The Inn is incredible. I got married here in October and it was the best experience I could've imagined. Communication was always great with Larissa who helped coordinate the event as well as the reception staff. The rooms were clean and the food was delicious, from the breakfast each morning to the wedding entrees and appetizers. The breakfast/dining area and bar are so beautiful and I loved the extra touches like flavored water and tasty baked goods for the guests. Our guests loved staying here and had so many positive things to say about their experience.

What an enjoyable surprise. We slept really well in a clean, comfortable and quiet bedroom - even though the king bed was so high off the ground it was a challenge to get into it. We had delicious salads for supper in the tavern, and the best hotel breakfast buffet ever in the morning. The chef’s western frittata was exceptional, the bacon crisp and the dining area cosy and inviting.

We loved the Inn at Saratoga. It is in a great location- very close to Congress Park which houses a great museum about the history of the town, as well as fountains where you can sample different mineral waters and paths to walk along. It is also an easy walk right down Broadway to lots of restaurants and shops. Very short drive to the Spa State Park.|The staff (thank you Kelly and Brett!) are very friendly and helpful. We loved the historic charm- the bar and dining room are from the 1800s. Even the elevator is charming!|The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. Great bed, linens, and pillows. Very quiet!|We highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are looking for something unique with character.

Have been coming here for 5 years. Have always gotten a clean and quiet room. Breakfast in the morning is good and you can't beat $15 a person ..The hotel bar/restaurant always has great service . Patrick is always very attentive.. will always come back to here

Location: Right on Broadway, short walk to Casino Park and Saratoga Visitor Center. Service: Staff more than friendly and helpful. Rooms are styled in "old world" elegance with super comfy beds. Stayed several times and always satisfied.

Really a fantastic stay at the Inn at Saratoga. Lovely, large room. Friendly attentive staff. Great breakfast. Love the live music in the very nice bar. We will be back!

Had a room in the cottage (room C). Bigger than I thought it would be. Pretty comfortable. They absolutely have to add black out blinds though. There are two blinds one in the bathroom and one by the sink that are the wrong size and dont reach the window sill so....yeah a view while yiu pee. You get street light all night. The steam shower was a favorite. Breakfast was pretty simple not sure it was worth the cost. Tavern was loud with music so you can't have a conversation BUT wow get that lavender cocktail it was so good. Within walking distance of downtown shopping.

Yelp
For Valentine's Day this year, my husband I decided to try someplace new. Saratoga Springs has a plethora of restaurants and bars so it's challenging to make a selection. The Inn at Saratoga has been on our list for quite some time so I booked it for this special occasion. We arrived on time and there was no one to greet us. In fact, we waited well over five minutes for someone to acknowledge us at the restaurant's podium which, considering we were expected, was disappointing. The bar and restaurant had two patrons each. Where was everyone? There are two places where you can have dinner at the Inn. I specifically chose the restaurant and not the bar although the bar looked inviting if you were going for a drink. The restaurant follows the comfy Victorian decor of the Inn. I loved the plush seating. The marble table was pretty but my husband's plate kept sliding when he cut his beef. Perhaps a lace placemat would solve that issue without detracting from the theme. We both ordered the Scallop and Pistachio appetizer which was exceptional. The seafood was cooked to perfection and the marriage of flavors was spot-on. My husband ordered the Beef Wellington ($40), a special. Unfortunately, the thick gravy detracted from the flavor of the beef; he attempted to remove it. I would recommend to the chef that the gravy be offered on the side because it contributed to creating a slightly soggy pastry at presentation. My Duck was superb. The parts that were exposed were crispy as they should be. Yum - I was in Heaven! The poultry was augmented with a glaze that was tasty but again, I would suggest offering it on the side because the skin of the duck that was covered with the glaze wasn't crisp. Both entrées were served with the vegetable and starch of the day. The green beans were crisp and delicious as were the fingerling potatoes. Good accompaniments! We ordered an IPA beer (husband) and a split of Prosecco with a dash of crémé de cassis for me. Delightful. We shared a crème brûlée which was a bit of a disappointment. Coming from someone who has a passion for this special dessert, the Inn's version was more pudding-like (thick) than creamy. It was also served in a deep cup rather than a flat one which limited the surface area for the wonderful crunchy burnt sugar on top. Our server, Purlin, did a fine job. She was cheerful, pleasant and well informed. She earned five stars. The sense of arrival and cuisine get 3-1/2. We will return when seeking that unique ambiance and a fine meal.

Yelp
Fair price, historic but in need of much TLC. Our room was large but, again, quite warn-looking. Common areas are not particularly inviting, although the larger parlor has potential- spacious but very worn. The hallways are also worn, with runners that should be replaced. The bathroom was adequate but at least clean. Very short on amenities-- no bottled water (after all, it is Saratoga!), no complimentary lotions or small soaps, cotton balls, nothing! Breakfast was very disappointing--a warmed-over egg sandwich and cold cereals. The best experience was the complimentary two small homemade pieces of fudge upon checkout!

Yelp
It's an old inn that has its definite charms. However, some parts of the hotel looks extremely worn down. Our room looked like a time capsule, and it smelled old too. Location was convenient, lots of fast-food drive thrus in the area. It's also a quick walk downtown. Overall not bad, just old. Probably won't stay here again.

Yelp
AWEFUL!! The Bartender was very rude and disrespectful. The drinks he made were disgusting and ridiculously overpriced. Two drinks one house draft stale old beer and a old fashioned he charged us 28.00 for the two drinks. I'm sure he was adding extra for himself. Not surprised seeing there was no one else at the bar and only 4 people eating dinner at the tables at 7pm on a Friday night. The music was annoying some open mic that didn't fit the place. Unfortunately the rude bartender was also the food server and was either having a bad night, hates his job, or just hates people. The food was cold, overpriced and flavorless. We asked to speak to the General Manager but there was none. Typical and this is why we are writing this review. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They are rude and extremely overpriced. The bartender ruined our night. Would never recommend this place to anyone ever. AWEFUL !

Yelp
This was the worst dining experience we have had in 30 plus years. We have dined at restaurants throughout the US and by far the worst bartender (John) most inexperience server we have ever had. My husband and I ordered two drinks at the bar waiting for our daughter. The drinks were so bad we asked him to remake them. After his extremely rude remarks he reluctantly did only to find this time on purpose he watered them down and they were awful. He then charged us 27.00 for the two drinks not including tip of which we did not give him. When my 16 year old daughter arrived we sat down for dinner and this experience even got worse. The old bitter bartender who hates his job would not stop staring at our daughter which made her incredibly uncomfortable. What a creep. The server seemed to be drinking because we smelled alcohol on his breath and his eyes were completely red and glossy. We had three entrees which were absolutely horrible. The bill was 187.51 which was with no salads and three iced teas knowing that the drinks were so disgusting we didn't order anymore. If it wasn't for the fact we were staying there for one night and it was after 8pm we would of explored for a place to eat especially after the drinks the creepy old bartender tried to make. The server told us he is always in a bad mood. The rooms were extremely outdated, dirty and the sheets were definitely not recently changed. When checking out we asked to speak to the owner and or manager and there was none. Basically the worst bartender, food and lodging experience we ever had. We sat in the corner table where we could see the chef and two cooks or dishwashers on the side of the bar outside smoking cigarettes. Disgusting! This ruined our stay in saratoga and wish not to ever experience anything like that again. The mean old bitter bartender should be fired. Aweful. Horrible. Disgusting!

Yelp
This review is for the tavern at the inn. Nice little spot just off the busy section of Broadway to grab a drink or a bite (we didn't eat there, but the food looked good). Get a table by the floor-to-ceiling windows, or grab a seat at the intimate bar. There's also a fireplace in the adjacent lounge - not sure if tavern guests are permitted to enjoy a cocktail there or if it's only for guests staying at the inn. There was live music the night we stopped in - singer with an acoustic guitar and a keyboard player - and they were awesome. This place isn't in your face but has a comfy cozy vibe that grows on you (especially after a couple of drinks lol).

Yelp
Stayed in the Brownell cottage. Large rocks to hold open door. Needs updating. Furniture scraped and old. View from balcony overlooked a main intersection. The jets in the hot tub had brown grime in them. Homeless people walking around and cursing.

Rebecca A.

Yelp
I REALLY wanted to love this place. Booked Brownell Cottage Suite C specifically bc I wanted a whirlpool tub & fireplace for my honeymoon; neither worked. For $325+ a night, it definitely wasn't worth it. Bathroom lights also kept going out. And the bars on the windows were unsettling in case of a fire. We opted out of the $15/each breakfast the next morning. I wanted to discuss these things upon checking out (if only so they got fixed for the next guests), but we were pressed for time and a sweet young woman was minding the desk. I definitely wasn't going to unload all that on her and we didn't have time to ask for management, so we just paid the hefty fee and left. We did enjoy the live music and a cocktail after our ceremony on Friday night & the staff was very nice, but the rest of the experience was a major disappointment for a honeymoon. I would go back for music, cocktails, & a bite to eat but wouldn't book a room again.

Yelp
Great potential. Very very dated. But clean and comfortable with lovely front desk staff Lauren. In order to see the tv from bed you will need binoculars It's like staying at a friend's house. Ok thanks. But not luxury if that's what you're thinking Good location in terms of being able to walk downtown. That's a huge plus When we arrived we were hoping we could wine and dine on site. But no dice. CLOSED. Ok whatever Needs some TLC but no judgement

Yelp
Great food. A beautiful atmosphere. Nice band playing in the background. Our waitress Kathy was wonderful!!!

Yelp
This is the worst experience we have ever had in Saratoga Springs. Both bartenders were extremly rude...one was half drunk...the other one bitter old man who hates his job. The food was discusting and extremly overpriced. One patron margarita we were charge 27.00 and the draft beer was 16.00 The food was horrible and not edible. This made our visit to Saratoga just aweful. I would reccomend never ever eat at this hole. No owner available and no manager available to speak to. We never ate the slop that was rudely served to us and sent the floating slop in oil back as soon as it wad put down..they still tried to charge us for the whole thing..discusting. Incredibly unprofessional and the bathroom had urine all over the floor. We called the health inspector immediatly the following day. Hope no one has to ever experience such discustingly made drinks by some old over the hill drunk bartender and have to go through what we went through.

Yelp
A lovely old school Inn furnished one a way to take you back in time. The restaurant is solid and reasonably priced with hearty staples. The ravioli we ordered needed work as it was a bit one note of sweet and slightly undercooked. The campanelle with raging was delicious. So I think some dishes hit and others don't. A good place for a low key dinner.

Yelp
I will start with the positive, the breakfast that is included with your stay was absolutely incredible! They had fresh eggs Benedict, homemade apple crisp, waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, 3 different homemade sweet breads, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, OJ, coffee tea. We stayed in Brownell Cottage Suite A, it needs some updating. The carpet was pretty worn. I understand that they're going for an antique feel but there was a bunch of useless furniture that was really old. The 2 chairs looked dingy and over used. The mini fridge is on the floor, it really should be elevated so your not kneeling on the ground to try to use it. The bed was extra soft, too soft for my preference. The TV is tiny for the room and distance from the bed. The bathroom is massive, but the shower floor was slick. I couldn't find any USB ports in the room, there may have been one on the TV, but I'm use to hotels having them on the nightstand. The water pressure was awful and the shower has a steam feature, the toilet required holding down the handle to properly flush and the jacuzzi tub wasn't anything special, it. The suite walls are pretty thin, so you can really hear what's going on in suite B, so if you can hear them, I'm sure they're hearing you. The Brownell Cottage Suite A is located in a separate building so you have to walk outside through the parking lot to get to breakfast, ice, vending.

Yelp
Menu: Very limited. Appetizers were cheese or cheese finger foods. There were 5 entree offerings at best, and pretty standard. My husband and I were so excited to see duck on the menu, only find it very dry with barely any sauce. Our son's brisket was acceptable, but a very small portion. Atmosphere: so-so. There was music in the bar that was very loud. The ladie's room was downright shabby and not clean. Our server Chris was charming and accomodating. The Main Issue: Years ago we were given a $100 gift certificate as a wedding present. When I called to make the reservation, I asked if they'd still accept it. Of course they would, the manager said. Just to be sure, we mentioned it again when we were seated. Chris double-checked, and told us they'd be happy honor it. When it was time to pay the check, we gave the gift certificate along with our credit card. Poor Chris came back to tell us they would not honor it. We paid nearly $200 (with tip) for 3 people.

Yelp
Our trip to Saratoga/Lake George was such a pleasant experience! Thanks to the staff of this Inn ! About 30 mins away from Lake George this inn is a perfect location to enjoy both areas. We arrived a few hours early, the host Pre booked us and said she'd call if the room was ready. In the meantime we went into Lake George to enjoy the day and made it back by the time our room was ready at 5 ( checking is at 3). The inn has a beautiful vintage charm. With beautiful details in every corner. They have a station setup with water and coffee. Staff is so accommodating we forgot to mention we need a fridge since they have limited rooms with fridges they offered to hold our child's milk in their staff fridge. Which was sooooooo nice of them. Staff was attentive and made sure we were comfortable. They had live music playing during the Fourth of July festivities. Staff was knowledgeable of the area and recommended plenty of things to do. Food was delicious! Thank you so much!!

Yelp
It's like falling gracefully back in time. From the moment you enter this gem you await Ladies giggles, sipping tea and gentleman dressed to the nines smoking cigars and wearing hats. I could spend hours seating in the Parlour sipping delectably delicious cocktails or enjoying a succulent prime rib. The elevator even feels as if you are riding on a time capsule and I hope they never change it. The rooms, hallways and bathrooms have been graciously updated to reflect modern conveniences, yet maintain the historical ambience that will draw me back again. Charming. Ageless. Comfortable. I came here thinking my husband and I would roam the entirety of Broadway, but instead we enjoyed every moment of this gorgeous place! When staying in Saratoga I urge you to check in and go back in time. Well done!

Julie B.

Yelp
Love love love this comfortable piece of history! Such a great location! Immediately between St. Peter's and Dunkin Donuts. Excellent check-in, Bree was very professional and personable. Great WiFi in our room. Lobby area had both hot coffee and fruit infused water AND cookies. Hot shower, comfy bed. Bar was open til 10:30 or so. So much more personality than hotel chains.

John S.

Yelp
Disclaimer: found this hotel through Groupon This hotel gets a solid 4.6 rating, as it stood out in many places for me and my girlfriend. Outstanding and hospitable customer service from the young girls at the desk. Really really good like way better than we expected inclusive breakfast every morning. Awesome bar with live music on most nights which was a great way to start off our nights in Saratoga. And last but not least - they let us check in early at 1pm, which was awesome after a really long drive. Thank you ! Will recommend to others

Lou G.

Yelp
Quaint old hotel (oldest in Saratoga) in a pleasant area of town. 2 minute walk to Congress Park and 10 minute walk to the downtown bar/restaurant area. Rooms were nice and clean but could use a small refresh. Plenty of free parking. The hotels bar was very nice after a long day. We had crab cakes at the bar which were delicious and came with delicious potatoes and string beans.

Roma M.

Yelp
If one could box up the Saratoga vibe in one place -- it would be the Inn at Saratoga. The location is perfect; it's steps from Congress Park to the north and Saratoga Spa State Park to the south. The decor is historic; there's fresh lemon water, coffee/tea, and homemade ginger snaps in the lobby. The rooms are huge with lace curtains, 19th century-feel furniture and horse/Saratoga artwork hanging everywhere. The soap/shampoo products in the bathroom are high end. The free breakfast in the morning is next-level good. Fresh eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries and great coffee served Buffett style in a beautiful parlor overlooking Broadway. The hotel also offers free passes to the YMCA for use of their gym, pool, sauna, and whirlpool tub. Highly-recommend.

Yelp
Our first time visiting Saratoga Springs, NY and staying at The Inn At Saratoga. It was everything our friends told us it was! From the moment we checked in to the time we departed our stay at The Inn At Saratoga was wonderful! Jennifer who was a delight at the front desk, to Ryan also at the front desk, to Karen the breakfast chef who served up the best breakfasts with everything made with love! We picked her brain for some of her recipes. Patrick our bartender in the hotel was accommodating when we asked about certain drinks. Everyone was just so welcoming. We booked for July and New Years Eve because of the warmth of the employee. Hotel had much history, in walking distance to everything which was a plus. Looking forward to our upcoming stays.

Yelp
With my companion had two wonderful meals while enjoying some live music at an indoor facility. I had the filet which was cooked to perfection medium rare as I requested. My friend enjoyed her Salmon as well service was great. Music and crowd filled the room and really gave a feeling of getting back to normal. Not at all the restaurants fault but it seemed a little silly as I was early and ordered a glass of wine. The bartender as required that I had to purchase food. It didn't matter if I was having a full meal shortly. So I ordered 2 meatballs for $5.00 with my wine. I don't blame the restaurant at all as they must follow the law. Both my companion have had both our shots over a month ago. When she arrived I merely said let's wait and order your drink when we get a table. NYS has totally screwed the restaurant business here. They are just making visiting a restaurant visit more uncomfortable for it clients. This really has to stop.

Steven C.

Yelp
Very charming suite. Reasonably priced. Separate living room and comfortable bedroom, furnished in country inn style. Four poster bed is high off the floor so a bit tricky for short folks. Conveniently located on the heart of town, and included parking. $8 fixed priced buffet breakfast. Fruit, yogurt, cereal, egg or other hot dish, bagels, muffins etc. Will review restaurant separately. For now, will say it was excellent.

Sarah H.

Yelp
I wasn't as thrilled about my visit / experience as I expected to be. The front desk and wait staff in the bar area were not very pleasant. My room has numerous things broken and the tv was left on when I got there in. I felt like A) someone didn't do a good job cleaning or checking the room before putting me in there or B) someone hadn't stayed in that room in ages. I would call down to the front desk and have to dial hang up, dial hang up, etc. because no one would answer the phone. It left a lot to be desired.

Olivia S.

Yelp
Super cozy, old, historic inn. Very nice staff, wonderful bar with live entertainment, great happy hour and delicious food and nice patio. The breakfast buffet was so yummi. The inn is walking distance to everything in the beautiful downtown. King Suite was large, very rustic and cozy with a very comfortable bed. We couldn't have asked for a better stay here! Thank you for everything Lauren and team.

Vicki P.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour. Choices were good and waitress was sweet. Ordered the sliders salad and soup and fries. The angel kiss drink is yummy and I suggest you try it. Then an additional treat of wonderful entertainment l!! Didn't want to leave but had to catch a movie. Try this place it's really good!

Yelp
We had a Very unpleasant welcome. We drove in about 1:30 pm walked to the front desk and I was asked if I was from AAA because my keys jungled and also because I was not caucasian. We were told very rudely to go away and comeback later to check in. Was never asked for a name. We drive to downtown and had a great stay at the Adelphi. The staf need some customer service training.

Yelp
I stayed in Brownell cottage suite A, about a year ago in March. I was in town for a conference and was excited to relax in a space that was outside of the norm. I didn't wish to stay at a modern hotel that pretty much cost the same. If you're looking for a quaint, relaxing space with character, the cottages is the way to go. More like a carriage house, it offers an apartment style living. The pros: Nice decor and setup Door to the side patio from bedroom Porch with rockers (tooo cold for me to enjoy in March) flatscreen tv Jetted hot tub in its own room. The bathroom is huuuuge and I believe it had heated floors. Full length mirror The breakfast is outstanding for complimentary Ample lighting options Close to shopping about a half mile walk Live music in the tavern Friendly staff at front desk Access to the YMCA with key and ID Now, I believe it could use the folllwing updates: Updated coffee maker Extra blankets The bed is a nice size but not comfortable. It's placed on a. Slant so the head of the bed is slanted down. I ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed Could use a better front door curtain. It's thin and shabby The bedside lights are only accessible at the front of the room, so you have to get out of bed if you want the lights off There's a fridge in the room but no microwave Could benefit from a robe, especially with the hot jetted tub feature Parking can be iffy. Lights on the front porch are darling, but can be a bit of a distraction when trying to sleep(for me, because I'm a light sleeper and need blackout blinds. They are everywhere else in the room but not the front door which shines right into the bed) There's no "sleep" function on the remote All in all a great darling place to stay. I enjoyed my relaxing stay, but it would have been superb with a luxurious robe to complement the hot jetted tub, as well as a more comfortable bed and bedding. If I return this March for the conference, I will request to stay in the cottages again.

Marcelo G.

Yelp
Our stay was very enjoyable. Having traveled all the way across the country from California we would have a slept anywhere after such a long journey but I am more than glad we stayed here. We got there super early and they let us check in way before the scheduled time, the rooms were super clean bed like a dream and to my surprise the buffet in the morning was delicious. I never eat hotel buffers cuz it's usually crummy food but everything they had was fresh and amazing. I was so glad I had a real NY bagell!

Yelp
Historical building with up to date living quarters Just stayed one night for this trip but have stayed here before hot coffee and teas as you walk through the front door after checking in a burning fire place with bar and sitting room to make you feel at home the room it's self was warm with cherry wood furniture thoughout Soft bed with fluffy pillows breakfast was a self serve buffet with warm pastries fresh out of the oven cheesey eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels We will be back

Yelp
Cons: -The "suite" part of the king suite was weirdly shaped and not particularly usable, but still nice to have a little extra space -It's close but not smack in the middle of the main downtown strip (0.5 miles feels far when walking in the frigid winter) -Limited guest parking -Bathtub and sink drained a little slowly -I've been in fancier hotels around the same price point and the upkeep is probably tough on such an old hotel, but its character can be worth the money if you don't like the corporate sameness of a Holiday Inn or Marriotts Pros: -Best free breakfast I've ever had at a hotel and the staff servicing the breakfast bar were really cheerful and fast to bring food out -Comfy, palatially large king size beds -Very clean bathroom with nice, updated fixtures and really nice smelling bathroom products -Very lovely antique furnishing and gorgeous rooms that were still super cozy and usable -Whole hotel has a great aesthetic. Lots of wood, sinky wingtip armchairs, and a fire to shake off the winter cold -Friendly, helpful, not snooty at all, local-loving front desk staff -Downstairs bar had slow but friendly service and a great happy hour menu -Tea, coffee, water and little snacks are always available downstairs

Yelp
Romantic weekend away in November. Reserved through a third party site and was instantly upgraded to a king room upon arrival. Front desk staff were wonderful the while trip. Knowledgeable of local attractions which was really appreciated since we had never been in the area. Room was on 2nd floor in the front building facing the road (more on this later). There appears to be two distinctive buildings. The room was much nicer than I expected. Really nice antique furniture and honestly, it was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever seen. Lovely four poster bed with a super comfortable mattress. The linens were so soft, I wanted to take the duvet home. The heat was off in the room and it was less than 60 in there, but it heated up quickly. Bathroom was great, obviously remodeled recently. Bathroom had it's own heater which felt luxurious. Excellent toiletries, all natural and chemical free plus makeup remover wipes, etc- it's the little things, right? Did I mention free (but unsecured) wifi? All that said, I did not sleep the first night. At all. It was noisy from the traffic at the intersection and then- then, for reasons unknown to anyone, someone decided to mow the grass in front of the hotel at 4:30AM. For the life of me, I cannot imagine why this would be necessary (especially in late November) but unfortunately, that happened. Ear plugs worked just fine the next night. As for breakfast, which is included, the first morning (Friday) it was a little sad- really overripe fruit and generally carb heavy. Homemade mini muffins and dessert-type breads. Yogurt and granola were really tasty. My boyfriend said his bagel was one of the best he's ever had. The dining room is really beautiful and sunny. On Saturday there were lots more folks in the dining room and there were a few hot stations of scrambled eggs, bacon, and roasted potatoes in addition to fresh fruit salad and all the other bread things. We were happy. We ate in the bar area one night and, as food jerks, we were pleasantly surprised. I had a great kale salad, boyfriend had the brisket which was the biggest portion of food I've ever seen. Next night we had a couple drinks which was nice to not have to stray from the hotel. There was a live band but we came too late. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I would stay again. There was so much character without the unfortunate nuances that come with old houses and character. We walked into the village both days and really enjoyed the proximity to the town center. I'd explore rooms that were further from the road in the future. I feel that this was a really great value since we only paid a bit over a hundred bucks a night.

Yelp
Lovely lovely lovely!!! From the moment you walk in the door... you're greeted by a friendly engaging staff. The lobby is pretty and inviting... the bar is off the lobby with a great ambiance of soft lights and tables for groups of any size. Nice little round tables with over stuffed chairs by the window.. for two or add tables together opposite the bar for more!! We enjoyed a nice dinner by the window and after went into a sitting room to enjoy a great Irish seesion with local players... it was lovely... and great music!! A very enjoyable evening... again the staff members were very nice and service was great Our room and bath were spotless! A large sitting room and king sized bedroom were very nicely appointed. Comfy bed!!! Oh yes!!! Breakfast the next morning was delicious!! Fresh eggs with tomato and cheese. Sausage and roasted potatoes for my husband...Fresh fruit yogurt and granola my choices. Something for everyone... eggs meat potatoes fruit yogurt .... great choice of boxed cereal bagels and an assortment of breads to choose from... Fresh OJ !!! Nice job!!! Thank you for a great stay!!!! We shall see you again!!

Yelp
We love this inn and always use it to host our guests when they come to Saratoga Springs. It has such wonderful old charm and so much character. The staff is always beyond friendly making our family and friends feel right at home, always going the extra mile to make their stay amazing. The location is perfect. It's walking distance to everything; restaurants, bars, shopping and Congress Park. I'd highly recommend the Inn at Saratoga if you are in town or have guests staying with you in Saratoga Springs.

Yelp
No complaints here. Very nice staff and rooms were spotless. Considering it's an antique hotel I was surprised going into the room that they did not smell musty at all. Free hot breakfast in the morning with bacon, sausage, eggs, hash browns, coffee, eggs, danish, fruit, cereal and more. Best free breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Nice bar with really good food and happy hour from 4pm-7pm with live music after. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in the area. Around $5 uber to the racetrack/casino. Highly recommend this place to stay or to just eat dinner and enjoy some live music.

Yelp
On Friday (8-17), we had dinner in the dining room..lovely, victorian architecture, and furniture. Jordan was our server. She was very sweet, knowledgeable and attentive. Our mains of 1/2 Roasted Chicken (tender and delicious), and Lobster Mac and Cheese were excellent! On Saturday (8-18), we came in for dinner again. Will was our server this time. He was very helpful and also knew the menu. We had Herbed Salmon with spring pea risotto and a citrus sauce on the side. The other main was Spinach and Feta Ravioli with parmesan sauce. Both were out of this world!! The chef does a wonderful job. After dinner in the lounge area, there was a singer and a guitar accompanist..they were very good. A very enjoyable time will be had there if you go!!

Yelp
Charming old Inn in downtown Saratoga walking distance to all the shops and entertainment. The Inn was relatively inexpensive and included a nice full breakfast with all the usual "hotel" fare. I expected just a room but it was a quaint suite with a sitting room and antique style furniture. They give a 10% discount if you drive a hybrid or have an AAA membership. We had a very delicious dinner in their bar restaurant. The food was Gourmet with reasonable prices. Between four of us we had the crusted haddock, salmon roulade, brisket and lamb and each dish was prepared expertly and presented beautifully. Don't skip dessert! The bananas foster is wonderful and the creme brulee was delicious too. I would definitely recommend not only staying here but eating here. The building is old so keep that in mind when trying to plug in your appliances.

Yelp
On the pros side, the hotel is very cute - we liked the decor and found the room to be clean. Also we liked the breakfast that they had and appreciated the selection and food. On the cons side, they had a wedding going on that day. Aparently, the reception started around 9 PM. We were on the THIRD floor up and our room was shaking. I would have assumed if music was going to be playing at that level they would have had some sort of soundproof enclosure? RIght? Nope. They had a tent. That was the only thing that was seperting 2000 amps of sound from the hotel guests. If you enjoy having your child go to bed while hearing "APPLE BOTTOM JEANS, BOOTS WITH THE FURRRRR," until 11 PM after traveling all day and the bass shaking your room, you may be more pleased than we were. I understand that they have weddings but either have a structure so that the sound is not audible to the guests at that volume and maybe, let guests know when they check in so they arent surprised when 9 PM rolls around and they think a pop up nightclub opened up in back of the hotel. Secondly, we had problems with the heat. I turned it on to 70. We woke up to a room that was 89 degrees (oh, that is when we finally got to sleep after the music died down). It was impossible to regulate. We turned it off only to wake up again to a freezing room. I put it back on low and it was a furnace. Clearly something was broken but at 2 AM this is not something I should have been dealing with. Lastly we had an issue when checking in - partly this was to blame on the inconsiderate guests in front of us but when we pulled into the enterence there was only valet parking (due to the wedding) and the car in front of us hadnt figured out what 2 lanes of traffic looks like so they pulled directly in the middle of the road and (no joke) took 15 minutes fooling around and unloading their car while our car and another was waiting. The valet should have suggested they move their car or done something. It was pretty obnoxious. We will not be staying here again. We came here to sleep (silly us!) after a long day of travel and should not have had this experience.

Yelp
The perfect little get away, far enough from the busting city with beautiful scenery all around, to feel that you are far from home. My husband and I stayed in the Jr. Suite and the room has an amazing view of the creek to make you feel like you are in a little cottage in the woods. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Looking for a place for our daughter's bridal shower. Banquet room was perfect. Stayed for dinner. I have got to rate this place at "A" level. Service was really friendly and the food was excellent. Atmosphere is from tavern to formal. Quiet and slightly out of the way. Worth trying

Yelp
I was totally pleased with my stay at the Inn at Saratoga. Granted, there were some bizarre aspects to this place...like the front desk employee who appeared to be in need of some methadone, or the fact that my friends' room only had one light in it... My room, however, was great. The whole hotel has a nice old school Saratoga feel to it. When I walked in I felt like I was in town to watch the late, great Man O'War race at the Track. The hotel lobby is filled with antique furniture, as are the individual rooms. My king sized bed was really, really comfortable and the shower had awesome water pressure. As an added bonus for me (and I'm sure a nightmare for the other guests) there was a piano outside of my room. There's really nothing I love more than pounding out a tune at 3am. Sorry for partying. Lastly, the breakfast. When I reserved my room it said "free breakfast". This wasn't my first rodeo, so I was expecting some partially frozen english muffins, some dried out bagels and some wormy apples. On Saturday morning I was greeted with VATS of bacon, eggs, oatmeal, fruit salad, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea...basically a legit breakfast. On Sunday morning they gave us eggs benedict and belgian waffles. This hotel is easily accessible and pretty awesome, so I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
The bed was comfortable. I will stop there. The hallway and room stunk like cigarette smoke. The carpet in the hallway was peeling up. The paint is chipping on all walls and doors. The shower was ice cold. The rooms were very small and very out of date. The pictures that we saw online and descriptions were very deceiving. Highly disappointed and cancelled our second night. It was done without hesitation by the front desk which makes me feel like we aren't the first. For $200 a night after taxes should have been a $60 a night fee at best. Know what you are getting into before you go.

Yelp
In a sea of dining choices, many of them excellent, is this overlooked gem. First off, being located in an inn might put some people off. That would be a mistake. I am happy to report on several fine meals here; two that were made up from apps and sides and a salmon Caesar salad. I am talking about the French onion soup, pan-seared scallops (generous portion for an appetizer), and a side of pesto linguini. Everything I've had here was really well executed. The dining room is all Victorian charm; many tables have their own lamps. The bar is nice too though different; the outside walls are floor-to-ceiling glass bringing the outside in. There is often acoustical type music entertainment in the bar but nothing too loud. The sound does not make it to the dining room. The bar area has about five tables for dining. So this place scores in my book on food and décor; service is A.O.K. Oh, and the prices are reasonable.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here on New Year's Eve. I booked this hotel because it is on Broadway and we wanted to be able to walk to the First Night events/dinner. That worked out really well and I am happy with the location of this hotel. I didn't appreciate how when we checked in the girl behind the counter told us our suite was in the back building but didn't give us any more direction than that. It was getting dark when we checked in and we were really confused walking around the building looking for our suite. The suite was nice and unique but not awesome. It was sparsely decorated and the walls were so thin we could hear the people in the suite next door talking. My boyfriend is a stomach sleeper and the pillows are far too puffy for that. Definitely learned a lesson and we will bring our own pillows the next time we travel. I didn't love the hard bed either. I really liked the bathroom. The shower has multiple showerheads (two come straight at you at chest level and one from the top) and there is a steam button to make the shower all steamy which is kind of fun. The jacuzzi tub fits two comfortably. They also give you lots of little soaps and shower caps, lotion, etc. The breakfast in the morning was kinda pointless. We got there towards the end of it (it ends at 9:30am I think) and there wasn't much hot food left. I had a bagel and some eggs and bacon. I wouldn't choose to stay at this hotel again probably. Nothing was wrong with it but nothing was great about it. The suite cost $260 I think and it definitely wasn't worth that price tag, especially after seeing in the other reviews what other people paid for rooms! The bathroom was my favorite part of the room but I don't think it was worth the huge price difference.

Yelp
This is my fourth time at the inn. Although they are doing everything they can during this pandemic, cleanliness is top notch especially how they have serving size of cream for coffee and everything wrapped up individually. The young lady at the front desk on Sundays who checks you in could be more friendly and smile more. I just worked sixteen weeks straight at a hospital during a nationwide pandemic, and this was my first time off and I chose to come back to Saratoga, no horse races to watch, no casino and homeless addicts in your streets. Try a little harder to welcome your guests, smile and be a little kinder.

Yelp
My family came to the restaurant for Christmas Eve dinner. I had never dined here before, and wasn't sure what to expect. I was blown away by the experience. The ambiance was elegant, romantic, and warm without being stuffy. I am a pescetarian, and sometimes only have 1 or 2 menu options when dining out, but this was not the case at The Inn. It was a challenge deciding from all the wonderful options. I went with an amazing kale & blue cheese salad, and a grilled salmon/hollandaise dish with stuffed potatoes and haricot vert. Everything was fabulous-- even the warm fresh rolls with garlic butter. The service was also excellent. I will absolutely return when I am back in Saratoga, perhaps to even check out the bar and inn! Thank you to the restaurant staff for giving us a lovely Christmas Eve dinner experience.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here as a quick night away. Such a quaint, old hotel filled with lots of history. The rooms were so clean and had everything you would need for a quick visit. The bad and restaurant downstairs was perfect. The weekly musicians was a great add to our night as well! Breakfast in the morning was delicious!

Yelp
We stayed for one night and I have rarely felt like I have gotten the same value in a lodging place. TIAS has a B&B feel to it. The rooms are clean, beautiful and comfortably large. It reminded us of The Tower of Terror ride at Disney without all the cobwebs and ghosts (?). The staff was sparse, but friendly and helpful. It is listed in the 2014 annual directory of Historic Hotels of America and the Victorian furniture and woodwork gives the space a rich, warm feeling. Breakfast was included in our stay, but they stop serving at 9:30 and we decided to sleep in. However, I have read that the food is exceptionally good.

Yelp
Great place to stay. Had a "girls day" out here earlier this year and it was fabulous. The food and service were both top notch. Decided to have a wedding luncheon here last weekend. Again, everything was perfect. The food was terrific at both the luncheon and the complimentary breakfast the next morning. Stayed in one of the suites and was very pleased. My compliments to the chefs, staff and Martha for making my wedding weekend so memorable!
