The best part of our stay is always the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and truly want all of the people who walk through their doors to be comfortable and have a very nice stay. We were there again during Easter weekend 2025 and had another great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms and the beautiful bathrooms are spacious and are very clean. As far as our mornings, even though it is called a continental breakfast, it was plentiful. Along with the cereal, fruit, and bagels, are waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt parfaits, delicious pastries, muffins, and more. The coffee was also very good (and I am very picky). I can't wait to go back to this lovely hotel. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful weekend.

What an amazing stay. The location is perfect in Fell’s Point. The hotel is exceptionally clean, safe and has great amenities such as fresh baked cookies and coffee/tea service 24 hours, and a lovely breakfast but the most notable is the outstanding staff. They are friendly and genuinely interested in their guests having a happy stay. Each and every person I encountered made me feel welcome. |Can’t wait to visit again

The Inn at Henderson Wharf is a jewel in Fells Point. Diamond at the front desk was the perfect hostess. She made us feel right at home and made us a delicious cocktail when we checked in. Everyone working there was so kind and always had a smile. The lady in charge of the delicious breakfast made sure we had everything we needed. The room was large and very clean. Also, the blooming flowers outside were so beautiful. Great Job!

After a bad experience at the original hotel we booked in Baltimore, we were rebooked here. From the minute we walked through the door, our whole outlook changed. We were greeted as gold members by smiling, welcoming staff members. The grounds and lobby areas were immaculate. Our room was excellent. It was clean was very clean. The bed was firm and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. We had one small issue that was resolved immediately. The entire staff, from the manager to the front desk personnel (all shifts) to housekeeping to the maintenance staff, was wonderful. It was right on the water. They had a daily complimentary continental breakfast and afternoon happy hour. And it was also close to restaurants and nightlife. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will definitely stay here again when in Baltimore!

I don’t usually review places but this was not only a beautiful hotel but the staff made the trip worth every second. From checking in with Diamond who was absolutely amazing, to have an amazing night with Alicia who I must say is by far the most amazing person ever.. so understanding, sweet, just the best, to waking up to Corey who is definitely professional and sweet as can be. My experience was amazing but if it wasn’t for this amazing staff I don’t think it would have been as great!

We stayed here a few nights in two different rooms. The first room (facing the bay) was huge and sexy but the bed was just so-so. The second room (interior) was smaller but quite cozy. Classical music playing when we entered the hotel. Chocolate chip cookies always on the counter. A speciality espresso machine that freshly grinds the beans to make lattes, etc. ||One morning we had complementary mimosas at breakfast. Last night we had complimentary wine at night. We’d definitely stay here again. This hotel has character and charm.

This is our favorite hotel in Baltimore. We were there again during Easter weekend - 2025. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and are very clean and the breakfast is an elegant "continental" with fruits, oats, waffles, pastries, muffins, and more! The best part? The staff. We've stayed there several times and with each stay, the staff is welcoming helpful and truly wants everyone to be most comfortable during their entire stay. We can't wait to return!

I loved my 2nd stay as much as I did my 1st last November. The room is spacious with a great view of the Bay. I love the Continental Breakfast and the evening snack. Also, the teas both in the rooms and in the lobby coffee bar. The staff is always friendly and professional, making sure all my concerns are addressed. The location is great for walking around, exercising, looking into some of the eclectic shops and easy walking distance to some great restaurants. There is street parking available as well as the parking lot attached to the Inn.

Yelp
1) The rooms are DIRTY, outdated, and with beds that will leave you hurting 2) The breakfast is laughable. It is grocery store bagels, frozen hard boiled eggs, and some yogurt (you get charged a hidden fee for this) 3) Much of the staff is rude and unprofessional 4) They use their small hotel status as a reason to not provide the usual personal hygiene items you would expect at any hotel (wash cloths and toilet paper) 5) They offer "harbor view rooms" that have chain link fences against the windows with big signs covering any chance to get a peek at the view. According to other reviews this has been happening for a year+. Do not expect great views or the ability to walk along the harbor. My advice is to stay somewhere else because this was like staying at a shitty motel for the cost of a luxury hotel. The Pendry around the corner has a better location and the price was similar to what I paid at this hotel.

Yelp
Really cool hotel with a marina in its backyard. Weird Interaction on check-in day with the front desk, which kinda had us asking ourselves what we got ourselves into, but it turned out to be an anomaly and everyone else was really awesome. The rooms were clean and everything was exactly as expected. The front door gets locked at night which is a nice safety control and took us a minute to figure out there was a button to call the front desk. Parking for the hotel could be a bit more visual - like park here for The Inn or something. Overall we will absolutely come back and this will be our go to hotel the next time we are in Baltimore.

Yelp
Love this place! The rooms are clean, big and well maintained and the location is stunning. It's on the pier front! Even if you didn't score a room overlooking the water, you can grab your morning coffee and sit on a bench right outside to soak in the morning vibes. The hotel is at the end of roundabout so it's quiet and peaceful. You can hear birds chirping as you take your morning Joe. :) One of the best things, though, is the staff. The woman who sets up the morning buffet is really nice and keeps the place in tiptop shape. The tables are always clean, the coffee is always full, and the fruit is fresh. the front staff are always very welcoming too. It's one of my favorite, most welcoming, places to stay in Baltimore.

Yelp
The price was steep for the poor amenities. The ice machine is a hike to one hall for most rooms. Our room only had 2 washcloths and a single paperclip for coffee. The phone did not work even after plugging in. We needed to call front desk which we did from cell phone but no answer (late Sunday afternoon). The breakfast is very lackluster...makes the Hampton Inn look gourmet. The front desk registration person sloppily dressed and could not provide information about the local ferry or eateries. The place needs some updates. Good news is our bed was comfortable and the shower was great. BTW ...worth comparing prices from other sites like Booking, Expedia vs. Price you get calling directly.

Yelp
Wonderful hidden gem at the quiet end of the harbor with the convenience of walking to some delicious restaurants and bars with live music. Ian and Reynolds both are the epitome of customer service at the front desk. They were able to provide lunch and dinner recommendations that were for this foodie, spot on. The accommodations were well appointed, the courtyard is beautiful as well. Only 4 stars as their Wi-Fi is a bit slow, but that is the only negative. Good meeting rooms and lunches served were delicious. Parking was next to tue hotel and gate controlled. Would recommend and definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Unfortunately, we were unimpressed by our stay at The Inn at Henderson's Wharf. The whole experience started off on the wrong foot. When we arrived at the front desk to check in, the man at the front desk didn't even look up at us. He just said "...and who are you?" We said we were checking in and he proceeded to check us in without ever making eye contact or saying welcome or anything hospitable. He gave us the keys for our room, which happened to be the worst located room in the building. The room literally opens up to the breakfast area on the first floor. It is also situated so that the windows open to the boardwalk, and people walk by constantly. The hotel room had some weird quirks: the door handles open upwards instead of downwards (annoying). The appliances like the sink and shower were old and hard to use. The bed was uncomfortably soft and you would just sink into it. My back was aching. The hotel room was spacious but outdated. Additionally, our room keys stopped working halfway through our stay, and we had to ask the grumpy front desk man to re-key them. No apology from him whatsoever for the inconvenience. Overall, this experience did not live up to the expectations. We paid a lot of money to stay here (and of course they had hidden "service fees" too). They need to find a front desk person with some hospitality manners or even just someone who can smile. I would not recommend staying here. The only redeeming quality was the great location.

Yelp
Avoid at all cost. This was probably one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had in my entire life. We spent close to $2,000 at this hotel with a one week stay, so to say the least, our expectations were high. We paid extra for a "harbor view" and when we walked into our room and opened the shutters, we were surprised to find that there was a chain link fence, a red "keep out/no trespassing" sign and a peekaboo harbor view at best. We immediately went to the front desk to either get a rate reduction or to switch to another room entirely, because we refused to pay extra for a view of a chain link fence. Then we get switched to a room that directly faces the roundabout so we can hear everyone walk by the hotel and everyone drive in with their headlights. (Adding a blackout curtain would be super helpful, since all of the rooms just have wooden shutters). When we were at breakfast, (which by the way any Holiday Inn far surpasses what is offered at this hotel) a woman came up to us and said "excuse me, put your dishes in here" as she pointed to a black dish bin. We looked super confused because we had just started eating. I said what? She then repeated herself curtly and I said okay, we figured as such...Usually when there is a dish bin out, I naturally assume that we have to buss our own table. (She came up to us every morning we were there to remind us to do this). The next day, we realized we were going to need more wash cloths and toilet paper during our stay. (Our room did not come with a spare roll like most hotels). So not thinking this would be a huge ask, I called the front desk and asked for 8 wash cloths and two rolls of toilet paper as we were staying for a week, I knew we would need about that much. The front desk agent was audibly annoyed and asked if I could wait until housekeeping was available and I said of course. Later in the afternoon I noticed I still had not received them so I went to the front desk, where an altercation then ensued. I kindly asked for them a second time and was met with attitude. The front desk lady said that the hotel has limited supplies and could not give me 8 washcloths for our week stay. She handed me 1 roll of toilet paper and 2 wash cloths. She told me that I needed to leave my dirty towels at my door before I could get any more new ones. She said that's usually "how hotels work". I told her that I have in fact stayed at copious amounts of hotels both small and large during my travels and never once was asking for more linens or toilet paper an issue, let alone met with such attitude when I was making such a simple request. For how much they charge, maybe they should switch laundry services or order more supplies if they have a hard time handing out a few more washcloths and toilet paper to guests. She was entirely rude and I eventually turned away and removed myself from the conversation because it was clear that I wasn't going to be met with any kind of courtesy. Then, later that day we came back to the hotel to miraculously find a plastic back with more linens by our door? Super strange when I was told they couldn't do that for me previously. The bed was uncomfortable and old, the internet was so awful that we had to just use our 5g the whole time we were there. There is not an equal amount of accessible outlets on either side of the bed in order to charge phones, watches etc. Also the parking is $30 per night to park in an uncovered, gravel lot which wasn't a huge deal but I was expecting covered parking at the very least for that amount. Here are some photos of our room that even left me guessing...am I staying at a Motel 6? In closing, I think this hotel has potential if they paid attention to the details, gave the rooms a nice facelift and trained their staff appropriately in hospitality and customer service. I also suggest them not charging extra for a harbor view room until the chain link fences are removed so people can actually see the view they are paying for. To say the least, we will NEVER stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Yelp
Charming historic boutique hotel right on the harbor in Fell's Point. I adore the location which is just a quick walk to the center of town, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Thames Street. All of the rooms are in the first floor as the upper floors are condos. Our room directly overlooked the harbor. My son sat at the desk doing remote school and was able to look at the sea and watch the joggers and dogs pass by. The room had a homey feel, with exposed brick and comfortable furniture. There was a cozy sitting g area with chairs. The bed was comfortable but the blanket was very thin. This was remedied by a big quilt when I asked for an extra blanket. The bathroom could use some updating. Our toilet was leaking and we were leaving by the time it was fixed. The lobby is nicely decorated. There is also a lovely garden. The hotel is lacking some of the traditional amenities such as a convenience store and on-site gym. I believe they provide a bus to a local gym but not sure if they are doing that during Covid. Due to Covid, the hotel was not doing things it normally did, like breakfast and happy hour. I could do without happy hour but it still would be nice to have a bag breakfast or even some packaged granola bars available, as some other hotels do. Coffee is available and it's easy enough to get breakfast delivered or run to Thames Street and get it. Despite the little inconveniences, I still love this hotel. It just has an elegant, old time, but welcoming feel. The views can't be beat. Plus it has parking (for an extra charge) which is very convenient. I'm sure we will be back!

Yelp
First class. Directly on the dock in downtown Fells Pointe, beautiful and first class all the way.

Yelp
Our stay at the Inn at Henderson's Wharf was fantastic from top to bottom. From the amazing view from our room, the spacious room, and large and comfortable bed, to the beautiful surrounding area and friendly service, I sincerely wish we could have spent more than one night here. Having multiple large windows with a waterfront view creates an experience unlike any other. I love the touches of the history of the building combined with the modern upgrades and comforts. The lobby is beautifully decorated and the front desk was friendly and helpful. I have no complaints, other than one night was too short!

Yelp
Positives: beautiful building in a very nice location right on the water and a block from all the Fell's Point bars and restaurants. Fenced in parking lot adjacent to the hotel for $30 a night with in and out privileges. Negatives: granted we booked our room at the last minute for a spontaneous weekend getaway from Philly, but it cost us $1150 for 2 nights! So for $575/night I'm expecting a gorgeous, spacious room or a suite. The room was eh, nothing special and pretty sparsely and boringly decorated. We used the bathroom upon arrival and the toilet broke. We went out for dinner and the guy at the front desk said that it would "hopefully" be fixed when we got back (fortunately it was). Pretty, convenient, and well maintained hotel that is wildly overpriced for what you get. Our next visit to Baltimore we'll definitely be looking elsewhere.

Yelp
We loved it here. Great site with harbor and city views. Room was really cool with exposed brick wall and comfortable king sized bed. Fells Point has a great vibe, tons of bars and cafes and restaurants within a block or so walk. We walked to aquarium, about 30 minutes easy walk. Continental breakfast and coffee in am great. Grand Marnier and chocolate nightcap on Sat night was a great touch. Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
Good location, nice air conditioning (mid-August) and decent bed comfort. However, they gave us an obstructed harbor view with a boat canopy and fence blocking two-thirds of our window view despite the premium cost room upgrade expense (Room 125 and similar for 123). Three big ants or bugs in the shower tub. They charged us $20 extra beyond already paying the hotel service fee as part of the prepaid total fee and taxes direct through Choice Hotels website and loyalty member. We were also charged incindentals fee twice at check-in by accident by front desk and hard to get it taken off despite not damaging or taking anything. Loud guest room doors slamming and not soft-close or slow hinge close woke us up three times. Breakfast was not as impressive as the pictures on the website. Big stain size of a basketball on the carpet.

Glenn M.

Yelp
It was a two star rating and that was generous. It became a one star after checking out and unfortunately forgetting an item. No one at the hotel, all the way up to the General Manager, had any interest in trying to fix the issue for me. Could a hotel of this level not have an account with some shipping carrier to send my item back to me? I was willing to pay as well but they never responded other than to say "you have to send us a return label''. I've stayed at many hotels in my 30+ years in the hospitality business and maybe twice before forgot something. Each time the hotel sent out the item to my home without me needing to send a return label. One of those times they sent it no payment needed. Like I said, I was willing to pay but after this experience I decided i would drive back to the hotel (100 miles) just to get the item myself. Service was not what it once was years ago. Sign of the times.

Charlene G.

Yelp
We reserved an accessible room for my sister. When we arrived the room did not meet current ADA standards. The shower was over a traditional bathtub, not a walk-in. The bed was much too high. The keys to our rooms only worked occasionally - we had to get them re-keyed over and over again. They do not have a bellman or anyone to help with luggage or to open the door for you when you are carrying your belongings in or pushing a wheelchair. The rooms are dark and in need of remodeling. On the positive side, the building is beautiful and the location is great.

Meredith A.

Yelp
The hotel and it amenities were great. I unfortunately had the experience of having a "harbor view" room. This room had a park bench directly outside my window and also had outdoor seating just a couple feet away. From the time we arrived at 4pm until 4am, there were people sitting there visiting with one another and later in the evening there were very loud and drunk people yelling right out my window. I went to the front desk 2 times to ask them for help getting people away from my window. I understand that they can't control general passers by, but its a horrible idea to have outdoor furniture directly outside the windows, it just invites noise and invaded my privacy. For $400, I expected something different. I asked to be moved to a garden room for the next night but was not refunded the difference in cost. It also was missing the coffee maker.. I would stay there again, but only in a garden room.

Yelp
A short ride down the cobblestones of Fell Street will lead you to this wonderful hotel! From the moment you walk into the lobby you know you're in for a special experience! Our room was very spacious as was the bathroom! Loved the exposed brick! Nice view of the harbor! Yachts that I could never afford and cargo ships off in the distance! Quiet and relaxing yet just a short walk to the restaurants and bars of Fells Point! On a sunny morning you almost feel compelled to take a stroll around the neighborhood! Staff was friendly and professional Nice breakfast! Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries! Eat inside,in the courtyard or maybe take your coffee out to the patio furniture overlooking the marina! One tip! Rooms 107 and 108 are near the ice machine and you will hear it if someone wants ice at midnight!

Yelp
I was very pleased to find this little hidden gem in Baltimore and the price was just right. It was literally exactly what I was looking for when I set out for a relaxing weekend in the city but with some serenity. The room was huge and pretty clean. The hotel itself was very charming and quaint. The staff was very friendly. I really have no complaints about that. I enjoyed the wine down happy hour and the night cap. Breakfast was okay - all cold stuff but well worth it being included in the $9 fee I suppose. I really liked that they had a fresh Starbucks brewing machine in the lobby - nice touch! Also, the text message communication was a unique touch and very personal. I liked that a lot. I was very much pleased however I am giving this 4 stars because there were a few little issues that I think need to be addressed in order for future improvements because I would certainly give it another try now that I know better.... 1) I booked and paid extra for a "marina view room." Ok, so my room did have a tiny view of the marina but most of my view was of the parking lot and high rise apartment complex. I was not happy about this at all. I did look into changing rooms but then was told they only have "harbor view" left and those were even more than what I paid. Room 102 should NOT be considered a marina view. If you have to tilt your head and look down sideways to find the water, that's not worth the extra money in my opinion. However, I was there to RELAX due to a very stressful few weeks so I chose not to fight it and just had to deal with the room I had... I mean, it wasn't the end of the world but I didn't actually get what I paid for. 2) I was told three different prices for parking in advance of my stay. The website mentioned complimentary parking but when I called to confirm I got a rate of $9. Then, due to the fact that I never received an email confirmation I called again to confirm my stay and once again confirm parking - and this time I was told $18. Upon check-in it was explained that the "complimentary parking" was first come first serve on the street and the marina lot would be $18. Still much cheaper than any other hotel in Baltimore, I was a bit annoyed with the varying degrees of parking fee information. 3) Sound travels - the walls are thin and I could hear every sound coming from the hallway. I have seen a few other comments of this nature. There isn't much to be done about it but maybe institute quiet signs in the hallway or something. I could hear people's full conversations as they walked by and my room was near the lobby so that did not help.

Yelp
The Inn at Henderson's Wharf is touted as Baltimore's best hostelry. This title is ridiculous and I don't know what folks are talking about. Located in Fell's Point, directly on the water, Henderson's admittedly has a fantastic location. All the rooms are on the first floor, and while privacy can be an issue, the views are fab. Alas, we had a courtyard room, but took advantage of the lovely boardwalk running along the hotel. This is where the good ends. While the rooms are large, they are dated, and not everything works well. Our bathroom sink backed up, the bed was lumpy, and the TV was missing a bunch of channels. Storage in the bathroom was non-existent as the cabinetry didn't open, a ludicrous design flaw. Walls are thin, and noise carries. We heard every voice in the hallway and every door close. The room was not cleaned well, and debris discovered on the bathroom floor the first day remained through the third day. The gym in the hotel has dated and worn equipment and is not the cleanest. Service is supposed to be a hallmark of this hotel and you are charged nine dollars and change daily for the honor. I didn't get the big deal. Butler service consisted of a couple of cups of coffee in the morning and shoe shines. However, if you don't explicitly ask for it, you get nothing. Free ($9 and change daily) breakfast is okay, consisting of beverages, pastries, fruit and yogurt, but no hot items. There is a coffee maker in the room. Nightcap service consists of a few bottles of Grand Mariner left out on a table. The folks working the check-in desk were not overly warm or helpful. Their affect was competent. Fells Point has tons of good bars and mediocre restaurants. You are a 15 to 20 minute walk from the Inner Harbor neighborhood where the better restaurants are located. If you have meetings at the convention center, it's a 8 to 10 dollar Uber or taxi ride away. I walked it in about 30 minutes. Downtown Baltimore is not salubrious, and you are better off staying in one of the close by neighborhoods of Little Italy, Inner Harbor, Fells Point, or Federal Hill. Baltimore comes alive in these neighborhoods and takes on a charm reminiscent of Georgetown, Annapolis, and Old Town Philadelphia. The Inn at Henderson's Wharf has a wonderful setting, but it is not Baltimore's best hotel and it is not worth the outlay of cash required.

Yelp
My stay at this hotel has been very bad so far. First, they are not offering the breakfast that was featured in the booking (due to covid). They could have given me and my boo a voucher or something to compensate. Or at least notify folks before booking. It's a big selling point when factoring in your stay (convenience). The room has a child size tv and they have satellite cable. Currently the cable signal is out. It's really frustrating to pay $314.00 and get worse accommodations than a hotel for half the price. When I called the front desk the man was giving me instructions on how to fix the cable which was more annoying because it did not fix anything. So here we are...laying in bed with no tv, no room service and it's horrible. The lobby looks really nice which makes you think the rooms are too. However, it looks like my grandma's (RIP) bedroom from the early 1980s. Can't wait to leave tomorrow and go back home! I give it 1 star because there's no option for negative stars. They should rename the hotel "The Sin at Henderson's Warf" because charging someone $314 dollars for this room on the first floor is a SIN!

Yelp
My husband and I traveled to Baltimore for the first time to visit an oncologist at Johns Hopkins. After searching hotels and reading reviews I chose this hotel. We were not disappointed. Our windows opened to spectacular views of the harbor where we sipped wine and watched the sun set. The historic charm of days gone by is seamlessly paired with every convenience and luxury I expect in a top rated hotel. The staff are extremely accommodating and kind as they offered directions and recommendations for dinner and activities. If you find yourself in Baltimore, this charming hotel in Fells Point is definitely one to consider.

Yelp
Still good and homey -- but definitely showing its age. The rooms are pretty dark - need better lighting. Some bathroom renovation would go a long way ! Despite that, and despite sharper competition in the area, the prices seem to creep up and up...

Yelp
We were so excited to book one night here and stay in the harbor with a king bed. We got to the Inn from the airport and our room wasn't ready m. No big deal we got a great food recommendation and checked our bags. The young woman's face was a face of concern. I asked are you sure we actually HAVE a reservation that 'isn't ready' and she confirmed absolutely. We went to a great place for lunch and when we returned we were told our room was right by the counter. We were confused because we booked a king with harbor views and this room had street views. When we told them the issue they acted confused. Then said on well we have a queen bed with a view and the price is the same. We ultimately didn't care either way it is just principal. When you book and pay for a room and fly all the way to a place for 1 night you want what you sign up and pay for. This place does not deliver and to make matters worse gives you a runner up that smells like fabuloso and has a bunch of people walking by your window every 5 minutes. Not the harbor retreat you are hoping for. Skip this shitty establishment and stay at a basic hotel and eat at the Oyster House, it is incredible!! This has never happened to us but I suppose there is a first for everything.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel with a great location. Parking on site. (Small fee) Our room was beautiful. Everything was very clean. Staff was very friendly. We can't wait to visit Fells Point again and we will surely stay here again.

Incredible room. Great staff. Drinks and s'mores were a nice end of the night touch. This place may have messed me up forever with what my wife expects of a hotel.

Nice place. Great location. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. This place has very good customer service. All the employees were happy and friendly. The room was very quiet at night (courtyard room). Parking on the street out front is unlimited and free

Yelp
Nothing about this place makes you feel safe or a valued guest. Came on a Friday night for the weekend. No shuttle service as advertised. Only one staff member in entire hotel. The room next to us had people who were arguing at 1am. We called front desk to express our concern, the person clearly was uninterested and not willing to investigate. Cutting corners by eliminating staff and services does not put the customer first. Last time we will stay here and would never recommend. Meyer Jabara should pay a little more attention to their boutique hotels and overall experience.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! This small hotel is lovely and right on the water. We booked a room with a harbor view. Next time (and there definitely will be a next time!) I think we'll book a "garden view" room because while we enjoyed the view of the boats while we were in the room, we also had people walking along the boardwalk outside our window. Since the weather was chilly, there wasn't a lot of foot traffic, but in warmer weather it might be busier out there. The hotel offers wine and canapés in the late afternoon and liqueurs at bedtime. I've never been to a hotel with anything like that and it was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was delicious: strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, three kinds of yogurt, cottage cheese, many different cereals, croissants, bagels and cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, and many other things--all on china plates with real utensils served in a room with a lovely view of the enclosed garden. My only complaint was the obnoxious old geezer (probably younger than I am!) who kept up a speaker phone conversation at the top of his lungs during breakfast. Since he was a guest, I guess the staff didn't want to shut him down, but I wish someone had stepped in. That's what your hotel room is for, buddy. I gave him the stink eye and went to the front desk, so I think that finally made him end his call. The other guests gave me an appreciative smile. Otherwise, our visit was perfect. My husband had outpatient surgery at Johns Hopkins, so it was a difficult time for us, but everyone at the hotel made us comfortable and looked after us very well. Thank you, Inn at Henderson's Wharf! We'll be back in 3-4 months for my husband's check up at Johns Hopkins (another place that took very good care of us).

Yelp
I have known of the Inn at Henderson's Wharf for years. It has a reputation as the best (and priciest) hotel in Baltimore. While recent additions in Harbor East may have knocked it off that perch, it certainly is not by far. It is tucked into the end of a pier in Fells Point, just far enough from the action to stay peaceful but close enough for an easy walk. It is in a gorgeous brick building that blends into the condo units surrounding it. (Fans of a long-running satirical show will be amused to see that you can live at the Penthouses in the Lofts at the Residences in the Inn at Henderson's Wharf in Fell's Point.) When we wanted to splurge on a hotel room for Halloween in Fells Point, I knew just where to go. Everything about the hotel is beautiful, from the stately lobby to the open garden atrium to the rooms themselves. There are not many amenities on site, but they seem to have partnerships with many places nearby if you desire a workout or other standard options. There is a wine reception in the lobby on most days, which seems to run for exactly one hour. The times are posted in the material in the room (but if you ask me, if you're checking in within an hour of the start time the desk clerk could mention it.) They apparently also offer Grand Marnier at the complimentary coffee stations as a nightcap in the evening, but I don't think I would have availed myself of any even if I noticed it after returning from a fun evening in Fells Point. We did receive a text from the hotel shortly after we left for dinner asking us to contact them if we needed anything, which was nice if we needed a cab I guess. Aside from the coffee stations, they do have a lovely and varied continental breakfast laid out in the morning. It made for a pleasant morning after a pleasant night.

Yelp
Great spot in a fun area. The hotel being right on the dock and close proximity to Fells Point made it easy to explore the area.

Yelp
My partner and I were in Baltimore for an overnight (Sunday into Monday) and this boutique hotel had come highly recommended to us. When we arrived, we were immediately pleased with the hotel and its location - in addition to being on the water, the hotel is right around the corner from a ton of trendy restaurants and local shops. It's also only about a mile from the busy and beautiful Inner Harbor, which we were able to walk to in no time. The hotel itself is lovely. It has an old-fashioned charm with all the amenities you could possibly want or need. Our room was much larger than expected, with windows that looked out onto to the water and, most importantly, it was spotless. From start to finish, the hotel employees were excellent - polite, professional, etc. There were, however, a few things that struck us. First - we were told parking was valet and there would be a wine reception at check-in (5 p.m.). Turns out parking isn't valet; instead, you park in a (very) nearby lot. And the wine reception? It's only Monday through Saturday. Neither of these were a problem - parking was easy and super-secure. Also, it's included in the room rate, which is a great value in that part of the city. And while we would've loved complimentary wine, there were plenty of fabulous restaurants to more than makeup for the miscommunication. Next? Check-in isn't until 4 p.m., but we were told the hotel would hold on to our bags and call when the room was ready. They accepted our luggage and tagged everything accordingly, but we never did receive the call regarding our room. To err on the side of caution, we headed back to the hotel around 4:30 p.m. and the woman who checked us in apologized for not calling - she said she hadn't realized we were waiting for our room. As it turned out, the woman waiting to check in behind us had the same problem. Finally, upon check-out we were charged an additional $9.95 "Guest Service Fee" for a list of services we didn't utilize. Harbor Magic Hotels, which owns The Inn at Henderson's Wharf, among other properties, explained on a brochure that it's "excited to now offer all of our most popular services in one convenient Guest Service Fee of $9.95" ... PER NIGHT. Among the services? A "complimentary" bottle of water; free Wi-Fi (Is charging for that still a thing?); unlimited calling; a daily newspaper, etc. In an effort to fight back, my partner and I ate $10.95 worth of berries at the "complimentary" breakfast buffet, read our "complimentary" newspaper - twice, and pocketed some Earl Grey tea bags. Honestly? The hotel was terrific and we would absolutely stay again, but we were disappointed to find the kitschy brochure and hidden fee - just increase the cost of the rooms by $10 night. It's still a great value and much less offensive to travelers when they wake up in the morning and find the bill underneath the door.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came down to Baltimore for a spontaneous weekend trip and a friend had recommended to stay in the Fells Point area. So glad we found this place, as it helped to make our weekend wonderful. Some of the highlights included: 1. front desk/staff: kind, helpful, and even let us check in a few hours earl 2. parking: easy, across the street, and only $10 for the day 3. location: on the water; our room was garden view which was wonderful because it was private, quiet, and still had a beautiful view 4. room: decor was perfect for a cozy bed and breakfast feel; bed was so comfortable it was hard to convince ourselves to get out of bed the next morning; the only downside was the hot water situation- you have to wait awhile after one person takes a shower to have hot water again 5. extras: did not check out the gym, but the breakfast was wonderful, the wine down was a wonderful addition (as was the night cap), and the free starbucks coffee was a nice touch as well Overall, fabulous stay and cannot wait to come back

Yelp
Oh my gosh-- this place is SO nice!! The people who work there are extremely helpful and very sweet. The toiletries are orange-scented and will tempt you to bathe when you don't need to (I'm serious about this-- I totally jumped in the shower when I didn't have time or need just because I wanted to use the soap and shampoo again). The bed is heavenly, although the pillows are a little fluffier than my liking. I like my pillows pretty close to flat. You'll get an amazing breakfast with tons of choices including fresh berries. The rooms have a view of either the water or the gorgeous courtyard. I hear they have a 24-hour workout room, although I didn't use it. There are cool little bars nearby and a live-music venue, but I didn't visit them either. It was a work trip and unfortunately, I saw the office and the hotel. Good thing I loved the hotel. :-)

Yelp
I love this place. I want to move in. Great karma. Rooms overlook harbor. Rooms with 2 beds have queen sized bread. Exposed brick with huge windows. Complimentary wine and cheese in evening. Always have coffee and water out. Wonderful location in Fell's Point. Price is reasonable.

Yelp
This place is a sure-bet if you are looking for a very nice place, close to the Fells Point action. The location is fantastic, and even though the rooms are all on the street level, noise was never an issue. Complimentary bottle of wine, the best TV channel selection I've ever seen (the entire DISH package), wonderful complimentary breakfast. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating is that our room and the lobby bathroom were a tad worn. The tub in our room has some cracks around the drain. The lobby bathroom was a little ragged. Also the online reservation system is a bit odd and could use an upgrade. Other than that, very very nice place. It would be hard to stay anywhere else when visiting Baltimore.

Yelp
Definitely my favorite hotel in Baltimore. Located at the edge of Fell's Point, this is a really nice and charming hotel. Large rooms with great views of the harbor. Everything is clean and modern. Great continental breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries and some hot items from time to time. They also do a manager's wine happy hour at night from time to time. Free wine, why not? Price wise it is a bit on the higher end, but I don't mind paying for it given the location and lack of hotels in this area. They also have a parking lot for those of you driving in.

Yelp
We have stayed here many times and have already booked an upcoming stay. From start to end this place is first class. It's comfortable, classy and clean. The staff is welcoming and always helpful. Thanks everyone and see you soon!

Yelp
This is an intimate hotel in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Baltimore. The rooms are spacious and beautiful with wood plantation shutters and exposed brick. Some rooms face the water. The view is pretty. Be aware if you have a water view, you may hear people (early morning joggers, late night dog walkers, etc). Some rooms face an interior court yard which is very tranquil. I found the bed very comfortable although my companion would have liked it more firm. And I think that is the only negative thing either of us would say about our stay. The staff is amazing. They are nice and attentive. There is a night cap station for drinks and roasting marshmallows for smores.

Yelp
stayed here during our last-minute trip to baltimore on a tuesday night. pros: in fell's point and right on the water -- a really cool part of town, walking distance to great bars & restaurants. the rate was reasonable, considering that the place was right on the water. the complimentary wine at check-in is a nice touch. the breakfast is good -- lots & lots of fresh fruit, cheese, breads, lucky charms. cons: the parking lot is somewhat questionable at best. the decor is a little meh -- suited for an older crowd, i guess. the "garden view" room...well, someone got a view at breakfast. oops.

Yelp
The extra star was for the staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Real flowers are better and we enjoyed them. Location so so close to great food and fun. The neighborhood is an eclectic mix of everything that Inter Harbor isn't. Thanks

Yelp
This hotel was highly recommended to us, and the room was comfortably appointed and everything that you would hope for for $300/night. The problem is they had a wedding right outside of our room window that went on blocking our view of the water for the better part of an hour. We still had hope though, until it became apparent that the walls are so thin we could hear everything going on in the hallway, including the after parties from the weddings which should never have been in allowed to hang out int he hallway! Multiple calls to the desk got them to move it down to the lobby, but unfortunately we were only three doors down from it, and got very little sleep that night. We liked it alot other than that, and maybe there are quieter rooms you can get, though in reading other reviews...maybe not.

Yelp
Based on the Yelp reviews, we booked here this past weekend when we came to Baltimore for a concert at Pier Six. This is the CUTEST little hote! Clean, the rooms are cute, and the location is fantastic. Wine Hour was great - complimentary wine and cheese in the afternoons, and the free breakfast was really great (much better than most hotels). It is a great value for the price. We had a room on street level and there was no issue at all with noise. I would stay here again anytime!

Yelp
I managed to get a good rate here for a business trip and I could not have been more pleased. The staff were professional and friendly at every interaction. I snapped a photo of the room when I arrived and it really is exactly as the brochures and web site make it out to be. Located right in the old neighborhood of Fells Point, stumbling distance to incredible taverns along historic cobblestone roads and beautiful townhouses, this inn lies at the marina along the water. The insides are built to impress. Rich wood trim and furniture, plush carpets, and tasteful decor greet you. The usual amenities are all there with nothing wasted on frivolous things, attention is spent on what matters: comfort, lighting, bedding, rich pillows, and the little extras like fresh eggs, berries, and melons at the breakfast bar. Only two things could have made this hotel better: an on-site pool and an on-site hot tub. I would definitely recommend this place to others, even at their full price.

Yelp
What a beautiful hotel! I stayed here for a night over the summer with a bachelorette party in a stunning room right on the pier in Fells. Although there were 7 or 8 of us, we all fit just fine in the room with two queen beds. I was lucky enough to snag a spot on the heavenly pillow-top for the night! I'm sure the front desk staff had a laugh as we ran back and forth asking for tape to hang decorations and ice for the drinks. But they were very helpful and even though we had to wait before checking into our room, they were apologetic yet friendly. There was a fantastic garden/courtyard area right off of the lobby where we took pictures and probably got laughed at (again) in our matching shirts. Possibly the highlight was in the morning when the lady cleaning up the complimentary breakfast stopped to make sure we could all grab as much as we wanted before she had to toss it! Such great service, beautiful location, and fantastic rooms. I don't know about the price (not sure I want to) but I think it would be worth it!

Yelp
This is the second time that my wife and I have stayed in the Inn at Hendersons Whart and both times we loved it. The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly and top notch and the rooms are extremely nice. We find the Inn very romantic and it is located right near all of the Fell Point activities and only a short water taxi ride to the Inner Harbor. They provide you with a comlpimentary bottle of wine and have a very nice continental breakfast. We always book a room overlooking the marina although the garden is very beautiful and a great place to enjoy breakfast. We find it a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay while we are in the Baltimore area.

Yelp
A very delightful surprise. Staff/Check-In The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The gentleman who staffed the happy hour and nightcap event was phenomenal. I would hire him to run my business. The company that runs this hotel really has their stuff together. After check-in I even received a welcome text on my cell phone and I was free to text back if I needed anything. Location Excellent location on the wharf. Walking distance to Fell's Point, Inner Harbor, and Little Italy, and Canton. Rooms All rooms in the hotel are located on the ground floor, so views are limited. The hotel is fairly small, only ~32 rooms I believe. The hallways are adorned with original handmade brick and really didn't feel like a normal hotel. Things looked new, well-kept, good-sized rooms with a real flower in the bathroom vase. Our room window opened up into the courtyard, where there were people seated (it was a little awkward so we kept the shutters closed). The courtyard was lushly landscaped. The rooms feature an iHome system (iphone 5 or newer) which was great. $10 Amenity Fee There is a $10 fee for amenities/events which include: WiFi, continental breakfast (no hot foods), happy hour cheese and wine event, evening nightcap, a Starbucks coffee machine, and parking. The morning paper is delivered in a nice cloth bag. Overall, I highly recommend the Inn at Henderson's Wharf, and would look into staying at their 2 other sister properties in the area.

Yelp
We recently went to Fells Point to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We chose to stay at the Inn at Henderson's Wharf. Last year we stayed at their sister hotel Admiral Fell Inn. We had a first floor room bayside room and the view was fabulous. The room was spacious and the amenities were a nice treat. Everything was top notch. Our package came with parking which was a treat since we could park on private property and not have to worry about our car. We walked to all of our destinations. The next morning the breakfast that was offered truly hit the spot considering the fun we had the night before. We are already looking forward to next year.

Yelp
I recently spent my first weekend at this place and I plan on coming back in the future. I have been coming to fells point for 3 years and have stayed at Admiral Fell inn ( which wasn't bad either) , but I found this place on yelp and I'm glad I found it. The customer service at this place was outstanding , anything at all you need is handled by the guest service butlers, free wine and cheese, and Gran Marnier & chocolate at night. The staff were all very friendly and all had great recommendations on where to find local events . I will be booking my next stay in Fells Point at the Inn at Henderson's Wharf !!
