"Perched on a cliff above the main beach, the recently reopened 70-room hotel reads like a beacon, its crisp postmodern facade visible from nearly any stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway. Formerly the classic coastal Inn at Laguna Beach (a 1989 property), it’s been renamed and thoroughly reimagined by Electric Bowery with soft neutrals, warm wood, curved archways, natural textures, and open sight-lines. As one of the few hotels right on the beach, the Pacific is an obvious draw—visible from every common space, including the rooftop terrace and cliff-side pool, as well as nearly all suites and guest rooms—and the beach’s main walking path is just steps from the clay-tiled lobby bar.
