The Inn at Round Barn Farm was amazing. We stayed in the Richardson room and it was beautiful! Exposed wood beam ceiling, fireplace, huge bathroom area with a sky light visible from the shower. The grounds and gardens were beautiful with views everywhere!!||Breakfast both mornings was delicious, fresh, home-made. We ate outside and the view was spectacular!||Staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

We picked this venue for our bucket list trip to tour New England, and what a find! The staff and owners are very personable, informative, and overall just great people. Ashley cooks amazing dishes for breakfast, the coffee is delicious, and the venue is beautiful, even in the dormancy of the end of winter:) This is due not only to the nature of the property, but also to the talents of the longtime gardener, Carol. Nicely done by all. We highly recommend stopping at The Inn at Round Barn Farm and taste the best that Vermont has to offer. We will be back!

I have stayed at the Round Barn several times now and each time I have been greeted as though I am family. Both Ashley ( the chef and innkeeper) and Kim ( the owner) are always gracious and warm. Ashley’s breakfasts are truly phenomenal, especially her delicate omelettes and her feather light pancakes. |The rooms in the inn are beautiful and well appointed and the grounds are exquisite. All in all, a first class experience.

Charming bed and breakfast just a few minutes from downtown Waitsfield. Friendly staff, my wife enjoyed talking with them each day. Don’t skip their excellent breakfasts! Some of the best I can remember. Comfortable room. Ours had a nice fireplace too. Short drive to sugarbush and good local restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Oh my god. I can’t say enough good things about this place! The room was spacious and comfortable. Ashley cooked delicious breakfasts that we will try at home. She and the owner, Jim, had terrific recommendations for local activities and tips. We would be delighted to return!

Google
I love this place. Self check in was so easy. They have a very reasonably priced honor system bar and snack area. If you have any questions, you just text them. Beds were comfortable and have plenty of room. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff super nice/helpful. Their coffee was excellent. Breakfast was usually an egg and protein dish but you can do to go too. Very easy drive to sugarbush to ski. Ambiance and decor (and staff) makes you feel at home.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Historic home with beautiful gardens, great room with the fire place, steam room and jacuzzi, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, friendly service, free wifi, plenty of parking. If I could give them 10 star review, I would.

We loved our stay at The Inn at the Round Barn Farm!! Jim and Kim really looked after us - the breakfast was amazing, rooms super cozy and comfortable, and there's a lot to do in the area. I'd happily return when next in Vermont, it's really a beautiful place to stay.

Yelp
My wife and I were married in the round barn and booked a room for a couple of nights. The location is beautiful and the food that was provided for the wedding was excellent.

Yelp
I was super impressed with everything The Inn At The Round Barn Farm had to offer. We were guests at a wedding and spent a super peaceful weekend here. We could've easily stayed longer. The food was suburb! Lots of farm to table meals, and home cooked baked goods too. The staff went above and beyond creating plates just for me, a vegan, and for our girlfriend who is gluten free. I was treated to specially made vegan enchiladas for Cinco de Mayo, incredible tofu masala, tasty shashuka without the egg, Vermont maple soaked oats, and a memorable pineapple coconut rice pudding. Margaritas and Old Fashions were great, and the Heady Topper was free-flowing! Oh yessss! I loved fact that they use local fan favorite Fox Hollow Apple Cider too! Go for the cran-apple juice! Yum! The wedding was absolutely stunning! The ceremony was on the grass under the pretty arbor. The cocktail hour was on the terrace with passed hors d'oeuvrs, and the reception was in the round barn. Just gorgeous! The coordinator was on top of everything! I mean everything! Rehearsal, to hand-lettering, to fixing the bride's gown. Awesome job! The rooms were so lovely and each had their own personality. Some has a jacuzzi tub, all showers included a seat, which we love, and each room had a fireplace. I couldn't help but imagine how super romantic it would be laying in bed with that fireplace blaring on ones of those frigid, but beautiful snow-filled Vermont nights. Made me want to return late fall and around the holidays! The beds were super comfortable and our bed in "Dana" was a four post elevated, which required stairs. Loved it! We also had lovely views of The Green Mountains from our bed and there was a vaulted ceiling and a loft too. Wine glasses left for us also. We were very happy with Dana as our choice for rooms. No detail was overlooked here. I loved the black embroidered makeup towel for the ladies to use for face washing. The lovely toiletries were nice also. The warming tray for their hand made ceramic mugs...nice touch! The dining area was cozy, as was the game room where we enjoyed games of checkers and diving into one of the many books in the library. The staff were all wonderful and overly accommodating in every way possible. Check in was simple. Checking out even easier. We felt so safe and at home here we didn't even lock our room or use our key. The area is fantastic! It's right near Sugarbush for some skiing. There was even some snow left on the mountain early May! Warren Falls and National Green Mountain Forest is just down the road where the hiking is great, and the moose crossing signs are out! Warren Falls is great for families and has a swimming hole. Moss Glenn just a bit farther is a super impressive waterfall. Woodstock/Queeche, my favorite town in Vermont is just a half hour away and Stowe is about 40 minutes. Lots to do in both! I would absolutely come here again! Everything was pure bliss. The only mishaps which I should mention, but it didn't personally bother me one bit was that the power went out during a pretty bad storm. The rain pounding on that old roof so loudly and passionately....I thought it was super romantic! The staff was very well prepared with lanterns and flashlights, which actually makes me feel this isn't their first rodeo. Just a heads up. Highly, highly recommend for first timers to Vermont, for an iconic New England experience. It's equally as great for old pros who love the outdoors and need to reconnect with nature and/or one another, and for brides! It's definitely not cheap, but if definitely shows. It's a unique and special venue. Perfection.

Yelp
We just got back from our two night stay at this beautiful B&B. This was our first Vermont B&B experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The location is beautiful and inn is very charming. We encountered some reservation issues due to some misunderstandings, but the staff gladly fixed the problem. Once we got there, Shivam, the innkeeper, gave us a tour of the property. We fell in love with this quaint and peaceful inn. We stayed in the Sterling room, and I personally think this is the best room in the inn. It has windows all around with beautiful open views of the backyard and the mountains behind it. The breakfasts were tasty and filling, at least for me. My husband is a growing man, so he said he could've eaten more... but it held him over till lunch. The staff were amazing! Shivam was very friendly and we had a nice chat with her. Jim was also very welcoming and provided a lot of great recommendations for sightseeing and truly getting a feel for the area. Everyone greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome, which was wonderful! This city gal will definitely be going back to this charming inn in the fall!

Yelp
This is a lovely inn with a gracious staff, delicious breakfast and snacks. Very accommodating for special food requests. The rooms could use a little work, they are a bit shabby as was the bathroom. Many rooms have a gas fireplace in them and the sitting room wood fireplace is a delight. The walls are quite thin so you do hear noises but with only 12 rooms it's a beautiful in to relax and stay in.

Yelp
The Inn is a beautiful and picturesque Vermont weekend get away that you'll never want to leave! My best friend had her wedding here and it was a gorgeous weekend. The Inn is very good at hosting wedding parties and makes sure that you have everything you need to have a seamless and memorable wedding. The team at the Inn is so friendly, engaging, and make every effort to help everything run like clockwork. Everything is at your fingertips and filled with Vermont charm! The decor is charming and is filled with so much character. The food is amazing and fresh. There is even a tea room available all day and night with homemade cookies that will make for a perfect late night snack! The Inn has wedding coordinators on staff and that really makes the wedding experience superb. The coordinators know the space so well and they can really help you craft an experience that is exactly what you are looking for. My friend lives on the other side of the country and had to do a lot of her wedding planning remotely. The Inn made her experience fun and exciting without worrying about the small details. Becky was so great helping manage our large wedding party and the families and made my friend's day one that she will never forget. The barn is a great space for cocktail hours and receptions. There is really a great flow from space to space that makes it an all inclusive space for a wedding. Everyone loved the food, the outside vendors were managed really well, and the weekend was a success. I'll really want to make a trip back to Vermont and experience the Inn for a charming Vermont weekend. Thanks for a lovely weekend and experience!

Yelp
In late September we held our wedding reception at the Round Barn. It was an amazing day in a spectacular setting. The barn has been beautifully restored and is a great spot for a Vermonty wedding. The inn is intimate and the owners are friendly. I can hardly complain about such a perfect day. I'll admit this isn't the most reasonably priced location for a wedding or even a long weekend. On the other hand, there is a shortage of "perfect" locations so you kind of just have to deal with the high price. Check this place out in any season. You'll be back every year.

Yelp
We go away every year for a couple of nights to celebrate our anniversary. This year we tried the Round Barn Farm. First of all, the place is breathtakingly beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I always check before we book if the place we are staying can accommodate my gluten free diet (I have Celiac) and was assured they could. I didn't expect much to be honest, as long as I get some eggs for breakfast I'd be happy. Well, I have to say I was BLOWN AWAY by what I was served. They went over and above my expectations. Each morning I was served a fresh, gluten free baked good. Seriously? I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I have NEVER had anyone go out of their way like that for my diet! We stayed in the Terrace room which is downstairs next to the game room. There weren't many people in the game room, so we basically had it to ourselves and it was like our own little apartment. The Terrace room itself was beautiful. Everything was immaculately clean and current (no outdated bathrooms or things falling apart). I can't say enough good things about this place. I would LOVE to go back!!!

Yelp
I stayed here as part of a wedding recently. It is a large bed and breakfast with 12 rooms. We booked one of the least expensive rooms for $220 (with all taxes + fees) a night . The room was located on the first floor near the fireplace. It was a small room with enough room width wise to fit a queen bed and a night stand on either side. There was also a fireplace along with a small bathroom. We found out that night that heat in the bathroom did not work...ice cold tiles + an ice cold tub greeted me early in the morning when I started getting ready. Overnight, there were loud obnoxious and decidedly drunk people right outside the room. So, we didn't exactly sleep well. Due to the hours we were busy for the wedding, I was unable to find people around to discuss these issues with when I got back from the events. The staff we did see seemed friendly. The much touted 3 course breakfast did not deliver for me. The first course was either a piece of homemade coffee cake or biscuit. The second course was a small portion of fruit salad. The third course was eggs with pork or pancakes. Nothing really stand out and if you were a vegetarian, they just omitted the meat and didn't add anything else (like some vegetables perhaps?). However, it was nice to have access to an unlimited supply of good coffee and tea. They also offered locally made cider as part of the breakfast. For a busy weekend, the price we paid for the least luxurious room was very steep and not something I would do again. However, the Inn at the Round Barn Farm is a good place for people who want a low key weekend of staying in the room and relaxing (they have a game room and a small pool). *I am rounding them up to 3 stars as I didn't have a chance to find out what corrective actions they would have taken about the heating issues in our room.

Yelp
My first time visiting The Inn at The Round Barn Farm was for a summer wedding. Between the green flowered meadows, the covered bridge, the little farm attached to the property and the reception in the round barn...well, that venue totally epitomized what the world thinks is the idyllic Vermont country setting. Then the sun went down, and the fireflies began to twinkle. Wow! Fast forward, my second visit to The Inn at The Round Barn Farm...OMG, it was winter. As far as the eye could see, everything was blanketed in white, white, snow. This time the only thing twinkling were the icicles on the eves. Lol, I got out of the car and started sliding across the parking lot. This California girl was COLD! But the moment I walked into The Round Barn the warmth of all the townspeople surrounded me. What an amazing farmers market Waitsfield puts on. Music, food, crafts, and more; all under that round roof. Five stars year round!

Yelp
The Round Barn is absolutely beautiful in every way. After searching all over Vermont for our wedding location, my fiance and I drove up the road to the Round Barn Inn & Farm.... it was an "AHHHHHH" moment for me the second I saw the place- soooo picturesque- I mean, you drive through a covered bridge to get there. Then up and over a few hills and the beautifully restored barn is just sitting there in a majestic-looking sprawling of fields- it's really just such a perfect classically Vermont setting. I ran around the grounds in utter excitement at having located the perfect place of my dreams... Kudos to Tim for being a great host- it felt like he was a Vermont Dad during our stay. All the staff were so friendly. It really does feel homey. The rooms and entire Inn are just beautifully decorated. Amazing exposed wood beams abound, and gorgeous furniture in every room. Steam showers are sooo relaxing! Staying there may just put you in the poor house- it is pricey- but then again, other local options of the same calibur (Pitcher Inn) are the same or more in price. And the Barn can accomodate large weddings, which is fairly rare for the area. And really, you just can't beat the location. Our food was frickin delicious- this was not nasty wedding food- the apps were so good I wanted to hoard them. And the meal itself came out very nicely. The barn itself is a beautiful place to host an event- my only real complaint is that you have to end at 9:30 pm (10 in the winter...)- which is really kind of too early. I'd recommend starting a wee bit earlier then you might for a wedding, in order to make full use of the time. My reasons for 4 rather than 5 stars are mainly the time issue, the pricing, the brunch is good but not spectacular, and a few minor issues that came up related to the wedding "coordinator". However, I should mention that particular event/wedding coordinator has since been replaced, and Tim handled her mistakes very professionally. Basically, she screwed up the vegetarian meal (I'm veggie- you don't mess with the bride)- and a number of specific decoration issues I'd laid out for her- she basically didn't listen to anything I said despite being very nice. But again, she got the axe, and everything else about this place is so perfect. My other comment for Barn-bride-to-bes is don't rely just on their recommended vendor list- there are plenty of other nearby options not on their list that can do a better job. Also, don't rely on the coordinator to do your work for you- you can bounce questions off them but designate someone else to help on the day- I don't know what the new person is like, but it's worth it to be sure. The Round Barn was an amazing place to have a wedding. We had the BEST day. It really is the perfect Vermont retreat (if you're willing to shell out some dough).

Yelp
There isn't one bad thing I can say about the Round Barn. I had my wedding here during the weekend of hurricane Irene. The staff went completely out of their way to make us feel comfortable (even while their own homes were getting flooded, or were at risk of being flooded). Aside from the post-wedding day storm, our wedding couldn't have been more flawless. Samantha, the RB's wedding/event planner totally exceeded our expectations and ensured that we had the most amazing wedding ever. Everyone says that their own wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to. However, as a professional wedding photographer (and someone who goes to at least 40-50 weddings per year), I would be the first to criticize my own wedding if I deemed it necessary. But like I said, it was absolutely flawless, thanks to the uber-professional Round Barn staff. Sleeping quarters were fantastic, food was amazing, and good times were had by all who stayed there with us. It was without a doubt, a week I'll never forget, and I'll most definitely recommend the Round Barn Farm to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Yelp
I can't tell you what a wonderful weekend we had here. We arrived Friday evening for my niece's wedding on Saturday. We were greeted by Siobohn who patiently waited to show us our room. She offered us cookies and an artichoke dip. The B&B has soft pine floor boards, so they give you socks and slippers to walk around in. The temperature, -2, didn't help as we walked outside to the Round Barn, about 50 feet away. But the venue was beautiful, as the ceremony was downstairs and the reception upstairs. They included breakfast with the rooms. I was expecting a buffet, but was treated to fresh fruit, pancakes with apples and cranberries plus bacon one morning, and eggs and cheese in a baked potato with corn beef. Also pears and raspberry fruit to start the meal. If someone needed something special, they were accommodating. The staff was friendly and engaging. The fireplace in the sitting room was warming. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed at the Inn at the Round Barn about a month ago. The staff is very kind and welcoming, the inn is very clean, and quite charming! The breakfasts were delicious. We ate out on the patio, and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for a true Vermont experience! We also recommend check out the Waitsfield Farmers Market, American Flatbread, and Three Mountain Cafe(blueberry muffins and chocolate croissants- yum!).

Yelp
I was very excited to stay at the Round Barn Inn for the weekend and partake in the Snowshoe dinner on Saturday night. The inn is under newish ownership as it was purchased by a couple from New Jersey 1.5 years ago. We stayed in the Terrace Room. I really enjoyed the size of the room and the fact that it opened into the common area of the "game room". The rooms were not right on top of each other and you could be as public or private as you choose. I enjoyed the little details that the inn offered such as homemade cookies in the afternoon, Bee Kind sundries, local tea from Waterbury, NY and Quinn popcorn and Stewart's soda. I was however disappointed with the snowshoe dinner. It was $95.00 per person. This included a snowshoe rental, head lamp and dinner at a old hunting cabin. The hike was 45 minutes and at a fast pace. There was no allowances to stop and catch your breath. The snowshoe dinner included cheese charcuterie, duck wings, chicken wings, veggie dumplings, sausage, kale and squash veggie, and chili. The dessert was smores. You had to bring your own alcoholic beverages that were brought in prior to the snowshoe by staff. No one was able to tell us what the meal was going to be prior to the meal. Due to our party having various food sensitivities we asked various staff at the inn who gave us completely different answers including "filet mignon" and "stew". We had no idea what to expect and were concerned that there may be some gastric distress in the middle of the woods. We were also disappointed with the seating in the cabin. They had 16 people signed up for the snowshoe dinner. They did not have enough seating and we were seated staring at the wall. Another couple had to sit in high bar stools and were perched over the table. I thought for $95.00 a person there would be more options and better organization, and possibly something more fancy for the meal than chili and smores. The breakfast at the inn was hit or miss. The first morning it was wonderful with eggs, homemade bread, fresh bacon, banana bread, and an apple slaw. The second morning, it was French toast with caramelized bananas. The staff seemed pretty disappointed when I asked for no bananas. 2 out of 4 of our French toasts were very underdone and were raw batter. I didn't want to say anything considering I felt like they were upset about the bananas. We loved the room and the inn itself, but it seems the new owners still have a few kinks they have to work out to make this place truly fantastic.

Yelp
We had our wedding at The Inn at The Round Barn Farm in late July of this year. We immediately fell in love with the serenity of the setting and how it seemed to put us at peace. The entire staff was amazing and accommodating during our entire wedding experience. The food was absolutely delicious and our guests are still raving about it! Compliments to Chef Charlie! Lisa, the Wedding Planner on staff is the absolute best. She thinks of EVERYTHING and takes the burden completely off the bride and groom. You can be as hands-on or as hands-off as you want with Lisa. Never have I seen a woman balance complete warmth in her interactions and also remain as cool as a cucumber under pressure. Becky, who assisted with our event management and decor was also amazing! The day before our wedding, I basically gave her boxes full of decorations with no idea how to get them to all work together in the barn and she made everything look wonderfully! I am a designer so I am a bit of a tough critic but she just transformed the barn into the wedding setting of our dreams. The owner of the Inn, Anne Marie and her partner Tim make every guest feel immediately at home. They got to know our guests, made sure everyone's bellies were full and kept a close watch on the ominous skies to ensure we could get the most time outdoors as possible! Stephanie, the Inn Keeper is also an absolute delight. She always has a smile on her face and is so calm and welcoming. Every single guest knew her name and adored her by the end of the weekend! The staff works excellently together, and as a team, made our wedding day so incredibly special. They made my husband and I and all our of our guests feel very much at home.

Yelp
We got there and they gave us a tour of the place, it was cute. We picked it because its supposed to be one of the best B&B in Vermont.. I disagree... the lady (Siovan) gave us a tour of the place and brought us to our room, and you pay for the room you select because each room has different features. So she brought us to the room we originally selected, but we called and changed our room in the beginning of December because we didn't like the original one selected, we got a confirmation email and everything that we had successfully changed rooms. Well, when we tell her it's the wrong room, she tells us mostly that we are lying, until my spouse shows her the email, then she just says its a system error and never apologizes. I ask her if the place is sold out, she says yes and says the room we wanted is already taken and that its mostly that room, or we have to find a different place to stay. So we take the room, the wall paper in the room looks like it has faces in it, and literally gave me nightmares. We asked for the Sterling Room because of all the windows, and we wanted to enjoy the landscape, instead we got the Sherman Room, which had three small windows, and you had to sit on the floor next to them to be able to see anything other than the grass below. It was super hot in the room because we were on the second floor, to the point where we turned off the heat in the room and had our windows open the entire time, (it was 2 degrees outside). It was so dry in the room that on Sunday when I woke up, I sat up out of bed and got a bloody nose because of it, (I never get bloody noses). The beds are one of the memory foam beds, which is fine until you have a girl like me with a big butt, and I turn over, and the memory foam is still formed to my butt, so now im sleeping in a damn hole in the mattress. The walls were also super thin, so we got woken up every morning to the women next door blow drying their hair and got to listen to their conversations, so we felt like we had to whisper in our private room, because other people could hear us. It was super quiet there, and we felt like we had to whisper in the hallways, which was really awkward as well. Part of being there was they fed us breakfast as well, but they didn't give us a choice on the breakfast, it was more like "this is what we are serving, if you don't like it too bad" kind of thing. So I had to eat around half the stuff they made because it wasn't something I liked... Imostly didn't eat until lunch. Not once when we were walking through the building or anything did any of the people there ask us how our stay was. THEN when we went to leave, we told the woman who we were checking out with that we were supposed to receive an email from the whole check-in debacle, she goes to say "O well we gave you an upgraded room". It is not an upgraded room if we specifically asked for a different one, and we didn't want this one. They gave us 15% off our bill, but we still paid WAY too much money for something that I don't find to be even half what it is worth. Very disappointed, the only time nice time we ended up having was when we left the building. We would not recommend this place.

Yelp
Just got back from a wonderful stay at The Inn at Round Barn Farm. The property is beautiful and the staff was very nice. Breakfast each day was absolutely delicious and creative. Very relaxing and quiet place for a beautiful Vermont weekend.

Yelp
This place was incredible! My Aunt and Uncle bought us a gift card here as a wedding present. We got in late but when we stepped out of the car we couldn't take our eyes of the stars. It was breathtaking. It took us forever to get inside since we walked the whole time with our eyes on the sky. We got into our room, the English Room and it was just beautifully cozy. The bed!! Now the bed was so comfortable we seriously considered just staying there all weekend. We woke the next morning at 8 so that we could take advantage of the breakfast inclusion. The food was amazing! A 3 course breakfast meal overlooking the beautiful back yard garden (see pictures I posted). After our french toast we wandered back up stairs with our coffee and took a nap. This laid back, comfortable, homey feeling was throughout the weekend. They gave us great suggestions for dinner and activities for those who wanted to take advantage of the outdoors. I loved this place and have already told all my friends that it is the perfect weekend get away from the city. I can't wait to make time to go back!

Amanda C.

Yelp
We have nothing but great things to say about this place. It is absolutely beautiful and the food is mouth watering! We stayed in their Richardson room and it was stunning; the whole place was from inside to the gardens and ponds outside and inside the silo too. It is centralized so Burlington is just a short drive away and there was lots to do in between there too (hiking, kayaking, etc.) We already plan on making this our spot we return to on trips to Vermont.

Lisa L.

Yelp
We got married in 2008 at the Round Barn and to this day, our family still raves about it. My father stays here during the holidays and he is a very picky person. He cannot say enough about his stay there...relaxing, accomodating and quality time away. You will not go wrong here...it is by far the best place in the valley to stay!!

Yelp
A friend's wedding was held at the Round Barn, and it was beautiful and perfectly executed. Everything went amazingly and every guest had a great time. The next day, MANY of us found ourselves stuck in Vermont due to Hurricane Irene. The Round Barn Inn not only took in a million wedding guests for HALF-PRICE, but they made sure that the extra day and night we had to spend in Vermont was amazing. The entire staff was warm and welcoming, but Tim, Cliff and Stef really stand out in my mind. They were unable to get home to their own families, yet they still made their Inn guests a top priority. They chatted with us, baked us cookies and artichoke dip, gave us an amazing, delicious and free dinner and breakfast, and generally made a huge group of people who would have otherwise been antsy to leave VT and grumpy incredibly happy. Then, to make sure we were safe leaving the state, they helped us all go over routes to the major highways and were on top of road closures so we wouldn't get stuck anywhere else. I couldn't be exaggerating less- this review is completely genuine, and I really have a hard time wrapping my head around just how above and beyond the Round Barn went this past weekend. It's beautiful, the rooms are super nice and large, the beds are comfortable, the property is really stunning, and the staff, as I mentioned, is awesome. Stay here! Well worth anything they charge.

Yelp
My husband and I have been annual guests for 6 or 7 years, and the Inn is absolutely perfect from the welcoming staff to the amazing food to the beautiful inn and barn. The Inn is a great place to escape the fast pace of the city but still feel pampered. I love the emphasis on local farms at breakfast and the daily hors d'oeuvres (thanks, Charlie!) Snowshoeing in the woods across the street is a great way to work off the wonderful cooking (and the Inn provides the snowshoes!) I'm looking forward to coming back for one of their snowshoe dinners!

We stayed at the Inn for 2 nights (Fri/Sat). We had excellent service all around. Our room (Sherman) was beautiful with exposed wood beams and a steam shower, but we checked out all of the rooms and we would have been happy in any of them. It's beautifully well kept and clean, we felt completely at home. Every detail had been covered, from warmed mugs for coffee/tea in the morning to fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Breakfast was so unique and delicious on both mornings. Truly a lovely getaway, only a short drive to the town with great places to eat (try Blue Stone!). Will recommend and return!

Yelp
My husband and I stayed a the Round Barn during our honeymoon and it was amazing! We stayed in the Richardson Room, which was very romantic. Each morning, we awoke to the most delicious smells coming from the kitchen where they make a 3 course breakfast for guests. Mid-afternoon snacks are made each day. The innkeepers are delightful and very helpful in making excellent restaurant reservations in the area. In the winter, the neighboring farm offers sleigh rides (part of our Round Barn package) on an antique sleigh driven by Belgian horses. The whole trip was a dream and we can't wait to go back!

Yelp
We had our December wedding at the Round Barn and it was fabulous. All our guests were so complimentary about the setting, the food, the service, and the entire experience. Having such a professional staff and dedicated events coordinator are key, and made the entire planning process seamless. The accommodations and breakfast at the Inn are also wonderful - we look forward to going back to celebrate a future anniversary!

Yelp
The inn was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was remarkably beautiful and tasty. We highly recommend going in the winter. It was like a Christmas card--snowed everyday. We took the cookie decorating class and had a sleigh ride. Snow shoeing was available on well marked trails across the road. The towns around have great shopping and activities. Everything was so picturesque. The little things made this trip so great (coffee mugs were warmed in the morning for us, table settings were beautiful, coffee/tea/sodas always available, cookies and small appetizers put out in the evening). We stayed in the Sterling room which has beautiful windows and a view. We had no problem staying in our room reading during the day--so cozy. The only word to the wise I have about that room is it is very close to the living room/entrance/kitchen so it isn't super secluded. However you don't share a wall with other bedrooms. Can't wait to come back and check out other rooms! :)
