The Inn at Palo Alto

We enjoyed our stay in this very nice hotel a lot! We - 2 parents plus 3 grown up kids - had a family suite incl. kitchen. The service was perfect as the team from the first contact took care for all our needs incl. advice and booking of all our tours / adventures. We enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was the best on our tour through Panama!

Nice, quiet and small boutique hotel with a lush garden. Plenty of birds and colibris around! The location is somewhat out of the town of Boquete, but we had a rental car, so no issues. The breakfast buffet is small (expected for a smaller property), but exceptional. They made fresh ommelets or french toast and had plenty of fresh fruit, breads and eggs/bacon. Also sparkling wine and bloody marys! The room has a wooden style (i wouldnt call it outdated, everything looked fairly new) and good beds. The pool is very nicely located with great views as wel as a nice jacuzzi. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest!

Loved our stay here. Beautiful location overlooking the river and mountains, great variety at the breakfast buffet, and friendly staff. There were several restaurants within a few minutes’ drive and it was convenient for us to get into town. Very fast wifi and our son loved to look at all the flowers at the property. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our time at The Inn at Palo Alto. Honestly, it ended up being one of the best places we’ve ever stayed — so much so that we actually extended our trip because we didn’t want to leave. We travel a lot with our 3 young kids (9,7,4) and this was literally one of the best places we have stayed at. First of all, the staff is incredible. The two women who served breakfast every morning were so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The bartender was amazing too — not only were the drinks great, but when he saw my husband and I lifting weights in their (surprisingly awesome) gym with a mountain view, he brought out protein powder for my husband. Just out of pure kindness. He and the rest of the staff were always quick to bring extra towels or anything we needed. And then there’s Marcelo, who deserves his own paragraph. He was basically the heart of the whole hotel — part bartender, part concierge, part tour guide, part kid-wrangler. He found pool noodles for our kids, set up tours and transportation for us, and genuinely went so far above and beyond. We needed some salt and pepper and cooking oil for the kitchen and he went and found some for us! He’s also just a super interesting person and so fun to talk to. The property itself? Stunning. There’s a hot tub overlooking the river and the mountains, and it feels unreal — like something out of a postcard. The grounds are full of beautiful flowers, and the whole vibe is peaceful and lush. There are tropical birds you can watch during breakfast eating fruit! Breakfast every morning was another highlight. Everything was fresh and delicious — smoked salmon, pastries, fruit, pancakes, eggs, bacon, plus mimosas and bloody Marys. We looked forward to it every day. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen fully functional for me to cook several meals for the family. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have the room cleaned everyday! Overall, this place was truly magical for our family. The people, the views, the small thoughtful touches — everything just worked. If you’re on the fence about staying here, absolutely go. We can’t wait to come back.

Wish we could have stayed a month instead of a few days. Great view, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and fantastic breakfast. The room was very comfortable with a full kitchen, outdoor patio, loved it!

A great place to relax after a day on the trail. The view is beautiful, and we loved the peaceful garden – especially the hummingbird feeders, such a lovely detail! The staff were super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. We’re absolutely recommend it to anyone.

The Inn at Palo Alto is just a few kilometers from central Boquete, Panama, conveniently located to many outdoor activities and great dining. The accommodations very very comfortable and the staff warm & welcoming. When you enter the front gate, you are greated by a lush & beautiful garden. In the morning you will have the pleasure of enjoying your breakfast, made to order, outdoors under a cover dining area. The Inn is a must, if visiting Boquete!
