelp
I have definitely found my new favorite Hotel in Depoe Bay!! If you want charm this is the place to go. The minute we walked in to the lobby we were very friendly greeted and even got to check out our room before we booked! The room is huge! Very clean and a million dollar view!! Definitely on my list of places I will be back to stay

Yelp
We are in love with this Inn. It has 14 different rooms - all but one overlook the ocean/Bay. The owners provide binoculars in each room. We have a small kitchen (not quite that small - there is a sign in the kitchen that says "We have a Crab Pot Cooker for your use at No Charge. Ask at the front desk." The kitchen has everything we need. Our room has a seperate bedroom/bath and a living room with a fireplace. The ammenties are great - the breakfast they served was delicious. Fresh pastries that they must get from some wonderful bakery. Pastries included coffee cake, scones and other pastries. Fruit, Tillamook Yougurt, cereal and a variety of juices. The Inn has a free DVD library. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are EXTREMELY clean. We were only planning on spending one night, but we liked it so much, we changed our travel plans and stayed two days. I'm curled up by the fireplace on a comfy sofa reading a book. What a holiday! PS - the people who work here are polite, courtous and respect your privacy.

Yelp
If you are looking for Industrial Modern, go to the big city. This Inn is not new. It is better than new. It has character as well as cleanliness, comfort, hospitality and spectacular views. We loved every minute of our stay. We watched the whales from our windows and the garden. We walked up Sunset Drive for a beautiful panoramic view of Depoe Bay. The town is within walking distance with restaurants and all the coastal flair. Thank you to all the staff that made our visit everything we needed and more. We will return. I'm sorry we had to leave.
