Fantastic stay, loved the proximity to the slopes. The breakfast buffet was great, and the food and service at the various restaurants were top notch. My wife enjoyed the spa. The included ski lockers were very convenient. Hot tub, pool, sauna, and gym were all 👌 We look forward to staying again.

Phenomenal rooms. Clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed! The views are incredible! Beds were so comfortable! Perfect pillows!

I expected something else considering a 3 star inn category - but The Inn far exceeded my expectations. The village is so cute, lean, easy to navigate and everyone was kind and helpful. We rented equipment, got lift tickets (Heidi was so helpful), used the shuttle, visited the Club for pool hot tub and sauna. We ate at Honeycomb for dinner every night & food was phenomenal! The complimentary breakfast at St: Bernard’s was also unexpected and plentiful. I work in five star hotels, so again my expectations were low - but I can’t wait to return with my kids! Such a gem of a place compared to other busy options out West.

You can hear the neighbors. The sound seems to travel through the vents. And smells travel through the vents. We smelled someone’s bowel movement, and hair spray in our bathroom. It’s enough to make me not want to come back.

I've never had a bad stay here! In the spring, the rates are very reasonable and the amenities are good. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Ski in ski out as the Inn is the closest of the lodgings to the main Apex Express lift. I highly recommend Solitude, especially for spring riding and skiing! When you stay at the end you also have complimentary membership to Club Solitude which has a nice Fitness center, pool and hot tubs as well as a sauna.

I always appreciate a good ski in and ski out hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. I wish that there was a garage to park the car but they do offer a valet for $15 dollars a day and will help unbury your car. They have a little 4x4 to drive you and all your luggage to the car which you have to park at the end of the little village walkway. Honestly not that far but not super convenient for unloading and loading. I always appreciate a hotel stay where I can do a couple loads of laundry and theirs is absolutely free which is nice. Cons to this is that there is only one washer so you have to wait if it’s in use. Overall I would stay here again if I’m looking for a ski in ski out hotel stay with nice staff and not horrifically busy. We even stayed between Christmas and News Years holiday week and the hotel itself did not feel overcrowded. The lift lines however were a different story.

Perfect ski-in, ski-out hotel! The room was spacious, comfortable and had unlisted amenities such as microwave, box fan, humidifier, and access to a ski locker in the basement. Cocoa or coffee also available in the lobby all day. Daily sit-down breakfast for 2 people is included daily for each room. This is at the St. Bernard restaurant downstairs, and the breakfast was fantastic! Solitude village is a great little place, the Thirsty Squirrel bar is fun, the Stone Haus pizza was excellent and very reasonably priced. There is a general store as well with a small supply of essentials that you may have forgotten (food, toiletries, etc). I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Inn at Solitude! The staff is what made it! Everyone was incredibly nice and did what they could to make our stay pleasant. I had read some previous comments about not enough food choices. Just remember you’re on the top of a mountain so pack well. Bring food. Bring everything you might need. They do have the restaurant on site as well as a pizza shop with salads outside. The pizza shop was a fair price for up at a ski resort and the discounts for breakfast were much appreciated! You can ski to apex which is a more advanced lift or hop on the shuttle over to Link and Moonbeam. You can also take a small hike up a hill to link if you want to avoid the shuttle. The ski lockers are very helpful! Utilize club solitude. It’s so nice! We loved sitting in the hot tubs outside and soaking in the fresh mountain air. The game room in club solitude was really fun too! Can’t wait to come back!
